The German loco is an unfair pick compared to the other ones. It was produced in the 50s and already retired with DB in 1988 so she is SIGNIFICANTLY older and thus underpowered compared to the other diesels. I would suggest to use the DB class 218 or 245 next time. These locos are way more powerfull and modern and deffinitly better the the V200
@LaZeRJET The 4 main freight companies here in the states are Union Pacific, BNSF, a merger of the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe railroads, CSX, a merger of Chesapeake and Ohio and like a million others, and Norfolk Southern, a merger of Norfolk and Western and the Southern to keep up with CSX’s growth. Speaking of N&W, you should do a freight race between a N&W class A or Y6b and the Big Boy. I think that would draw in quite a crowd.
You can't use different freight cars and make the trains the same length and say that's 'equal', you should be trying to match the tonnage of the freight consist to be the exact same, if not within 10 tonnes...
The thing is that germany kind of skipped through diesel locos and just went from mostly steam to mostly electricity. Also, the german diesel engine is from the early 1950s, and although the class37 is just 20 years younger, it is still kind of unfair to compare them to each other, let alone a new diesel loco like the american one.
To think that our diesels for the most part all top out at 70 mph all they had to do was set them to 200% power and we could deliver our goods just a little faster
The main railroads in America are BNSF, Union Pacific, CSX and Norfolk Southern. There’s also Canadian national and Canadian pacific which both run mostly in Canada but do have territory in the US. and Kansas City southern which runs down to Mexico. although CP and KCS have recently merged. There’s not much of a difference between all of them. They all defer basic maintenance and work their employees to death. Union Pacific might be a little better since they have a steam program. I’m not sure if any railroad in Europe have steam programs but for those who don’t know it’s basically where a railroad keeps and operates preserved steam locomotives that they used to own on their mainlines. I don’t think it’s fair to hate them all. I blame all of their actions on the people in charge not the company itself. So I think it’s alright to like their paint job.
@@locomotivesteam9334 not really, its just a game Its not really 100% accurate Im just saying if this we're in real life the GEVO (The Most Generic Modern Locomotive in North America) would win
Sorry to correct, but BNSF was a merger between the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe railroads, hence BN-SF. Southern pacific was bought by union pacific, I believe
You know it probably would be a neat race if you have the diesel locomotives nearly or exact horsepower rather than just different horsepower, of course the GE ES44AC will win beacuse it have 4400 hp while DB V 200 have 2170 hp and BR Class 37 have 1750 hp Edit: 11:45 well most of the class 1 railroads in america are kinda.... well not great, most of thier decisions are "LITERALLY" stupid. Class 1 Railroads in U.S try to do one man crew by just one excuse "they have Positive Train Control (PTC), we have modern technologies that could do the conductors work", and some other things
It's not just BNSF, UP, and CSX here. There's also NS. The fifth Class I railroad here in the USA is surprisingly Amtrak which is the lone Class I passenger rail carrier.
Don't forget Kansas City Southern. In North America, there are 8 class 1 railroads. Union Paciifc, BNSF, CSX, Norfolk Southern, KCS, Ferromex, Canadian Pacific, and Canadian National

0:43 that train is a breeze for it.
It pulls trains of 200 cars solo on flat terrain and 135 cars up steep grades.
I love how you added the hills on either side of the tracks. It's very fitting, especially for American freight trains
The American BNSF locomotive is the strongest and powerful to pull all of those cars. Do more strength test videos
Legend says the German train is still not at the end of the race.
Lol
i did a bit of research and yes the legend is true
@@Timme-mg2hfyea same lol

Just a note for future reference. Power only increases the top speed not the accelaration so they won't start any faster only Reach a higher top speed

The 37 was produced starting in 1960 so it's got the same issue. The american one though is recent so this is unfair in that regard
Bnsf
But the sd-40 are from the 70s and can pull a lot of cars

WAP 7 is among the strongest locos of all time, with about 12,000 HP.
IR is improving
WAG 12 has 12000hp not WAP 7
The reason that it is powerful is due to its Electric volts, These are diesels we are talking about
Great video, Oliver.
Can you please race the Alstom Aventra Class 345 in the Elizabeth Line livery, class 720 in GA Livery and Class 745 Pleaseeee

First: USA (ES44AC)
Second: GER (V200)
Third: GBR (Class 37)

Here in the United States that load is easy for our ES44ACs.
I live uk and class 37 it's definitely my favourite but the American desel just call it a bnsf
Should have been the ES44AC vs the DB Class 294 vs the Class 59
I haven’t watched the video yet, but the outcome is obvious America is going to win
Hey Oliver, I have an idea for a race.
You driving a Super Class 47 vs a computer programmed Super Class 47
Our locos can make deal with about 60 cars with one loco.
early love ur vids keep it up bro
Yayyyyyyyyyyy
You should get the UP DDA40X and do a DIESEL strength challenge or A Competition against all 3 Big Boy Versions please🇺🇸
Hi Oliver
The 37 is cheating, he got empty wagons. 😅
Amazing I love the 37s I think they are the strongest
Burlington Northern & Santa Fe & csx are usas second biggest freight companies 😮🎉❤
