Hello, an other nice item i like building which increases the damage output by a huge amount and i usually build it 2nd or 3rd is Karen Slayer, but you haven't mentioned it at all in the video. Did you forget about it or it isn't a good item after all, and there are better alternatives. I am using it in low elo and it has worked really well
Just some stats for people who still think sheild bow is superior item choice. Steraks and sheildbow both = 3000. Steraks sheild is 80% of bonus health, Sheildbow maximum is 530. At first buy without sundered sky at level 3 you have a 424 sheild. If you buy sundered sky that sheild is increased to 723 hp at level 3 Sheild bow lasts for 3 seconds. Steraks sheild lasts for 4.5 seconds. Steraks cooldown is 60 seconds Sheild bow is 90. Steraks's AD is based off of base AD of ur champ here are the numbers Level 1 -> 33 Level 2 -> 34 Level 3 -> 35 Level 4-> 37 Level 5 -> 39 Level 6 -> 40 Level 7 ->42 Level 8 -> 44 Level 9 -> 46 Level 10-> 48 Level 11 ->50 Level 12 ->52 level 13->54 Level 14->57 Level15->59 Level16->61 Level17->64 level18->67 Realistically youre getting steraks around levels 10+ so you're gaining more AD from steraks with sheildbow giving 50. Only thing that Sheildbow gives is 12% lifesteal which isnt that worth it compared to the 20% tenacity you gain with steraks and the additional AD, sheild and lower CD sheild on steraks than sheildbow with them costing the same price.
Note also the Extra health from scaling rune. I bought steraks at level 1 to find 424 hp but in reality it might be 524 at level 10 due to the heal scaling rune.
Kraken Slayer is currently in meta, unfortunately that came with the changes after I published the video. I personally would advise against Trinity force, the value for money is pretty low and normally with Wits End, Kraken Slayer or Deaths Dance you can adjust more to the enemy team. Titanic Hydra is okay I guess, but I personally dislike it. I am more a fan of survivability - dmg and less tankyness.
Very good guide imo. I’m not a high rank irelia at all, but I do play a lot. In my low-Elo case I feel irelia is very strong this recent split because of her variable itemization. I almost go Bork into terminus first even in this patch even though players like irelking don’t build it anymore. Though taking a damage hit, it still got a net buff of giving 30% pen and I think better level scaling(?). It’s extremely useful while ahead since it’s a great team fight tool and I felt that it almost shreds players who build pure defense to counter her + magic damage from items and passive ignore more mr. After that I get kraken slayer/deaths dance if a backliner is a problem or I get blood thirster for frontliners. I know you didn’t mention blood thirster, but that 18% lifesteal and shield is just insane if you were going for split push or focusing tank. In most cases, I just get kraken slayer/deaths dance. The rest is just build defense or GA. I’d say GA is only good after you know you need to win 1 more team fight to end, or if your rich.
Just ignore trinity and Tiamat. Trinity gives like no damage and scales kind of bad… just feels horrible idk the math, rather get sundered which I forgot to mention, but I rarely build it unlesss I need to have team fight power. Tiamat items sometimes just mess you up when you try to chain minions or when you have to focus on item passive. It’s fine but doesn’t feel great synergy wisr
I would like to say that irelia is kinda easy, a lot of pp say she is veery difficult but actually, she is not. Thumbsup is that a lot of players in low elo does not know how to play against her
I mean there's people who are good with her from the get-go and some people who aren't. However, there is a nerf coming to her Q cooldown reduction from her Ult and her AD scaling per level has been nerf so her base AD at lvl 18 is now 113 let's see if this affects how good people are with her
After the Video was published Kraken-Slayer also gathered a lot of preference in Pro-Play as a third item!
