@@donkisler3538 Good afternoon, I agree. However, when adding so many new features you have to figure out how to keep the price of the hot tub reasonable as well. So, some features have to change depending on popularity and that one didn’t make the cut. Hope this helps!
Good afternoon, they had a lot of upgrades to the new 880s and to keep the pricing from going up they did away with the fiberglassed backed filter lid. They had to save in a few places and that was one of them. Hope this helps!
Good morning, the updates to the 780 series are; New thicker ABS pan All new seamless cabinet New SmartTub module that works with cellular connection or WiFi New updated more efficient circuit board Hope this helps!
@@tostones9273 Good afternoon, the Hamilton didn't get the new entertainment package. However, the 4 marine grade speakers, amp, and sub do a pretty good job. Hope this helps!
Good afternoon, yes I have. I really don't see an issue unless I total soak it with water. When I pull my hand out of the water wet it seems to work fine but if I totally soak it then yes it isn't as responsive as I would like. However, there's pros and cons to a glass LED touch screen. One of the biggest pros is that the screen will last much longer and tends to be much more durable than a traditional LCD touch screen. One of the biggest cons is when it really gets wet it's not as responsive. Another thing to consider is controlling it using SmartTub. I do find most of my clients don't even use the LED touch screen. You can control your hot tub using your phone, tablet, Alexa, Google Home, Apple watch, Android watch and other devices for ease of use. I guess I agree to a point but I don't find it to be a big issue personally. Hope this helps!
This is going to sound silly, but where on earth are we supposed to put the Neutral wire on the new motherboard? I've been looking at the diagram, and it shows that Red goes to #2, and Black goes to #3, but it does not show anything in #1 or #4... TERRIBLE documentation... electrical diagram doesn't mention neutral at all. THANK YOU in advance for your help!!!
Nevermind... I'm sorry... three wire insulation means there are only two hots and a ground!! :) Didn't realize this... Thank you for such awesome videos!! YOU are the reason I purchased my hot tub!! You guys rock!!!
Good afternoon, the gfci is in the software of the hot tub itself so it doesn't require a neutral. However, code is going to tell you to run a neutral so best thing to do is cap it off on both sides so it doesn't create an issue. Furthermore, you do still need a gfci breaker per code and I know what you're thinking why do I need a gfci if I don't have a neutral? What we think doesn't matter as we have to follow the codes. Hope this helps!
Just bought our 880 and we are still learning the controls. can you explain how to turn the uv filter cycle on?
That drain is something I always use. So much faster.

Does the Marin have the same size lounge as the Cameo??
Good afternoon, the Marin has a petite lounge so it's smaller than the full lounge in the Cameo. Hope this helps!
Have you tried the 2024 touch screen once wet?? No bueno!!
