I will consider this in the future yes! Thanks for idea. :) For now what comes pretty close is this video right here: ua-cam.com/video/AG8gFb7x_S8/v-deo.html
I'm kinda torn between this one and the Sony RX100 VII. The main reason I'm leaning towards this camera is because of its sensor, which seems to handle low light situations better. But gotta admit, when it comes to features, the RX100 totally outshines the Ricoh in many ways.
The RX100 is better suited for someone who wants to capture every detail possible. The GR more for people that just want to document life as it is. Slightly different use cases imo.
i can see why! i kinda agree with professionalpotato here. one aspect is also the rx has a zoom lens which gives you more flexibility while the Ricoh has a fixed one which forces you to be a little bit more creative with your shots. Either way i think both are an awesome fit!
I have both and love both, but for daily usage I find myself only using Ricoh. I use the RX100 more when I go to concerts or sports games due to the zoom feature. But for daily pictures, besides the sensor, the less than 1 sec speed to turn on is also something that I would highlight
Thanks! Yeah, I totally agree. Ricoh definitely nails it with the image quality, especially with those Jpegs, thanks to its sensor size. I'm leaning towards grabbing this one too. But yeah, if it had weather sealing, it'd be the ultimate travel buddy. Oh well, gotta roll with what we've got, right?@@ASiqueira1973
📸 I am amazed at those photos considering they are unedited!
right! so many settings to choose from! 👨🎨

So pumped for the GRiiiX HDF. Grabbing one as my first Ricoh when it comes out! 📷
Oh I didn't know about that one! Looks great 📷!
Can you please make a video on the photo book that you made? :) Interested about hearing about your process.

Great video. The shots are nice too 📹 🫶🏻
thank ya! ☺️
I’ve had better cameras however the Ricoh wins for me since it’s always with me. I’ve recently went back to the grIII for its size
There's always a better one for sure. Great you come back to it 👍🏼 it beats everything when it comes to my expectations for a small compact camera. ☺️
The grill?
@@puckhead1221 GR III lol
@@sdhute from now on the Ricoh GR3 is called the grill 🤣

I believe Its actually 28mm in APS-C so its roughly 18mm in Full Frame
other way around 😉 the lens is a 18.3mm which means 28mm in 35mm equivalent.
Yeah but it's advertised as 28mm
📷👍
✌🏻
Great video!
thanks tim!
28mm is not what the human eye sees, the 40mm GRIIIx at 40mm is actually much closer to what we all see.
You are correct - my mistake
even better is Ricoh GR 3x, since the 3 has alot of distortion and you cant use it in most cases, specially with portraits which is a bum
I didnt know that. Its great that there a different options. For me i like the wider GRIII more ☺️
Used both of them with no issues. There is almost no (0.3%) distortion on the 28mil.
No credibility...that camera is garbage
One man's trash is another man's treasure. Everyone has different needs. It simply doesn't meet yours.
