Imagine if this was the real set, would have been so much better! Great job!
But it would have been a little bit more expensive ($60-$80)
@@Crummieboi56 that's what they don't understand, I bought this set cause it was inexpensive, because most technic sets are around $100-$200 price point.
@@moisty_rabbit9873 yeah but you bought a not so great set. It's nice that it's cheap but it's not worth the money at the current state
@@vincenzo_barra It's really good for the price point.
@@moisty_rabbit9873 if you like it, that's fine, but you don't even get a b model, there are more gears in a creator set, it's not even realistic and it's plenty of gaps
Already a better job than lego ever did.
This is impressive. Such a small set turned into really great build. Congrats
That's some solid work.
I did this. It was compulsory from the moment I watched this video. The original set is just so pathetic, and this mod makes it actually fun to build! Thank you!
I still would pay even 70 for this one because it offers so many great pieces from the MOD
this is crazy, you really should be a Lego designer at this point
I really want to learn how to build that custom engine, it looks so simple yet so cool
Man, I never would’ve thought of using upside down pins like that, amazing job bro
coolest moc ive seen so far!
best upgrade I have seen ever! nice work!
Amazing job!
Original set have nice appearance and good playability, but lack of "technicity" really make it upsetting. And your mod fixes it, moving to such a great level!
Some connections are really sick, like the front differential hanging directly on cv joints, but anyway, squeezing all this stuff in such a small model is a big win, I really appreciate your work.
And BIG thanks for the LXF!
Thank you for the praise.
Awesome MOD!
Thank you, my friend :)

That's the Model what it should be.
Good job Mate 👍
This is what real lego wrangler should have been
Great mod! Thanks for sharing!
Amazing upgrade!!! Greetz from germany
... what Lego should have been offering in the first place, for this model. Well done
Jeep Wrangler as it should be. Great job!
i love it, im making an rc offroad pickup, and this will make the perfect frame to build it on
WOWZERS!!! great job on the engine
I bought mine for $110 AU and I got emotional damage after they dropped the prices in some local stores to $60 AU.
Used same idea for the engine when making my Mack rc with working steering wheel and fake engine, it’s perfect for fitting in tight spaces. That was an amazing upgrade to the set👏🏻
Thanks for the info!
I just made my doors only have a bottom hinge so they are removable. Then I found that they connect under the Jeep, like yellow floor pans!
Great work! Respect!
This is already a great set so what you did has made it ten times better, I will definitely try and upgrade mine
I was actually pretty disappointed with the lack of functionality in the base set, so I will be upgrading mine too. I'm excited for this mod!
Great job!
It would be a dream if Lego made a piece that was in-between the 1x1 round tile and 2x2 round tile because it woukd be perfect for the lights on this jeep and speed champions scale Porsches
This video made my day
This awesome. Turns the set into a $79.99 set easily and I'd definitely buy it.
It's just perfect!
Thank you !!!
This is what we wanted!
This is my favorite mod!!!!
Wow so cool
Perfect
For rc mod, you should go with power functions, you should use M motor for drive, with slow gear ration, and servo for steering, servo could go in the hood by removing engine, and buwizz at the backo of the car, also you could make some sort of trunk in the back like Real one has..
bro is so amazing 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Is including all the parts in the LEGO set or is there extra pieces to buy
Great!😍
Woah that is too epic now it would just be crazy if it was remote controlled o:
Now it's time to add power functions or powered up to this.
I really wanna buy this set and do this mod it's so cool
Amazing addition to an already cool set. I just ordered mine and can't wait to build. I would love to do this mod, and I downloaded the LXF file. However, I'm new to that program and can't figure out a) how to determine what additional pieces will be needed and b) how to perform the mods. Is there a step by step instruction I'm missing? Thanks.
So I found the building instruction mode, but is there a piece list at all?
@@andycorum2449 where is the instructios
Much better
Is there a way that i can make a instruction for this ? In studio 2.0
Bit i am a noob but really want to build this
You did, what Lego failed.
Great
Good mod
Wow looks like a great model improvement! So how did you get a hold of this set when it's not coming out until Jan 1? Have you copied it from the pictures? 😀
Thank you. I got it for reviewing purposes from TLG, more info here: ua-cam.com/video/w4-OjRNY9pA/v-deo.html
Ive always wanted to make this but i dont have the ball joint part
What extra pieces apart from the original set are required to build this mod?
It is like a budget 42110 but without a gearbox
This is so fantastic! Love the steering idea via the spare and the radical suspension.
I have a question about live axles. Hopefully someone can help me out. How does one incorporate steering and a driven axle (differential powered)?
I’m looking for principles about it. I just figured out how to do live axles but am unsure about adding steering. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
I suggest the Eurobricks axles help topic. Best regards
@@ZEROBRICKS Thanks!
can we get a tut on the steering mechanism
soooooop cool
Wow. It's really cool, especially the time it tooks you to make the upgrade.
How much pars have you added?
Looks like there is not to much unique pars, som many people can buy and upgrade it. Thank you very much fot that
If you check the LDD file, there are almost all parts except the new panels and wheels. The piece count was increased from 665 to 722.
@@ZEROBRICKS What LDD file? I don t see one? Can u help?
@@eloxdgg the link is in the video description...
@@ZEROBRICKS I only see LXF file
@@eloxdgg That is the file type LDD uses.
I built this. I like it and it's good, but I found the body a bit to flexible as the main support between the front and mid-rear is just the a-pillar. And the front diff is very loose (pretty sure I copied it right)
So cool!

Thank you for sharing the lxf file. Does it require additional parts?
It does, indeed.
I am interested in instructions for this set
Great work!
Can't seem to open the file. Is there other ways to open it or a different file type like pdf?
No, sorry, only with LDD 4.3.11
@@ZEROBRICKS Thank you!
for how many elections did they sell it?
Does anyone have a parts list for the extra pieces needed for this mod? I'll try to get a list compiled at some point, but it would be great if someone has it ready to share.
Thanks
Did you ever get a list compiled?
I'd also like a list if possible
I have a question about LDD. I used older version and when I launched it there were green lines on screen. Then I downloaded 4.3.12 from non Lego site and screen is still green. Is there a way to solve this problem? I tried with LDD safe mode and it works fine
Use LDD 4.3 11, the 12 is broken
@@ZEROBRICKS All the downloads I have googled are defaulting to 4.3.12, Can't locate a download of .11
do you have instructions and a parts list for this as it looks really cool and i would like to build it for myself
there is instrucions in the descrpiion
@@karenyoung5540 There isn't actually - only a link to a file.
When I try to open the file, I'm getting a warning "3 bricks could not be loaded and have been removed from the model and 4 bricks were not placed correctly and have been remowed from the model.". Any clue what am I missing?
Please look ath this topic:
www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/177795-key-topic-ldd-new-parts/
Will it be rc?
Your a fuk1n legend
I can't open the mod file. Anyone got a good way of viewing it on an android device?
Why do you choose to use LDD and not Stud.io 2.0 to build digital models?
Because it's a much simpler program to use and I'm very fast in it.
How much do the extra bricks cost together to modify the set?
Sorry, don't have such information.
does the suspension compress the springs? because it looks like it compresses the springs
No, it does not really. Funny thing, the 42115, Lambo actually does compress the springs.
Oh thats coolt i didnt know that
Does it use any extra bricks? Or does it just use the ones included in the set?
What do you think? Maybe if the original had these bricks it would actually have the same functions?
@@ZEROBRICKS Gee sorry just asking
@@LegoMaster5197 Sorry if I sounded rude
Has anyone been able to sort out the differences in parts between the original set and this one? I can export the parts from this lxf file but they dont align with the parts list that I get with bricklink for the original set.. If not Ill continue to plug away and will upload a shared csv..
Finally got the parts and working on the build. Updating this manual along the way. There are a few parts that you don't need to order since they were used to make the "odd shaped parts" that came with the jeep
@@SteveHeyns Can you please share csv with new parts?
@@SteveHeyns hi Steve, did you manage to get a part list for the extra needed for the mod? Is bricklink the best place to source them? I haven't used it before. Thanks
how do we make the dyno?
Hi there, awesome job. Can you tell me where i can get the pieces for the upgrade? or maybe you can get the pieces and sell them.
I suggest bricklink
@@ZEROBRICKS hi my friend. Sorry I don’t don’t understand. You suggest that I try get the new pieces form brick link? Let me see if they have some page from internet

As of now, there are 0 places on the web where to find ldd 4.3.11. All links are either broken or directing to 4.3.12. So much for the dream of building this set
You can also use Bricklink Studio for this
What is the version ldd? Because my cant read 113 elements
4.3.12, the one on Lego's website is broken
I think u should make the real stearing
In LDD 129 bricks could not be loaded for me, meanwhile loading the model. I tried 3 versions. Is there any solution for this?
Use LDD 4.3.11, NOT the 4.3.12
