Jon pertwee is the best doctor in classic Dr who in my own opinion and you can see why he is so good as the doctor because jon pertwee was making the his version of the doctor his own and all hail jon pertwee
I think Pertwee's is the most consistently good run of any Doctor. Even though Tom Baker and Pat Troughton are probably my favourite portrayals, the writing quality isn't as consistent as the Letts/ Dicks period.
Hartnell would have only joined his successors in person in episode 4,had plans not had to change...actually a cyberman is one of the cardboard baddies seen in the nightmare sequence in mind of evil🎩
My personal ranking: The Three Doctors The Curse of Peladon Terror of the Autons Planet of the Spiders The Green Death Spearhead from Space The Monster of Peladon The Invasion of the Dinosaurs Planet of the Daleks The Ambassadors of Death The Time Warrior Doctor Who and the Silurians Death to the Daleks Frontier in Space The Daemons Day of the Daleks The Sea Devils The Time Monster Colony in Space Inferno The Mutants The Mind of Evil Claws of Axos The Carnival of Monsters
Honestly shocked to see Carnival of Monsters and Inferno so low but that's definitely the beauty of Doctor Who, everyone has their own favourites and least favourites :)
@@AnIdiotBox1963 Inferno just felt like watching the same episode twice? And I still don’t know what’s up with the weird green werewolf monster things. Carnival of Monsters is the only episode that gave me pause at calling Space Pirates my least favorite classic episode. NOTHING outside the mini scope was even a little bit relevant. Everything outside the mini scope was just people standing around and talking. The “traveling circus” was just a dude with a TV. And inside the mini scope it was so cyclical with the memories constantly being erased. And the dreshigs were hyped up as this big threat but died if you sneezed in their general direction. It was painful.

Pertwees performance is so perfect throughout his whole run

I’ll agree with that to an extent, I think Season 9 (overall) sucks but Season 7 and 10 are some of my favourites
@@AnIdiotBox1963 9 is definitely the weak point, but still better than some 80s and modern seasons.
@@leecarroll4622 Oh definitely better than Season 24, and Series 11/12 haha
I wish Pertwee had had more historical stories than 1 and a bit (the bit is the Atlantis episodes of Time Monster)🎩
Yeah it's a shame but most of his era was so focused on contemporary earth, so it's understandable, fortunately 4's era fixed that
Well done! All hail Inferno!!
Best classic story of all time!

@@macthemeh I think on this one, we'll have to agree to disagree haha, still love others input though :)
