- I was a part-time Master’s student at the Singapore University of Social Sciences @SUSS_sg while holding a full-time job.
These are the 4 factors that helped me juggle work, studies and my personal life.
#1: I had an interest in the course
#2: I was settled in my job before enrolling
#3: I had a good support system in place
#4: SUSS is catered to adult learners
If you're a part-time student as well, share your tips for juggling work, personal commitments and studies in the comments!

Is this the same as a part time degree in SUSS ?
Hi Kenneth,
some PT students get burnt out spending alot of hours studying outside of class
how many hours did u spend studying outside of class as a PT student? Does the studying hours depend on the major?
Yeah, it'll depend on the major. I spent a lot of time outside of class studying and writing papers. My job at the time sometimes involves running events on weekends and after office hours so my social life also grinded to a halt.
What degree did u pursue? Adult learning?
Yes, I graduated from the Master of Adult Learning which was discontinued after the SUSS merger with IAL
