You hit the nail on the head with three things "nice guys" typically miss: taking action, having boundaries, and having ambition. I was a nice guy in high school and continue to be a heartthrob since college. Learned the skills by taking action, became more attractive by setting boundaries, and became a heartthrob by having interests and ambition. This was a great video! #niceguy #bloopers 😉

Eeyore is my favorite Pooh character. Having a negative outlook on life isn't bad by itself, it's what you do with it. I am prepared for the bad and pleasantly surprised when things are good. Being an optimist and getting disappointed when thing go wrong sounds depressing.

Wow, you have just said something that I have told so many of my friends (all my friends are born again and married bar one)
I tell them this is why the church and one has just closed down because it didn't grow and that is waiting for God to do it when scripture clearly says that we are to go out into all the world!
The Greek word for "go out " is the word Ek-bolo means to cast out or throw out.
Jesus used it to describe casting out demons.
We, the church, are commanded to go out with the same force.
Yes, I totally agree with you, coach Melanie. we are to go find her.
There are so many single Christians in the church who have waiting years unnecessarily for their dream guy/gal!

I'm 35 and giving up on dating. There's just so many of these things that I've tried with women, some of them take things totally differently,i had a girl who broke up with me because I did NOT express my feeling towards her quickly enough, like one of your points in this video, just as one example. It's really a tough dating world I feel bad for all the guys out there in this race trying so hard and failing.

Subconsciously, I believe that after getting to know a lady most men are in, I don't know about this mode. We can get stuck between she's cool to hang out with but..? At least for me that's what used to happen when I was dating. Today I hear stories of how difficult some women can be and I realise that despite being single maybe dating ain't worth the effort and the reward may not be worth it.

Or getting put in the 'friend zone.' This is something I keep doing without realising it. So to discipline myself not to do this will be hard for me. A LOT of men aren't making moves because they're afraid of getting meetooed. Also with the huge rise in women empowerment, a lot of men feel it's the womens turn to make the moves. Just sayin. Hope to hear from you.

As a lifetime Christian, a martial arts instructor and Personal trainer. Your super right man it's dicey out there and they have a lot of power on both sides of the coin so to speak. Thank God I don't do dirt because I have had 3 false accusals from women I never even saw outside of work/the gym or wherever we had a forced togetherness. My reputation and being very smart about documenting things for proof of innocence saved me. Pretty sad because this evil world has made it that if you are good and genuine most girls don't believe that you are and if you try "too hard" to prove it you come off needy or weird. The juice doesn't seem worth the squeeze anymore especially when you can lose everything you've worked for in a moment.

I just wanna say this to guys who have no clue about the friend part. What she means to say is that women are damaged and they don't like organic friendships. They don't have time for that. Unless you're around her somehow (class or work or whatever), if she's in public, she doesn't have time to get to know you and even if you get her number. Even if you're extremely charming and attractive, most will not respond and even if they do, they won't continue because they think you want a fwb thing. So they want to know for sure that you are romantically into them so you have to kinda get into your bedroom voice instead of a fanboy voice when you talk to them and try to act like a Chad rather than someone sweet. You have to act a bit like a player for a moment (but keep it clean) to get them to believe that you're not just looking for a fwb relationship. They have been burned too many times in the past by aholes so they don't understand what nice guy means. They think you aren't looking for a relationship if you don't get let them know in some way that you're interested in them as more than a friend.

Bloopers show humans are not always at the top of the pile, no matter how we view ourselves. Which is a good thing. They ground us to the world, both the known and unplanned for alike.
And nice guys bloop the same as everyone else. Only they endlessly apologise about each and every one.

So there’s this girl from my church that I really like and I was looking at her during the service and when it was time for communion her and her family got up and they walked up to get communion and on the way back she went down the isle.I had an isle seat and she walked down my isle instead of the the isle she was supposed to go down.Is she checking me out? She wasn’t even following her family when she did this it was just her walking right by me I was the only boy that was on that isle. Am I reading to much into this? Did I mess up because I did not look at her when she did this? BTW she was also not going to the bathroom when she walked down my isle so It seems like maybe she was trying to get a good look at me.I mean why go to an isle that is far away from your seat just to walk in a half circle?

When I saw my wife who lived 6 miles away i got on the bus went to her town knocked on the wrong door and found her family only to learn she was sleeping at her sister 6 miles in the other direction. I went and found her to be married for 40 years. I called myself a predator pursuing prey. If you like this girl, get up, go and get her. Don't let another man get there first. Write a short letter and give it to her or her mother. That may sound brave but fortune favours the brave. Good luck.

@@tomedgerton9603 If I were you...I'd pay attention to what the Sermon is about, and say 3 key points. Act like you are getting your jacket or off to the washroom, or say on your way back from washroom, and stop and tell her what you learned from this Sermon. Her parents will find it hard to tell her to "Pick someone else" as you (obviously) were not playing on your Device,... YOU of all the boys were taking notes! She will appreciate that as well. Now, if you go all slouch after she says yes, then you'll run into the "What happened to the (Tyler/Adam,etc) I met 5 months ago"? They all expect consistency.

Hi Melannie, Rick here. I sometimes wonder if one of my coworkers is interested or attracted to me. She seems very soft spoken and shy. She doesn't really talk much but she's a hard worker. We were working together one evening and just normal talk. Nothin extravagant. But I notice that she tends to work close to where I'm usually working. She'll say hi to me and call me by name. I say good morning Carolyn to her when I see her. Today I was working in an isle at the store we both work at and she said hi to me. I said hi back. Then she asked me "So what time are you outta here Rick"? Now She should know the answer to that question being that we both walked inat the same time but I told her I was out at 2pm. During the rest of the day we kept bumpin into each other during the day. She seemed to be a little more talkative and not so awkward feeling. I just wonder. I'm kinda confused because my marriage with my wife is getting more rocky. I'm not a cheater sooooo?

It wouldn't be fair to her for you to show any interest unless and until you are out of your current relationship.

Im interested in what you said about don't express feelings too early. I'm in a complicated situation with a friend of mine who I have a crush on. I've known her for a year and liked her for a long time but I was married. She was my wife's best friend but my wife died at the end of last year. So now I'm ready to considering I should pursue my friend. I have hinted by text with flirting and with compliments. But not sure what to do next. Don't want to freak her out.
