Great video! My window guides had come off and I wanted to see how to take off the door panel without breaking the 31 year old girl. Saves me more money DIYing it rather than sending to a shop
@@southerngearz As a college student, I need to save money wherever I can, lol. I named my truck Bonnie since she keeps robbing my wallet whenever I even look her way. Maybe I should've gone with a more economic car, but I love classic vehicles and it just so happened that my S10 was for sale for 1k so of course I couldn't miss that deal. The S10 is a great project vehicle IMO and she's worth every penny
You skipped past all the parts I needed to see I'm having a hard time getting it on the track you say put the front of the window in first but mine is not lining up with that sidetrack.
Are you referring to the metal guides? If so they can be replaced but you will have to get them from a junkyard. They have a keyway so slide them up or down.

There are 2 differnt windows for the square body.. clear and pop bottle green(tinted)
Did not know that thanks for the knowledge
Air conditioning was an option on S10s that included tinted windows. Strippers without
A/C came with plain glass.

@@southerngearz unfortunately these old Chevy are hard to find in any of the junkyards I've asked. they're just not worth enough to keep around :(
