- The Su-27 and J-11 have caught my eye the day they were released. And ever since getting one of these amazing RC Jets it has been my favorite RC Airplane. It flys extremely scale, has a good weight to it which makes it very stable, and it looks AMAZING!!!

I changed the ESCs on mine to the Hobbywing Flyfun 120A V5 the Schubeler DS30 AXI HDS 70mm EDF units with 3070 1700kv motors on an 8s 6000mah. It has double the thrust now. It is so much fun. I would recommend buying a replacement fuselage to change to 8s. That way the stock one doesn't get ruined. It is one of my favorites, too. Looks so realistic in the air. You should build a Black Horse L39 Albatross 90mm or the Black Horse Viper Jet MKII 120mm ARF. You would fall in love with either one. They are both incredible flying and looking EDF jets. They are Balsa and Fiberglass ARFs though. Worth every Penny.

Fly that F-86 first brotha! 5000mah works perfect. 3.5 minutes and keep the brakes on a different channel than the flaps. Best sounding 80 on the market. You will love it

I have this jet. I actually got it from Brian Phillips RC when he crashed it because he killed the battery. I repaired it, and on the second flight I was having too much fun with and then I killed the battery and crashed it too! 🤦 It's repaired now again, but I haven't flown yet since the second repair. It really is such a good looking jet!! Flys good too!
Twin 70’s and a heavy Jet = short run times. Debated making this a the one a few times.

Going the by the cockpit and large rudder fins this actually the airframe of the J-16 which is an equivalent to russian SU-30MKK.
Not that it really matters lol, all Sukhoi fighters/attackers airframes are derived from SU-27 design at the end of the day!😊

I'm trying to get into miniatures/toscale, I've always had a love for miniatures planes helicopters boats and locomotive... But I'm more of an airman
I mean I'm gonna start of with something small of course being a beginner, but I plan to work my way up to something like the fms j-11 twin
I'm on the the fence about electric powered or gas powered, just because it doesn't seem like a lot of flight time comes with electric, but electric seems more rc classic and it appears to be worth every penny of $600
I really don't know enough to determine on exactly what I want as I haven't even had my first flight yet or witness flight live in person, but I think eventually I want both powered

An ordinance is definitely a preference acquired taste, there's nothing wrong with the authentic battle look, but is the agility compromise really worth the aesthetics?

650 for a well designed foamie with full electronics package and decent quality electronics is more than fair. You get a lot of performance for that 650 bucks.

You have to move the CG back to get that Cobra maneuver right.
I got some good ones with a 5000. But yes. Cutting some foam away to push it farther back works great. Seen my buddy do it with his SU-27

I hang it in my garage. Wings come off with 2 screws each. Still a big plane though
Looks nice, i have to give you that, but i still dont get why its your favorite jet...i mean each his own, but a favortie jet has to do better for me to be honest. I mean its a battery killer, short flight times, very hard to land, not that good on grass...sorry dont get it, nice video though.
Does good on grass. I like it because it’s challenging. Heavy.. have to fly it. Extremely scale looking. Just all in the one that gets me most excited to fly.
