Just hired my first VA for a small batch of lead gen. My mind is blown! Now I can spend my time on more high-leverage activities. Thanks for the great video, Dan.
Hi Dan. The key to outsourcing is definitely to initially train staff. Then, having clear and concise instructions is a key way to making sure staff do what you want them to do. The best free tool that works on both Windows and Mac for video training purposes is Jing. Training via video is crucial as it allows staff to follow on screen while describing tasks so that it is thoroughly understood. Great intro video to outsourcing!
Somebody 2 Hire - Virtual Personal Assistants Jing is cool but I use CloudApp.
Man you have no clue how valuable this is! Looking to hire my first VA quite soon and couldn't have came across this at a more perfect time. Thank you for this!
More challenging is finding the VA
Great video, I am a VA and sometimes struggle to say why you need one !!! Thank you
Hired x2 full time VA's two months ago based off suggestions in one of your videos...has truly been a game changer..Looking to hire more. Keep the great advice coming!
Kyle Comino give one of them access to your inbox. Have them filter and only tag/label stuff that you need to be involved in. That's next level.

You got it! I'm on it.
Just starting with a virtual assistant. The plan I selected allows me to use my project management software. It’s been a slow start due to not suing their system, but I think it makes sense in the end. It would be fine to use their software for now, but as we scale, I think it would be a mistake. There has been a little confusion about who’s assigned to what, but I think we got through that after a couple days. Also, we’re using a pool with a dedicated manager. It would be preferable to have. Dedicated assistant, but we’re not ready for that.
Thoughts from those who are more experienced with using VAs?
Absolutely love this guy! Great video 💯💯
Thank you Dan - this is excellent!
Thank you!
Great video! You explained it really well!
🙏🏼
Well said Dan...Just found you this evening.
Nice to e-meet you Cary!
You mention tools you use to manage the VA but I don't see them listed in the description of the video. Can you share what they are? I like that you mention DOD your process sounds very Kanban-ish. Thanks for sharing the content.
Adolfo Foronda the tools I use are:
- Playbook (SOP's / documented processes)
- Trello
- Voxer

Hey Dan, is it playbookhq.co ? thx and keep up the great videos
Jonathan Decker the Playbook is a documentation framework I created that I teach my coaching clients / nothing online but you can read these books to learn:
- E-Myth
- Checklist Manifesto
- Work the System

Awesome! Thanks a ton Dan
Hi Dan, you said you would list the password access tool in the description, however I don't see any. Can you send please?
Great video, Dan. Bought the Business Freedom Program and am loving it. Going to do a session with my direct reports. What is your favourite access control system?
Graham Robins awesome! I use 1Password Team Edition
Hey Dan, great video. Been following your content since Chris Cooper had you on TBB webinar. Any chance you could list the productivity apps you eluded to in the video? Cheers
CrossFit Hutt Valley listed below but I'll try and do something more indepth and link up soon.
Sweet as, thanks mate.
Need a virtual assistant? Hired one in the past to be disappointed? You were probably missing these 4 critical things.
Hi Dan, awesome video as always! What online tools are you using at the moment?
Dan Martell this is so awesome as you know we are growing fast this is the top thing on my mind right now. Where do I fin a VA? Any recommendation. Have you tried zirtual?
Hi Sam, my agency creates opportunities for clients to get away from 'grunt work' every day tasks. Dan would likely agree that training is by far the most important part of outsourcing and delegation. If you train someone they will know how to do what you do, and really there's no way around it. It's all about how you pay attention to your staff. You get what you put in.

Somebody 2 Hire - Virtual Personal Assistants can you train and provide a highly technical person to handle WordPress related support?
Hi Dan! Thanks for the video! You convinced me that I need a VA. :)
Regarding PW managers, I have been looking into different tools out there but have run into the same problem with each of them. There is no real way to hide a password. Anyone can simply 'inspect element' and see the password that you have shared with them though 1password, dashlane, etc. Any advice on this?
1:55 - step 1 [manage] ACCESS CONTROL (passwords)
Step 2 - start with delegating purchases!
Step 3 - delegating research
Step 4 - use an online project management tool
This just saved my virtual scaling life that turned into a nightmare. This channel should be called clarity.fm lol
Hi Dan, how exactly do you give access to your credit card or account so your VA can purchase things on your behalf - in places where they physically need to enter CC details and CVN ?
What are the ways around proving full cc details ?
Helen, I use 1Password.com team edition.
Hope that helps.

It sounds like you're describing Twinsy
Kurt Braget not following you?
