    Great video lot of learning. Also recently mercedese covered the head of all those 2.0 engines produced in 2021 and 2022 check with your dealer you might qualify for an extended 15 y/150k miles warranty on those heads. I also had the same issue which they covered 100%

    I have a GLB 250 (2021 model and 22k km). The engine check light has turned on. Service said it is because of fuel system. But no exact reason. Then I made them turned the check light off 3 days later it came back on Then 1 week after it turned off by itself.
    I used the for 200km and full the tank. After 2 weeks light came back again.
    The average consumption is 17liter / 100 km. Isn’t it too much? What could be the issue?

      Yeah I hear you. This happen mostly within 10k miles to 40k miles which would still be cover under the warranty. Once is done you don't have to worry about it. They made the parts better. This is why you don't buy the 1st or 2nd year of that model. Wait at least for the 3rd year.

    • @nelynel83
      @nelynel83  2 місяці тому

      Thermostat! The original Thermostat has a wire filter which gets a lot of dirt collected and don't let coolant pass through. You have to replace the Thermostat. The new Thermostat doesn't have that filter in it. So make sure it's off when you get the old one out.

      Did you mean a220? My moms a220 cylinder head just went bad at 103k miles, so about 165k kilometers.. but I’ll say she doesn’t drive very aggressively. If you drive aggressively (I do) I wouldn’t expect to even get that much life out of it.. I want a bmw 540i, but idk if my pockets can handle the maintenance, if things go wrong. my Acura is one run to autozone and I get her fixed within a day! You have to take it to the Mercedes-Benz dealer and they will diagnose the vehicle and if they verify that this is your issue. They will give you an estimate if your car is out of warranty, but if it's still under 5 years or 40,000 miles or additional CPO warranty they will repair at no charge.
