  • This film gives an introduction to the open air museum ’the Funen Village’ situated in Odense. A visit to the Funen Village is like taking a stroll in the countryside at the time of Hans Christian Andersen.
The museum includes some 25 buildings dating from the 17th to the 19th century, all of which were moved to the museum from various sites in the Funen region. A village milieu has been created here comprising half-timbered houses, flower gardens, fenced enclosures, livestock and animals, a village pond and a village street - all surrounded by cultivated fields.
