there was some people speculated that Bertolt could have messaged Zeno about the coal but didnt act and gave the people time to discover it just so they can have it. Also a spoiler for Vila’s story cause you might not have read it…
In Vila’s story the town got reversed so everything they did was all for nothing. Also if you seen why theres a lot of Windsong x Vila fics was because part of Vila’s story she protected Windsong from being attacked by her merfolk and Windsong sent a letter to Vila how she missed holding her hands. Also read the Windsong story cause that shit is heartbreaking

The person at the end (and the beginning) of the story is the blind lady with the typewriter Avgust mentioned. Highly implied to be Bessmert.
Also that radio broadcast mentioning the veins turning into wires was mentioned previously in the main story by Forget Me Not of all people. Take that as you will.
