- The segmentation, targeting and positioning (STP) model is a three-stage strategic marketing process that allows you to efficiently target the right audience(s) for your brand.
Using segmentation, targeting, and positioning means you can a) identity the most attractive market segments, b) target that audience accordingly, and c) position your brand to reach the correct segments.
