That is standard operating procedure (SOP) for many agencies now. If anyone had been injured they might not be quite as polite. It is also SOP to render aid once the subject is in handcuffs.

I'm as neutral as you could probably be with police because I've seen horrible crimes committed under a badge scott free; but also have seen many peoples lives being saved. We should be able to see as much as physically possible without jeopardizing citizen or officer safety, in a perfect world all traffic stops should be recorded and uploaded if possible.
That officer with the stop sticks was NUTS, excellent job. Not sure they could have caught that guy without it, at least for that night. They had his plates.

There's been quite a few videos on here of police eventually catching the speeder at a later date (by going to houses or seeing the car again). Pretty hard to not get caught unless the car was stolen, with no witnesses to the stealing, and no cop saw your face. Oh - and not bragging about it, as the suspect often does and the detectives find them that way too.
I think he cared more about his car after the spike strips than getting away. They should do criminal background checks on people buying these new age muscle cars. They seemed to be involved in a lot of police chases. They get sway fairly often as well.

The spike strip officer deserves a raise, that was flawless 👏. The other cop that shot near the school seemed so disappointed when the suspect said he wasnt hit or hurt lol
He couldn't have gotten away because here my point seeing how he pulls away from the first cop made me think why turn of your lights since the color of the charger matches the dark environment then pull somewhere where I could hide but the loud noises of the car attract the cops car towards the direction I came
The first one could not have gone any better. The driver gave the cops a good story to tell. No one was hurt. The driver stopped and gave him self up. Cops handled the arrest in a calm and professional manner. Even going so far as to asking the driver if he was ok.
Because if anything they would be charged with manslaughter due to it being easier to identify and prove in court. Murder is used in cases where the person had the intent to kill. So running from the cops the driver more than likely doesn’t want to kill anyone so to ping them with murder would be hard to prove.
1st chase..slightly crazy, but nothing special 2nd chase…definitely NOT crazy. 3rd chase was a mild,typical crazy…but not CRAAAAZY..4th chase…the craziest part is that Officer blazed through two school zones, and fired at the kid with the piece even though the kid didn’t point it or shoot it. Not to mention those homes in the crossfire wtf Johnny law? And honorable mention for the crossing guard who didn’t bat an eye when the minivan rolled away or when the cop started yelling drop the gun. 5th chase I knew would be crazy because it started on Martin Luther King Blvd. and the cop yelling woooooo after being shot at was an added treat. And now chase 6….which the only “crazy” was the police officers inability to stop the car at least three times . Overall crazy average was 34% crazy
