    Very cool. I’m currently building the v-twin with one of my sons. I’m a motovlogger and I’m taking pictures as we go so I can make a video about it. I couldn’t NOT buy a backwards sporty motor so I bet some of my viewers will be interested.

    Why is it crucial to turn the engine counter clockwise?

      That way the valves work correctly - Suck, Squeeze, Bang, Blow....... Some engines turn Clockwise, others turn Counter-clockwise - this one obviously turns Clockwise (when viewed from the Pilot's position - which is ALWAYS the correct position in aviation). This means it turns Counter-Clockwise from the front (where you NEVER want to be when the real thing is running).
