The network connectivity problems line is so great haha
The best followed by stop poppin
@Crab in A Top Hat they said it made them mad as a joke lol. they werent genuinenly mad
I remember when that episode first aired and I heard it for the first time and I laughed so freaking hard
3 skin, 5 skin, 4 skin all killed me😂
The writers even said they hate Chris because "he improvised the best joke in the entire series".
I love the fact that Andy is so entertaining to watch and so good at explaining movies that Donna starts crying
The fact Chris Pratt has dealt directly with the reality stone is hilarious
@@user-dq3ou4cr5l ...that's a preeeetty good band name right there...
And actually worked with Rambo in the Guardian movies!
@@johnpollard7329he worked with Sylvester Stallone? I should probably see the movies. I don’t know lol
it's funny cause both him and ant-man are in the series
@@Booklat1 I forgot Paul Rudd was on the show! I think he ran against Leslie
"Leslie, I typed your symptoms into the thing up here and it says you could have network connectivity problems" remains the greatest line ever delivered in television history. How did everyone keep it together??
Either they said this in an interview or it was in a deleted scene, but apparently everyone started dying when he said that. I heard it was considered one of the funniest things to be said on set at that point.
I was dying that’s hilarious
Pretty sure they all start laughing in the original clip, this just cut it out.
improvised doesn't necessarily mean it was the first take of it. a lot of famous "improvised" lines are actually just something that was thought up on the day of filming, but they were made to repeat it because it was deemed funny enough.
Because of that one shot I started watching Parks & Recreation
Andy acting out every scene in his favorite movies is actually how humans told stories for millenia, so it's oddly really wholesome. 😆
The “that’s subtext; he doesn’t say that” sent me lmaooo. Completely forgot about most of these episodes and now I think I may need to get a Peacock subscription to rewatch
@@ArashiKageTaro That's how i first "watched" T2 and Matrix. Someone told me the stories.
* "I'm like a elphant, okay? If I walk ina- a room, iss like. . . "okay, he's- in there. . ." is my favourite Parks and Rec quote, nothing will ever top it
Bababooie

Rob Lowe said on the Parks and Rec recap podcast called Parks and Recollection that that “stop pooping” line was when he knew he wanted to stay on the show for the long haul. They originally brought Rob and Adam Scott on for a 6 episode trial run to kind of see if it was a fit. Rob spoke at length during the recap of this episode how he thinks this episode was Parks at peak Parks. To have the stop pooping line and “network connectivity” line come from the same episode is honestly insane. But he said his “stop pooping” line and the laughs it got from everyone around the room and how much they loved it was when he knew the show, set, writers, show runners, cast, everyone were a special group. Good thing too. The version of Parks with Chris and Ben is the version of the show everyone remembers and thinks back on the most I think. It felt like the end of Season 2 and into the Harvest Festival arc of Season 3 is when this show was just off to the races. For my money, this ensemble cast is the best ever assembled in comedy.
Totally agreed. The P&R cast was next level. I can't think of any other TV comedy with so many incredible characters all portrayed so well
Honestly flu season is one of my favorite eps of all time, totally changed the game for park and rec probably what saved the show
@@thatpineapplefrost Rob said, when discussing this very same episode, that if he had to pick ONE episode to show someone to sell them on it, this would be the one. Stop pooping and particularly network connectivity problems were both improvs and they’re both iconic lines for their characters. Mike Schur has famously said the network connectivity line honestly made him and the writing staff mad that they’ve never thought of a joke that good lol. I can see why Rob remembers this episode so fondly. Iconic. I could rant about Parks all day, but honestly the cast AND the writing staff was just insane!
Mark brendanawicz was the worst of the cast, glad he left
I need to listen to this podcast!
"Do I look like I drink water?" I'm STILL laughing😂😂😂
7:45 I love the fact that Payton Oswalt’s improv became the actual intro to the new boba fett show
OMG I DIDNT EVEN REALIZE THAT That is actually amazing
Donna has the least amount of lines but everything she says is gold 😭
So true!
This is whilr i love "donna meagle is a mood" compilations
I heard that the scene when everyone was wasted everyone was basically trying to do stuff to make Amy Poehler laugh behind the camera (that definitely explains Nick Offerman dancing w/the small hat to Flo-Rida). Genius ;-P
I’ve heard that too! I know a lot of shows like this they try to make eachother laugh all the time so I can’t imagine the shenanigans that happen on set and how fun it would be
The nose kiss and the slap from April kill me
Department of Homeland Obscurity is actually a sick band name 😂
So is Jet Black Pope
Jet Black Pope as well
The snake juice is probably my favourite moment of the entire show. I had no idea it was improvised!
Everyone was funny during that whole Snake Juice scene.😂😂😅
It’s probably my absolute favourite scene from the show
Amy Poehler is one of the best actors at being drunk. It's hard, but, maybe because I was a bouncer at an Irish pub, her performance was sooo accurate.
@@zappbrannigan83 her bit has become an inside joke know amongst my friends. “You don’t even know ONE thing I didn’t even say ONE thing and she asked me the WHOLE thing and I didn’t even do it ONCE!” 😂
@jamied6073 I also love Sweet Dee drunkenly hitting/protecting the young kid driving to the grand canyon in Always Sunny.. I have been that confused, awkward teenager
@@zappbrannigan83 Omg, I love it’s Always Sunny and that episode is hilarious!
Cutting to Swanson dancing drunk on snake juice will forever be the funniest thing ever
“I have to get ready for the Chamber of Secrets.” “Commerce.” Was that improvised? Still cracks me up every time I see it!
No it wasn't, that was scripted. "Network Connectivity Problems" was improvised
@@ncr_official_2189 yes I know about the network connectivity problems 😁 I saw the PaleyFest interview years ago where one of the creators (Mike Schur?) revealed that. But since the Chamber of Secrets scene was included here I wondered if that part was improvised since it’s a different scene.
@@ameliesayshola8854 nah it's just there for context
"TAKES the esophagus OUT of the neck area...
You can't eat. You'll starve to death"
KILLS me
Killed that guy too
The fact that he knows the difference between an esophagus and a trachea surprises me
Kills most people.
That's what happens when you can't eat
"STOP. POOPING." we've all been there.
So true!😂
Patton Oswalt just going off about Star Wars while it dawns on everyone in the room what is happening is hilarious
And the fact that part of it turned out to be accurate is crazy
@@venomgames1077 Disney had to call him up when it was time
There is a longer version of it somewhere out on the interwebs. It was brilliant.
I love how Jamm leaned forward when he got into Episode VII ideas 😄
The deleted scene where Andy listed 100 band names is improv?!? WOW…😂
everyone getting invested in andy’s movie stories makes me laugh so hard
Turns out almost all of my favorite moments were improvised. Hats off to the amazing cast
“My body is like a microchip, a grain of sand could destroy it” * storms out of the room*
April's threats = best scene ever.
Well Boba Fett did crawl out of the sarlacc pit... Disney does now control both Star Wars & Marvel. Patton Oswald is a prophet lol
He is such a prophet that Disney already owned both properties and that's why he said that. Plus Boba Fett leaving the sarlac pit was talked about so much by fans.
THIS!!! 😆😂
Boba Fett crawled out of the Sarlacc Pit Years ago in the SWEU.
@@derisgaming9773 right, in the fan fiction. Litteraly everything has happened in fan fiction
Patton has a writing credit on that episode I believe..
Honorable mention for the deleted Kim Kardashian bit, the cast’s reaction always gets me 😂
8:38 this whole scene is a wonderful sequence of gold acting. Everyone in his own league/character. It's like a symphony. Really amazing in its subtleties.
1:30 : is by far my favorite Ben Wyatt moment. I laugh so freaking hard when I see this! 😂
Baba booey
'Stop. Pooping.' is quiet genius 😂😂😂
You can see Poehler's actual disgust at Pratt being naked.
Cuz he was wearing skin colored underwear for all the other takes, and not getting the reaction he wanted from Amy and Rashida, he then took off the underwear and that's the take they used in the episode.
His Rambo voice is the greatest.
Never forget when MODOK correctly predicted The Mandalorian
“Do I look like a drink water?”
1:23 'i'm like an elephant , okay ? : when i walk in the room it's like yo he's in there' is one of the funniest things i've ever been blessed with witnessing
Baba Booey: It originated on the Howard Stern radio show in the 90s, when executive producer Gary Dell'Abate was discussing the cartoon Quick Draw McGraw and, in an attempt to say Baba Looey, McGraw's sidekick, Dell'Abate misspoke, thus, Baba Booey was created.
Ba ba booey gets me every single time
Jamm and Andy were totally invested in Patton’s story. “ this is way more interesting than the topic we were originally here to discuss. Tell us more…”
The fact that this extemporaneous plot for episode VII is better than ACTUAL Episode VII makes me weep.
Okay but 0:37 "Death of a scam artist" is an awesome name of a band
I actually really like "Handrail Suicide" as a band name lol
nothing rhymes with orange as a band name kinda slaps tho
2 doors down and just the tip are the funniest names for a band!!
Wait...did Patton Oswalt ad lib the beginning of the Boba Fett show?
Im like 90% sure thats what favreau based it on haha nice easter egg
Isnt that just an obvious reference to Episode 3?
@@krewd6466 or maybe the extended lore
8:20 the reality gem does not allow you to jump between different realities. It allows you to alter the reality you are currently in. The Infinity Stones do not affect any reality but the reality they originated from.
Thanks ben
We all know that it is the Space gem that does that.
Chris Pratt's actually really good at improvisation!
Dude Andy’s band names are hype
2:54 that poor guy, never knew he would have the best 10 seconds of his life
5:30 Aubrey Plaza was actually trying to hide her smile there.
Not the filibuster literally predicting the book of Boba Fett
STOP POOPIN IS ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC MOMENTS
Donna during Road House kills me
Wonder if Pratt has ever done the Stallone impression for his father in law 😅
"Do I look like I drink water?" 😂
Omg they took his suggestion for the boba Fett series! Too bad they didn’t combine marvel and Star Wars though 😂😂
How all the guys get steadily more wrapped up in the filibuster. 😂😂
1:18 For the drunk people
Leslie: Crying
Tom: Ego
Ben: the most drunk out of everyone here
Andy: Chris Pratt’s beautiful voice
April: *raging in foreign language* (idk what language this is)
Ron: the best Ron clip ever
Spanish.
@@parryyotter thanks
I speak Spanish and I’ve only ever been able to pick up like two words of what she says 😂 the rest is gibberish
@@adrianadominguez7586 Why am I not surprised? 😅🤣🤣🤣
Wich episode is that?
At a certain point I feel like Andy's band names were names of improv troupes he's been part of
'God Hates Figs' is hilarious on multiple levels
god i love this show
Chris Pratt’s brain. What a place to be.
Nick Offerman dancing is such a joy. 😂
I never noticed Jamm immediately raise his eyebrows in interest when Patton says Star Wars.
Scene 5 was Leslie in FULL Michael Scott.
The water fountain scene hahahaha
tom’s i’m like an elephant line takes me out
Department of Homeland Obscurity is amazing.
“They come up to him like ‘are you John Rambo’ ‘…..yea’
Andy doing movies is one of my favorite
ok but Department of Homeland Obscurity is gold
Andy recapping movies needs to be a while podcast
“Is that the buffalo meat one?”
6:59 Book of Boba Fett literally copied Patton's Boba Fett return pitch.
Andy carried this show! And to know that some of his best lines were improv goes to show how immensely talented Chris Pratt is. Someone make him a star, LORD!
Pun intended!😂good one!
I’m guessing Andy’s band name list is probably inspired by the Monty Python sketch called “Rock Notes” and maybe Spinal Tap’s “official history” but even if it is, it’s still really funny and feels completely natural for his character.
1:46 I’ve never realized she is kind of speaking spanish lol “como las mexicanas en la pizza a la derecha de mi casa”
I think Chuck Lorre was basically like “Chris gets no script, just act like yourself”
And he cuts Hannibal Lecter in half😂
That's so unfair though. Like Hannibal Lecter is a scary guy but you can't just put him up against lightsabers and act like it's fair!
ok after learning what that cage thing is that scene is 10x funnier now.
1:36 farts and poop and love and stuff.. macaroni sfheegyoo.. lol a bop
Chris Pratt must be a pretty fun person to work with. Watching all bts footage from MCU and all footage from Parks and Rec, be it bts, his every scene or improvs, he looks like the funniest person to work with. I will become a movie director to create a movie called "Burt Macklin: the Star Prince" and it won't have a script, it will all just be Chris Pratt, being Chris Pratt for 2,5 hours.
There were some pretty dope band names rattled off.
death of a scam artist is kind of a fire band name
I always thought Chris Pratt was the best on this. Long before he became an action hero. He was overweight and f****** hilarious!😂😂😂
I also need to give a shout out to "stop pooping". A great line we can all identify with I think.
That "God Hates Figs" line hits a little different now huh
😳
I'm kinda scared how similiar the Star Wars thing in Filibuster is to the show Boba Fett
So much hope and optimism for Star Wars… I remember those days fondly
Teddy Bear Suicide actually sounds like a great band name
Ron wasted is the greatest thing I've ever seen 1:50
I bet that symptoms bit from andy was chris trying to get the webmd results but the prop computer wasn’t actually connected to wifi
andy singing drunk like pearl jam; FAAAARTS AND POOP AND LOVE AND STUFF. MACARONI SALAAAD.
no improvisation can ever beat the network connectivity issues line
Ron dancing
Wait so Chris Pratt improved being naked in that scene? Or Ann's line "why are you naked?" was improved?
They did earlier takes where Pratt was wearing a "sock". That take he took it off and was actually fully nude.
Department of Homeland Obscurity sounds like a band or album I'd listen to
Second. Also, remember Rob Lowe from St. Elmo's Fire? So different!!
@2:24 isnt that the guy who sells time share on Always Sunny?
half the band names actually go crazy ( i would totally listen to rad wagon, death of a scam artist, and handrail suicide)
Why did the filibuster guy lowkey predict the Boba Fett show????
