Yeah I hear you. This happen mostly within 10k miles to 40k miles which would still be cover under the warranty. Once is done you don't have to worry about it. They made the parts better. This is why you don't buy the 1st or 2nd year of that model. Wait at least for the 3rd year.

Thermostat! The original Thermostat has a wire filter which gets a lot of dirt collected and don't let coolant pass through. You have to replace the Thermostat. The new Thermostat doesn't have that filter in it. So make sure it's off when you get the old one out.
Yes, if the Thermostat hasn't been replace. But once the new one is in, it will last more than the original, due to the elimination of that dirt collector filter
Did you mean a220? My moms a220 cylinder head just went bad at 103k miles, so about 165k kilometers.. but I’ll say she doesn’t drive very aggressively. Hey boss, great job. I have a 2021 GLB 250, 31k. Check engine light, took it to the dealership. Burned valve. Asked me for proof of receipts that I changed oil. I am assuming this is the same issue? This is what the dealership will need to do?

Mainly the valves, intake /exhaust valves. But meecedes so far is changing the complete cylinder head. What is the new part number for the updated M260 cylinder head? My car is out of warranty, 68000 miles and has a leaky cylinder head . MB is charging me 9000$ to fix it.
Well, sometimes the cylinder head comes with the intake, exhaust valves and valve stem seals in it and head gasket. But sometimes the cylinder head comes naked just the block. I guess it depends on the model. Ask before you order it.
Yes they been bad! And I thought the M271 was the worst. But at least the M271 lasted about 90,000 miles until they bent intake and exhaust valve and gears.

@892016901 the intake and exhaust valves get shewed up and valves don't sit flush on cylinder head causing misfire
