Much better than the film of DJ Khaled showing off his DJ skills lol. Hope everyone pays you top dollar for DJing man
Ahaha 🙏🏾✊🏾
@@DJLiftOFF He's the least talented man on Earth, his beat juggling sounds like every missed note lol
That chirp + 1 click flare is my next mountain to climb 🧗
Thank you for this man especially when you spoke about the frustration of learning how to scratch.. thank you for letting me know you struggled too man that's just gonna encourage me to keep going 👍🏾
Thanks so much, moving from a Pioneer DDJ SR to a FLX10 & this was exactly what I was looking for, appreciate it!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I appreciate this knowledge. Loving the journey on becoming a DJ and pages like this genuinely help.
🙏🏾 appreciate you! Glad I can help.
As always, top tier content.
Appreciate you as always 🤞🏾🤞🏾
Thanks for sharing all the great and useful info. Salute DJ.
Salute 🫡 - and no doubt!
Perfect tips!! Frfr!!

Appreciate you man! And doubt 🙏🏾
Thanks for your help it sounds encouraging
No doubt!! 🙏🏾
I appreciate you my guy
No doubt G 🙏🏾🙏🏾
I needed that...thank you Dj Lift Off...I have been discouraged lately to the point that I don't even want to cut my equipment on and practice because I'm still thinking about that horrible practice I had before. I will try what you said and see how it goes.
Welcome man! Let me know how it goes. Def was a game changer for me.
that beat switch at tip#3 was fire
✊🏾✊🏾
Yessir perfect advice my g 🔒🔥🔥
Appreciate you man ✊🏾
Great video. Just like your first tip of only using the record, I also recommend only using the crossfader to practice too. Find a long tone sound, and practice just the crossfader. Works great for transformers!
Excellent tip man!! 💯
Like your video I am a subscriber. I was trying to see if you had a video on how to mix acapellas?
Hey thanks 🙏🏽 for the Video ! I have a question 🙋🏽♂️. Can I learn to Scratch on the Hercules DJ controller for IPhone ??
I can't get that sound off the gear I have which is a Traktor Kontrol S3 Mk3 even with the crossfade set all the way to Sharp. The crossfader seems to act just like the upfaders. Maybe time to ditch this gear and get the FLX10 or Rane Four.
what was your practice schedule when you were starting?
Early in my practice days, I tried my best to practice at least 20-30 minutes minimum 5 days a week.
@@DJLiftOFFhow long before you felt comfortable freestyle scratching in front of people?
Great Vid man, clearly explained. Do you have any free scratching courses that i can follow ?
You already have it free lol😅
Ahaha ✊🏾✊🏾
Question, I've been mixing a long time, I'm super comfortable mixing live, gigged my ass off in my 20's, but never learned to scratch. My ancient mixer doesn't have a cross fader curve though. Any advice?
Depending on serious you are about learning to scratch, my advice varies lol. If you’re super serious, I’d get some turntables and a mixer with a crossfader. Doesn’t have to be the most expensive ever, but just something so you get the full effect.
If you’re easing back in and aren’t like 110% invested, I’d get a controller with motorized platters like the Rev 7 or Rane one.
@DJLiftOFF Coo. I've got well calibrated SL-1200 Mk5's, and my mixer is a Pioneer DJM 300. Is there anything I can do to help learn on the mixer that doesn't have cross fader curve?
And I'm very serious about learning to scratch. Part of the reason I stopped mixing was the lack of challenge, so I started producing instead. Now I'm back at the decks, and want to play live again. P.S. I don't ever sell gear, I got my Technics from the old days. I baby my gear too, they still niiiicceeee.
What's up Dj Liftoff I'm a beginner Dj have you did any videos on setting loops
Yo! I didn’t a video on auto loops that might help: How to Set Cue Points and Use Auto-Loop for DJs (For Beginners and Intermediate DJs) | Part 1

Ahhh thanks for the heads up!!
I’m about to purchase a Rev 7 and another DJ told me he was taught on a actual turn table can I learn on a rev7 due to me transitioning from a rev1?
@5:26
I always recommend motorized platters for scratching but you definitely want to pick a piece of equipment and stick to it. So if you’ve been learning on the Rev 1, it might set you back a little bit on the Rev 7 because they’re so different.
@@DJLiftOFF My cousins been a dj over 35 yrs so one day he let me jump on his rev7 while he was doing an event & the rev1 is the same im ways.. just better too me. Everything is basically where the rev1 is just better. I want that 7 boo ❤️😂😂😂😂💪🏾
It not hard at all. Get off that digital shot get a record with a needle.
