Not sure if this will get a response, but is the methane reading in % of overall volume of methane or % of the lower explosive limit of methane??

I have an ignorant question that i hope you can help me with. 3:00 into the video i can see the C04 reading(46.4) and i have learned the range for our site that i should consider good/bad....what they haven't taught me is how the static pressure reading (-18.02) should help me know what adjustment to make. I don't understand that correlation whatsoever, yet, and i have the worst trainer ever and i want to actually understand the whole process. If it is a more complicated answer then i understand and maybe you can point me in the right direction to find the info? Thank you very much for your time.

I’m just getting into this field myself and had a trainer that didn’t know/show me much either. He’s been fired in the middle of training me and I haven’t gotten much help. Could either of you guys answer a couple questions for me?

Why do you have a charcoal filter on your blue hose? Totally not necessary and does nothing for the gas sample. It’s actually going to cause your pressures to take longer to stabilize.

I was thinking the same thing.. because the gas will run through the instrument and back into the line. So basically it will hit a water trap>char filter> gem5000 >char filter> line
