Wow, Seibja’s scale is no joke. First Japan and now Thailand? Color me impressed. Jihyo vs the pigeons was hilarious. First she gets scared then she tries to fight back. I’m really happy that Jihyo found the two exchange students who knew Korean. She must have felt quite relieved. Also, Jihyo being too sexy for the temple was very on brand. The best part of the entire episode was just seeing Jihyo enjoy the different dishes and furrow her brow from how tasty it all was. 🇹🇭
작년에 태국 방콕을 여행하던 중 작은 로컬 식당에서 처음 맛본 똠얌꿍 맛이 잊혀지지 않네요. 현지 분위기를 느껴보고 싶어 골목 시장 근처에 위치한 작은 노천 식당에 들렀는데, 메뉴판도 제대로 읽기 어려운 상황에서 주인 아저씨가 추천한 대표 메뉴가 바로 똠얌꿍이었습니다. 이국적인 그릇에 담긴 똠얌꿍은 첫인상부터 강렬했어요. 빨갛게 빛나는 국물 위에 큼지막한 새우와 고수 잎, 그리고 라임 조각이 수북이 얹혀 있었습니다. 향만 맡아도 레몬그라스와 고수, 칠리의 강렬한 조화가 코끝을 자극했는데요. 한입 맛보자마자 그 강렬함이 입안 가득 퍼지며 저를 완전히 사로잡았습니다. 똠얌꿍의 국물은 그야말로 ‘태국의 맛’을 압축한 느낌이었어요. 매콤함, 새콤함, 그리고 약간의 달콤함이 조화를 이루며 계속해서 숟가락을 들게 만들었습니다. 국물 속 새우는 살이 단단하고 신선했으며, 씹을 때마다 고소한 해산물의 풍미가 느껴졌습니다. 여기에 쌀국수 면을 추가해서 먹으니 한 끼 식사로도 완벽했죠. 현지에서만 느낄 수 있는 식당의 소박한 분위기도 똠얌꿍을 더 특별하게 만들어 줬습니다. 선풍기가 돌아가는 작은 공간에서 현지인들과 함께 테이블을 공유하며 식사를 했는데, 옆 테이블의 현지 가족들과 간단한 인사를 주고받으며 낯선 곳에서의 따뜻함을 느낄 수 있었습니다. 특히 인상 깊었던 건, 주인이 직접 가져다준 각종 소스와 허브들이었어요. 매운맛을 조절할 수 있는 칠리 페이스트와 새콤한 맛을 더할 수 있는 라임 즙이 함께 제공되었는데, 이를 활용해 자신만의 똠얌꿍 맛을 완성해보는 재미도 있었습니다. 그날 밤, 똠얌꿍의 맛은 단순한 한 끼 식사가 아닌 태국 여행의 추억으로 각인되었습니다. 방콕의 활기찬 골목, 식당에서 흘러나오는 태국 전통 음악, 그리고 낯선 향신료의 조화가 어우러져 잊지 못할 특별한 순간을 만들어줬습니다. 다음에 태국을 다시 방문한다면, 또다시 이 똠얌꿍을 맛보며 그때의 추억을 되새기고 싶어요. 그리고 이번에는 현지인처럼 태국어로 주문해보고, 더 깊은 현지 문화를 경험해볼 계획입니다.
Those girls were really lucky they got to have this adventure with Jihyo. Jihyo on the other hand, really made this episode so smooth I didn't even realize it had ended! As a Thai once, I’m really greatful that Jihyo, Twice, and managers love Thailand. Thank you for visiting both for concerts and vacations! It’s such a shame that the only time im able to see Jihyo when she comes to thailand is while she’s on the stage🤣 Hope one day she revisits Bangkok and I would get a chance to meet her in real life. Jihyo would really be such a fun person to travel with. Always up for an adventure and exploring the local area. This would have been an amazing episode for a guest like Bambam or Minnie but Jihyo was able to find some friends who spoke korean and thai and it definitely helped her relax. The next episode looks like it's going to be hilarious as well. Strategy going to be bringing us tons of content the next few weeks!
When she first started this show I couldn't help but view her as Twice's Jihyo but nowadays she has really become the host Seibja to me without the Twice tag with how comfortable and natural she has become like I don't know how to explain it properly but if you get it you get it lol
우와 ㅎㅎ 세입자라는 유튜브 프로그램이 참 좋은것 같아요 태국이라는 문화를 좀 더 알게 되는 시간들이었고 그리고 벌써 코로나 종식이 된지 2년이 넘었지만 각나라에 여행을 할수있다는 점이 참 좋은것 같아요 태국에 음식맛있다는데 영상에서도 참 먹음직스럽네요 한번 꼭 태국 가서 그나라의 대표음식과 여러 음식들 맛보고 싶네요 ㅎㅎ 꼭 제가 여행온것 같아요 ㅎㅎ 그리고 마지막으로 각 나라 사람들이 한국말을 조리있게 하는걸 봤지만 진짜 한국인같이 한국말을 잘하시길래 놀랐어요 그정도로 한국의 k-pop이 전세계적으로 널리 잘 알려있구나 이생각이 들었어요 저는 마지막으로 아직 해외 여행은 안다녀왔지만 제가 국내여행은 잘 다녀와서요 음... 전라북도특별자치시 부안군에 위치한 할매국밥이라는 곳이 있는데 거기진짜 순대국밥이 엄청 맛있더라구요 밑반찬도 잘나와있구 무엇보다도 남녀노소 아이들까지 잘먹더라구요 ㅎㅎ

Jihyo is so lovely and very relatable. From wondering how to cross the street to trying to inquire for a more reasonable price to the salesperson to navigating herself in a foreign country. She's a gem. She did so well, and I'm glad she met the other three, they are all so friendly and helpful.

Please do more overseas episodes with Jihyo. It’s so so fun to watch Jihyo explore the world and interact with the locals/foreigners.
This might be one of the best series I've seen. The flow is perfectly paced. Jihyo does an amazing job. The only thing I wish she had done was expose richard to twice, play him a few mvs. But im being greedy 😂
