Although this is a very interesting topic. this one went over my head. I've heard about the modes. But have not grasp really the what's and why's about them and how they are used ect.. Did you say there were other lessons on this, like the beginning of what they are and so forth?

The F scale you played in the beginning was not a mixolydian but an ionian, you played E instead of Eb
