im getting that way in my old age as well, i think you have the right idea to take those things away especially when the kids are not being watched by their parents and its not safe for the cats and or them

I wonder why cats hold their tails differently? Some curl their tail in a tight circle, hokding it tight to their rump. Others have their tails straight up, maybe with the last couple inches flopped over sideways or over their back. Interesting!!
