- Well all that was delish. Hope you were inspired to get weird in the kitchen and try new things. This one will be going in the cook book with some alterations of course, but we are excited to include a little somethin’ somethin’ for all those meat eaters out there :)
FIsh Taco Recipe - Follow the video for the instructions!
For the Slaw:
½ Head cabbage
2 Lime Juice
1 Bushel Cilantro
¼ tsp Salt
1 ½ cups Mayo
For the Batter:
1 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tbsp Old Bay Spice
1 tsp Cajun Spice
1 cup Beer
White fish of choice
Tortillas - Corn or Flour
Jalepeno Radish
For the Sauce:
Mayo
Siracha (add to taste)

Personally, I prefer a paper book. I’m really not technical and I’m old fashioned, I love to hold a book, feel the paper and they have a smell you just can’t beat. I’m so excited for your cookbook. It’ll be a little gift for myself for beating my demons and not self harming for eight months. With so much uncertainty and challenging times, it’s lovely to see such a beautiful family enjoying themselves, laughing and just having fun. I absolutely adore you, all.xxxxx

Your food always looks epic people and that garden soil looks like black gold , would love you both to share some of your permaculture wisdom, like how to make a really great no dig garden and why we shouldn't dig.
Some one told me once " leaves are called leaves because you LEAVE them to nourish the earth" OMG !!!this was my first gardening revelation that led me to a better way respecting the Mother....I am sure you have some good gems to make change and up the gardening game.

I like the option of a hard cover book. Maybe take preorders for that now to see how many you would need to order and order 10% more for future sales and see how that goes? Im Sure having a hoard of books with limited space isn't much of an option.

We made these tonight! Soo good!!! We just added a crema and pico de gallo. We added Mexican sour cream, a little mayo, lime juice, and Sriracha sauce! Thanks guys!!! How am I a 34 yr old, half Mexican and never had a fish taco?? Lol

Super excited for the cookbook (hard copy). We have friends who are vegetarian, some vegan (one who is vegan except for occasionally succumbs to the seduction of bacon) meat eaters and everything in between. Luv the idea of a cookbook of a little something for everyone.
Making me hungry, Guys! lol. As far as the book, I prefer hardcover since I love the feel and smell of books. It's so much more personal.

I LOVE that you're going to include meat in your cookbook even though you're doing of a lot plant-based as well. Personally, I try to cut out meat products where I can and what I enjoy. I switched my milk out over a year ago and try to eat non-meat alternatives where I can, ie vegan mayonnaise taste the same! So I use that instead :)
Ebook is more cost efficient but hardcover is lovely for many reasons like to show off on the bookshelf or on the coffee table

I've been hearing about the Bee videos you're going to bring us for at least a year now (I'm an OG!😎) so I really hope u can bring us into more of the bee keeping/honey extraction and also the garden. 🍅Garden looks great btw! Every parent's dream!🙏 I would absolutely LOVE to have a community garden, but can't keep an acre or even 1/2 cleared by myself. PS Just my 2 cents re: cookbook. Love a hard copy, but practically... an e-cookbook could be taken anywhere, can put recipes into cooking apps, can still be printed out and made into hard copies if wanted, etc. I love cookbooks, but practicality wise, to get most use out of it...an e-book is much more adaptable. OK bye.

The tacos look delicious! I have a recipe I'll share if your interested - its a coleslaw with Thai basil and tom yum seasoning. I served it with Mahi Mahi. I made the coleslaw sauce with mayo, honey, coconut vinegar and a spoonful of tom yum paste from the Asian grocery. The coleslaw is green cabbage, Thai basil, and green onion - adding carrot might be good too, but not sure if it would alter the flavor too much. I love watching your channel because you all remind me of the people I grew up around. We lived off the grid in Oregon a long time ago. Glad to see the lifestyle is alive and well 💗
