There is nothing like a good ship shake especially when sitting opposite a beautiful woman. I am so happy that you are finally on a cruise ship and happier that you are sharing this with us. I hate crowds but after seeing this I think the crowds add to the port experience and the whole cruising atmosphere. Thank you for being infectious with laughter and happiness.
yes, the lights on the pool deck are cool looking. Wind and cruiseships...I was in Cozumel (old dock) on a VERY windy day, the ship did not even tie up to the dock, cause they were afraid they would "destroy it" so they ran the engines to keep the ship just off of the dock!!! Crazy!!!
Hey Alicia. My name is Teresa Lewelling and I’m from Dallas Georgia and I want to thank you for sharing this with me. I just can’t wait until the 30 of this month we’re going on a cruise. We’re going to be on the Vallard. We’re going out of New Orleans. We can wait too see the sunrise and the sunset and night.
The last time I was in Costa Maya it was very windy and squally too. So our captain docked on an inside dock which is not that company's assigned dock but he didn't want his ship banging up against the dock. When it was time to leave he got another squall and had to crank the thrusters up so hard it was actually rattling the overboard light on the Promenade deck railing. I told him about the light and he laughed but he also told me that he had squalls coming in as well and he had backed in so that he could get out easily. There is a lot more to that docking area then what most passengers would know about. The other time I was in Costa Maya there was a really dense fog and our captain was asked to blow his fog horns to help the Holland America ship find its way in and to not hit us. I too love sunrises on the ship and sunsets as well Thanks for sharing them.
How in the world are y'all not up over 100k subscribers yet? If people are reading this comment and are not subscribed, please do so! My favorite cruise/travel channel by far. Hope to meet you guys on a cruise one of these days and buy y'all a round of drinks!
U all I’m from Phoenix. So tacos are a weekly thing here and the beer . Oh yes and margaritas. Your my kind of people . Love the video can’t wait for things to get back to normal . But like u said , there are some positive things to low capacity.
Well my soda consumption has dropped to almost nothing. I am still refusing to purchase anything coke branded. But it is helping a lot I have noticed I don’t really crave sweets of any kind now.
In Mexico when drinking beer it's Salud! Great update on the current status of cruising. We're thinking to book one soon. We were in Costa Maya in January 2020 and wow what a difference! Almost a song "where have all the people gone"?
Those colors. Sunrise is amazing. Also love the sunsets. Enjoying this video. Booking CEL Edge October 2 and yes infinity balcony. Always enjoyed following along. I MUST give PROPS quality have so improved. So great. Wonderful editing Jason. Great videoing. Yet have not lost the down to earth, fun EECC.
Great vid as always and superb editing as always. Costa Maya has always been my favorite "right off the dock" port. It was kinda heartbreaking to see it so empty and lifeless. Still, you guys always make me smile! I'm keeping my eyes open for when you post Jason standing on Flowrider.... something to look forward to ! : )
It took me back to 2019....my last cruise and was at Costa Maya but we went around the port then took the trip to the beach. You pay at the door and its an 'open bar' for cold cocktails of tequila. As we say in the UK, I got 'hammered' by the time to got back to the ship. I just went to my cabin for a loooong sleep.
Thanks for posting this. We are headed to Costa Maya next year and we’re hoping things are back to normal then. As usual great shots and video editing!
I love a sunrise and a sunset on a cruise, I also love a real cold soda, but can't drink soda or anything else right out of the can, call me strange but I prefer a bottle because I have to see what I'm drinking I have a fear what could be at the bottom of that can lol Costa Maya one of my favorite ports, I always go and get a foot massage , putting in the water so the fish can eat the dead skin off feels so good!!! Wish they had that here in Texas because I would be going once a week.
The port is pretty nice. If I remember there were some very old trucks and enjoyable things to see. I don't remember how many ships were in port when we were there but trying to find my wife was an adventure. I like just walking around and she wants to see everything
Love watching the sunrise and sunset! Hopefully next time you’ll get your tacos 🌮 Less people that’s a win. I love drinking Coke too. Can’t wait for your next video. Have a fantastic week! ✨
I have been watching all of your videos and they are great for info. We are going on our very first cruise in 18 days. Going on the Carnival Mardi Gras maiden voyage out of Cape Canaveral. Any tips for a 1st timer?
Costa Maya port has a Starbucks? We are cruising in 18 days and I haven’t seen an information showing they have a Starbucks. We collect mugs and would love to have one from Costa Maya!

We were allowed into the port but couldn’t leave unless we had a booked Celebrity excursion. But this can change from sailing to sailing. This was imposed on us just two days before sailing due to COVID cases in Mexico.
Alisa, you've had a very positive influence on Jason! He used ambiance correctly in a sentence! Well done on providing sublime and transcendent guidance to your monogamistic groom on the powers of skillful parlance within a community setting... Psst, Jason, that just means you done talked real good in the video...
Can y'all smell land drastically after a few days at sea? I've heard sailors who are doing crossings can smell land before they see it. But probably that's after several weeks at sea.
@@EECCTravels Thank you for the info, I just found your channel and enjoy the content, but I was also impressed with the video quality. I assume you just some kind of handheld stabilizer?
Jason you are absolutely right! Nothing beats seeing a sunrise or sunset out in the middle of the ocean. Me and hubby can’t wait to see it again!!

If you hate crowds in ports.. next time you come to Costa Maya go to Hayhu Beach.. is super private!
So true about the sunrise and sunset
The Edge blew my mind. We are on the Apex in three weeks! Can’t wait!!
WoW, ghost town is right! So many stores closed, it’s kind of eerie. So sad.
Yeah Ben Costa Maya three times Love You video love the music more
Your videos are always good and informative.

I’m liking everything I’m seeing about celebrity. Cold soda, huge windows, the atmosphere and the fact you can do a all in package!
Yes! I love their all in option, everything about this cruise was fantastic!
Sunrise on a cruise ship is absolutely majestic….Michelle and I can’t wait to see one again soon! 🤙🏼
It was stellar! Miss you guys!!

Going to Costa Maya in 2023. I'll have to try Don Lolo's.
Great editing and content. We will be on the Edge’s sister, Apex, in November. Can’t wait. Hopefully things will be opening up by then.
The quiet sunrise segment was nice, The Love Boat ' symbol 'was funny.
I have never seen that port so empty -so weird and what a long walk on the pier to the ship!
It was super strange!

After Elisa was talking about cokes! I started singing "ohhhh baby give me one more chance!" Lmao

@@EECCTravels WOO HOO ! Expectations are high. He nailed the boogie board. AND he has the Cali surfer dude look LOL
Love your videos. What a beautiful ship.
It’s time they offer both choices, Pepsi and Coke. Like come on, break the one only tradition and it’s time to get along lol.
I tried Don Lolo cause of your NCL vlog, tbh its some of the best tacos I had in my life

I think it was this port, I remember your boys walking around with diving masks on in the rain. It was awesome!
No…actually the boys did that in Cozumel. That was an unforgettable moment!

Costa Maya is my favorite MX port of call.
Man that stinks that they're closed. My favorite spot also thanks to your recommendation after the 1st time yas went and vlogged it
Hi Cindy 👋 did you like the tacos at Don LoLo’s?
@@EECCTravels yes I loved them. It was actually one of the 1st videos I ever did for my channel(which I don't do anymore bc I was horrible at it)
That pool deck is awesome!!! That’s weird that it’s a ghost town. It Looks like a boring port day!!!
Ok you two are crazy but we are getting a great laugh out of your videos. Keep up the good work.

I am on the January 2023 cruise with y'all. I am definitely having some Don Lolo tacos! Glad to see cruising back. Enjoy your travels by land and sea!
We are going to keep them very busy that day!!
Be careful about wearing camo hat or any camo some countries or some islands will put you in jail
yall need to go on carnival.........they went out at over 70 percent capacity and no need for excursions
Party all by your selves!!
Great Video Quality. What kind of camera and lens are you using? Good job.
We use a Canon EOS R with a 24-105mm lens.
Looks amazing guys 😍😍
Alisa, I need that hat 👒
Bummer Don Lo Lo was closed. I've been there twice because of your recommendation.
What would you recommend to.do at this port? Are there any private beaches that you would recommend?
Actually the dolphins are more relaxed and not stressed by all the ppl but don’t like being held captive
What month and day was it? I was there in late january 2023 this year and it was a pretty day
Coke products is a big deal for me. that's the only thing I hated about my cruse with Norwegian was all they have is Pepsi products.
I am with you there!
I understand because I prefer Pepsi. It makes sense that you'd want what you like
You’d think it being 2021 they’d offer both choices. Like why settle with just one. Kinda childish in a way.
@@live2travel301 I work in restaurants, they have to choose one or the other. Never both.
@@joem2130 oh I know that but given today and it’s 2021, I don’t see why they can’t offer both. It just seems so childish.
It will be a while before we get back to normal.
Were the shuttles into Mahahual running? Or could passengers take a taxi into Mahahual? Were any of the beach clubs like Tropicante open for guests?

What cruise are you guys going on with the boys ( for there birthday cruise) ???? 🎂🎂@@EECCTravels
Correct...COLD COKE in a CAN is a MUST!
Should of gone to Maya Chan a great daily all inclusive. Next time in Costa Maya give it a try.
We were not allowed to leave the port unless we had booked an excursion through Celebrity. Maya Chan is on our list!
Costa Maya is my favorite port. We were just there last March, but I don't remember seeing a pool to swim in. Where is it?
It’s massive and right in the center of the port area.
Its in the middle to back section of the main port area.
Wish i was there
It’s not called soda it’s pop.
why would you not get off the ship when it hits port?
I was a bit disappointed by Costa Maya. its.. just a shopping mall.
So Mr. Sanchos or there? Which would you suggest?
They are about the same.
Is costa maya a private cruise port
Costa Maya is not a private Island.
❤️
Sorry to hear no tocos for you. Ghost town for sure. Cruise ship looks great.Have a great day. Stay safe. Cheers.!
Hi Guys, what were the rules to get off the ship in Costa Maya? Could you go into Mahahual or just the port area? Will be on the Edge in 2 weeks.
We were allowed into the port but couldn’t leave unless we had a booked Celebrity excursion. But this can change from sailing to sailing. This was imposed on us just two days before sailing due to COVID cases in Mexico.

Sad day...no tacos....
Very sad day!
Did you have to wear masks at ports when you stop
It depends on the port. They ask you to wear them when you are in close proximity to others.
Was Jason in a band?
Yep, look up RavenCamp on UA-cam
@@EECCTravels wow you guys rock!
I WOULD LOVE IT IF YOU WOULD MAKE SOME COOKING RECIPES
We are working on it. We started a separate channel called Be Careful It’s Delicious. We have one video so far but plan on more.
The cold can of coke totally sold me with Celebrity! 😄
It’s the little things…
Hello , is the pool free?
Yes, it sure is
Y'all are the only ship there why are ya parked so far out
The waters would be to shallow if they were any closer.
We need something other than coke, if you know what I mean.
Lol 😂
