Everyone remembers times growing up when your parents gave you some really good advice, or offered some help, and you said "I'm a big boy now, I got this". Then you proceeded to mess up, thus learning a lesson on your own instead of through your parents experience. This is basically Esfand being Dad pally, trying to help his 13 year old fraternal twins through WoW. He has all the wisdom, love and help to offer, but the twins want to make their own way and learn their own hard lessons. All Dad pally can do, is keep loving his level 1 twins and being their for them.
So true about WoW dying. I’m one of tens of thousands of return customers. I quit in 2009. Hardcore brought many of us back. …it is the best thing Blizzard has done in over 15 years.
This two deaths are result of panic and inexperience. You can't expect to be good at the game when you started a few weeks ago and are getting boosted. There's still a long way to go for them. At least you can see small improvements. Miz did the wrong call but his play was much better than the previous deaths. Emi just panicked. Looking at their reaction after and seing they are trying to keep up with player with 10+ years of experience as newbies is actually tanking their morale. Anyway it's just fun and games and winning or losing is always content. Can't wait for Soda rage Time to go agane!
There's a bunch of things to comment on for bad plays/calls but how are they so deep inside of the cave with respawns behind them? This doesn't look like playing safe at all.
Honestly Miz Played that so well. A lack of confidence but his plays were huge until the end, and other than that one bit after the double decoy he tanked for emi several times before sacrificing himself like Gn'ar
if they handled the mobs inside the cave they would`ve survived ez, but they both panicked and they were building up threat with attacks and spells on the mobs they were running from and they pursuit you even more but it`s ok it is what it is you learn from your mistakes, mistakes = experience
There’s a question on the form to apply for the guild that literally asks about Quests in a cave, what do you do? Well, guess I know what Miz put down. “Yolo”
The stupid thing is that they duo and Miz thinks it's a good excuse to take more risks. Why not just take that advantage and use it to just completely ensure that you don't die? Every time I see them play together 'One red mob nearby' or 'Two red mobs nearby' always pops up on their UI. Why not just stick to farming around mobs your level and usually lower just to remove the risk? Oh, and avoid caves like that.
Something id like to understand is how do we EVER get a culture of players who except others in their groups and new players and such if we are selective on who people should shame or not for "lul dying". how many asmongold videos are there are of him calling people morons for dying and then over analyzing everything people did wrong? I get that asmongold is a friend so its obviously going to be different when somebody like you analyze his actions, but if we truly want to change mindsets, i think its important to be consistent and target all types people being toxic to those who made mistakes that anybody makes during hardcore. Asmon can obviously do what he wants and he is probably not alone, but this content breeds more and more people who are just going to nit pick and be toxic and baddger people for being "bad". and if one of the biggest wow streamers is doing this sort of thing, why on earth would a bunch of randoms ever stop?

the sad part is that the biggest mistake they made was attempting to run. They obviously could have done things a lot better when attempting to run but they didn't need to run in the first place. There was only 2 mobs left a live when they decided to run. Miz had nearly full life and EMI still had 1500 mana which is more then enough for a couple of heals. They could have easily just fought it out and been fine. They were also on a corner vs 2 casters so it would not have been that difficult to just corner peak the casts the mitigate damage not that they would even have needed to do that to survive.
damnn, its sucks, but from what i see from the vods, miz letting go 1 low nagas with very low hp (classic), emi back then literally had 1.4k mana jesus christ its not "out of mana" or "i dont have enough mana" thats literally enough, miz told emi to run, but after they killed 2 nagas, they literally shouldve just stay and i think miz knew it, so miz told emi to "stay here, stay here" but i think shes panicking, so emi still run and pull another one and miz knows whats gonna happen so yeah they just run with all the respawn outside, but still whyyy, ahhh theyre just bad like bad bad
They honestly need to just learn how to play their classes and what's their classes limitations, instead of getting boosted to level 40 after they die. As someone new to wow and learning the mechanics as well, going at things at your own pace and watching guides would really help these two a lot, and they have so many good wow players who would help them learn their class too. They both fucked up here and I can't wait to see Soda's reaction to them dying AGAIN lol
Hardcore for Diablo makes sense but for WoW, it's sooo much time lost to just wipe a character and die to something stupid in a raid or something. is going to die at 60 to either people hatching too many Whelps on Onyxia, or some dumb bug charge in AQ that one shots people. There are just too many mechanics in the game that are cheese. Everyone should just get excited for Season of Discovery.
I agreed the toxic simpleton BS has to seriously stop. From constan shitting to people backseating how people should play it. Freaking wierdos are ruining everything. Some people doesnt realize how brutal places like caves in HC classic is + the rng mob spawns.

at this point they might as well just duo with miz on druid and emi as warrior. at least miz would have some knowledge of his character, and it wouldn’t really matter for emi since she’s new anyway.
1000% agree with you. Really cringe seeing people hate on Miz for these deaths. I do want to add though; I dont think HC is the best way to enter WoW. Especially when other peoples lives depend on you in some situations. This is different for streamers who play with other streamers though of course.
It's just a hype thing since so many other people are playing it. And classic WoW non-hardcore is just watching multiboxed mages kill every camp. Theres also no one to do groups with in classic vanilla WoW.

Miz and Emi should play with Simply and one more player whos actually good to level. Both Emi and Miz haven't learned enough about the game to go all in on HC.
They can do whatever they want, it's a game but people like Soda or other streamers shouldn't have high expectations for them, pressuring them to rush to 60 to raid.
Runs against 2 mobs?! He can just LOS both casters and win easily. Not to mention he calls to run and doesn't hamstring a single mob on the way out? This class is too hard for him.
It sucks for both but it's miz pulling being an idiot. Emi doesn't really have much control over that so ofc she gets more sympathy. They literally were fine but Miz decided to run through respawns out of a cave for no reason.
This is a game knowledge/sense gap. Making the decision to run and then pulling way more mobs than they would've dealt with if they had just stood and fought. Livable.
They are both equally bad, they never been in stressful situations. As Esfand said, no gamer sense. @@minecraftminer59mineboymin38 pretty sure if you watched the Vid then you can hear a likely reason as to why he was calling to run... But hey if you can't take the time to watch it then thats on you.
i dont have to watch it, i see hes stupid@@Mac_Lir
This video made me sub. Humble dude I also just started playing again after a few year break
RIP to the LionHeart Helm you shall be missed
He left it in his inventory? x_x
I have never really gotten into wow, but the OnlyFangs thing has given me a desire to watch more of the content. Reminds me of the old Gta rp with Kevin Whipaloo and Cornwood.
life of kevin :)
They were safe inside the cave. The big mistake was to run away and aggro all those mobs.
Emi was not out of mana when they where in the cave and there was only 2 mages pulled by that time, the decision to run was så BAD and so obvi not to do
Super hard to die as 2 players when you have a priest. If you get overhwlmed you spam bubble and renew while the Warrior tanks it. Shadow word pain and wand, and aoe fear if you get in trouble as a last resort. With 2 players you can kill like 8 mobs at once, especially with a Warrior. Just gotta tough it out and keep fighting, but I guess they're not that experienced with it. I was in this cave grinding for like 1 1/2 levels solo without an issue. You just gotta all-in and don't stop moving or you'll get respawns. But I mean, I died at 56 on the frozen lake in Winterspring with that damn patrolling elite elemental, so who am I to talk. 😂
I do not understand why they are not running the same way they came in and started to panic when there was just one mob alive when they started to run, this is so dumb to " run away " from 1 mob towards 12 mobs XD
If you feed a wild animal, they will not know how to survive in the wild.
Nah I feel bad for Miz on this one. Yes he should have hearthed but that's just hindsight at this point.
Damn that suck but thats what happens when you dont play your class until lvl 40
W Esfand standing up for Miz and holding Emi equally accountable.
yea
So true about WoW dying.
I’m one of tens of thousands of return customers. I quit in 2009.
Hardcore brought many of us back.
…it is the best thing Blizzard has done in over 15 years.
ok when the tank says RUN you RUN dont stay in the CAVE with a add on you looking for the one that told you to RUN
OH BOY LEVEL 43!!!! TIME TO GO QUEST IN A CAVE WITH HIGHER LEVEL MOBS! - Probably Mizkif seconds before disaster
I feel like my teacher just told off the whole class for 15 minutes because one naughty kid couldnt shut the fuck up lol
Can't wait for Soda rage
Time to go agane!
The decision to run out when they only had two casters left to kill... was just bad, and the reason they died.
if they handled the mobs inside the cave they would`ve survived ez, but they both panicked and they were building up threat with attacks and spells on the mobs they were running from and they pursuit you even more but it`s ok it is what it is you learn from your mistakes, mistakes = experience
There’s a question on the form to apply for the guild that literally asks about Quests in a cave, what do you do?
Well, guess I know what Miz put down. “Yolo”
Avoid them at all costs.
Cause if they did that chat would not spam o7 at every single pull because there would be no danger involved.
So instead of trying to beat those 4 mobs they decided to run through another 6 to try to escape frostbolting nagas
Asmon can obviously do what he wants and he is probably not alone, but this content breeds more and more people who are just going to nit pick and be toxic and baddger people for being "bad". and if one of the biggest wow streamers is doing this sort of thing, why on earth would a bunch of randoms ever stop?
sounds like you need to get good. coddling people never works
@@moroth9541 I think the most frustrating thing about the whole 'trash talk' situation, is the losers that are dishing it out are on the whole failures in every single aspect of their lives. But I guess in some ways that makes it easier to just ignore what they say and move on.
It's insane that they can't hit 60 even after being hard carried and handed bis gear and enchants
At least they made it that far. Ive died 3 times at level 10. Im psyched that I got a lock to 11 and im being super cautious lmfao
Holy fuck is that a lionsheart helm on his bar? PLEASE don't tell me he died with that
He had a lions heart helm and Kang the decapitor axe in his bags.
I think most people shitting on miz are not serious but there will always be some that actually hate him and would still say fuck miz even if he cured cancer
They died together RIP they both go again together
A bigger truth has never been tuthed! Good statement at the end of video.. watch till the end!
Emi has never had to cleanse because she was carried to level 40......
They could have made it if they continued killing in the cave, Emi had plenty of mana.
The Dumb Ways to Die song was very apropos.
Asmon prolly going to tell them to man up also. Cause some times running is the worst thing you can do. They ran in to so much getting out of that cave.
Running from two mobs with 1,3k mana…
dude all the hit he received in the back might explain his death XD
they just didnt have the skill and experience to determine the situation accordingly, since miz could have just deleted those 2 caster mobs
It's just two people who are fairly casual WoW players... Nbd, shit happens. It's all just content for them anyways. They'll have new characters with full BiS shit every level rinse and repeat. I feel worse for the bozo's funding them with gear and gold lol.
Yo after watching you guys all do that irl guild meeting stuff... I about died laughing when you would stand be standing next to soda and he would scream at you to get the fuck away from him.... And you would just be like "yes sir" shit had me laughing... I'm calling it now... You all need to make a TV show like "The Guild".... But call it "OnlyFangs" or something... I swear to God it would make you all movie stars.
i agree with you miz doesn't have the exp to understand that if you have a healer you need to try and make sure your heler has line of sight on you. when he ran out of the cave he broke Los and did it again after that second bottleneck if your healer can't see you they cant heal you
Not only this, but emiru called out low mana with around 30-35% a available. Mizkif didn't confirm by looking. And emiru dropped her dummy after mizkif, neither of which were called out. They both panicked, and they both made really bad calls.
Esfand or soda need to organize a panic boot camp for all the newcomers
@@sterowentUS if he doesn't have the exp to understand he can kill 3 mobs when he's warrior and has a healer then what's the point. These people getting mob tagged when 1-40 is a good time to actually learn how to play. I think the weirdest thing is that he's not a new player.
@@sterowentUS i think your right lack of exp is why this happened
@@oliverxhmllbecause when esfand essentially sat down will and cyr and taught them keybinds and movement and technique you could tell right away how much better they got, how much more confident they became. Yes, the mob tag leveling is bad, but that doesn't mean a lot of players, such as emiru as well, don't want to enjoy themselves or enjoy the game, or be good at it. Their unique circumstance presses them forward without the key experience is all
@@oliverxhmlli used to play with a very casual guild, most players were ok at the game enough to complete heroic raids back in legion. We had a guy who has played non stop since vanilla and even had server first achievement for naxx in wotlk, you would figure he was at least alright at the game by then. This dude was the worst player ive ever seen. Every single pull he would die, he was always the first to die and always had low to mid dps. Eventually i stopped playing but another bud told me they had to bench him from heroic what ever raid in bfa, he rage quit that the guild lol saying it was bs he was being benched. Playtime =/= skill..
"I feel like im going to puke"
Why is he so invested in their deaths?
Aren't we all? And he's their friend
@@Icanabaco its a videogame who gives a shit
the sad part is that the biggest mistake they made was attempting to run.
Rule #1 always clear the front if your going to do a cave.
damnn, its sucks, but from what i see from the vods, miz letting go 1 low nagas with very low hp (classic), emi back then literally had 1.4k mana jesus christ its not "out of mana" or "i dont have enough mana" thats literally enough, miz told emi to run, but after they killed 2 nagas, they literally shouldve just stay and i think miz knew it, so miz told emi to "stay here, stay here" but i think shes panicking, so emi still run and pull another one and miz knows whats gonna happen so yeah they just run with all the respawn outside, but still whyyy, ahhh theyre just bad like bad bad
Good on Esfand for calling it as it is. It's not her fault but the Emi simps have been unbearable lately.
They are always unbearable.
1:50 it's because it was entirely Miz's fault they died.
Damn dude, and they worked so hard to level up again. I feel so bad for them
Hardcore for Diablo makes sense but for WoW, it's sooo much time lost to just wipe a character and die to something stupid in a raid or something. is going to die at 60 to either people hatching too many Whelps on Onyxia, or some dumb bug charge in AQ that one shots people. There are just too many mechanics in the game that are cheese.
Everyone should just get excited for Season of Discovery.
"If they had hamstringed". Bro, hamstring does not exist in this dojo to miz. He has NEVER used it that i've seen. Not once.
I agreed the toxic simpleton BS has to seriously stop.
From constan shitting to people backseating how people should play it.
Freaking wierdos are ruining everything.
Some people doesnt realize how brutal places like caves in HC classic is + the rng mob spawns.
It's so fucking easy to avoid though, and he died at the same level at the exact same spot where he died just a couple of days ago. So there's 0 signs of improvement in his decision making. This wasn't all his fault, but he was pushing for them to go there and emi didn't really want to, he's too stubborn to learn
Miz pulling without finishing one is the issue
6:10 not that much of a risk????? Dude he was in a cave with mobs 2 levels above him as a warrior
Brotherman bill there's a big difference with doing that alone as a warrior vs having a priest with you.
@@moroth9541 the point was that it wasn't really risky. They died due to multiple unfortunate but significant mistakes.
Emiru should have insisted HARD that she get her addon situation sorted before continuing on, with ANYTHING.
1:12 bro what the... OOOOO
at this point they might as well just duo with miz on druid and emi as warrior. at least miz would have some knowledge of his character, and it wouldn’t really matter for emi since she’s new anyway.
They need another 2 healers for miz. Keeping miz alive is too OP
Theres also no one to do groups with in classic vanilla WoW.
great video man, always love your positivity
Why are they so deep in a fucking cave??!!?! content genious back to lvl 0 OMEGALUL
All those wow stream made me want to start playing for the first time, but didn't want to go crazy so classic not hardcore... really good decision I'm lvl 13 an died 20+ times !!!
Breakdown of mistakes. Didn’t pull humanoids back. Didn’t hamstring humanoids. Bad call to run
"Not that much of a risk man"
Kinda wild since theyre dead now, could say it was the ultimate risk.
i cant wait to see soda poppin about this
Runs against 2 mobs?! He can just LOS both casters and win easily. Not to mention he calls to run and doesn't hamstring a single mob on the way out? This class is too hard for him.
The amount of comments in this video that only blames miz for what happens makes me question if these ppl even watched the video at all.
definetly shouldn't have run out but like esfand said these guys aren't good at wow they just enjoy it, shit happens
yeah so they have no business playing hardcore. Hardcore is for wow players that actually have a clue.
@@voodoohex72 everyone is welcome to play any version of wow.
I know you are already gonna give Season of discovery a try, but i hope everyone else does as well. Would be great conent
Livable.
Order some pizza, it's level up party time.
They are both equally bad, they never been in stressful situations.
As Esfand said, no gamer sense.
Miz could have been in Defense stance and equip his shield, if he actually wanted to survive and run away.
I hope they go again, but they need to take it more seriously... even a pro player could die in that cave...
that's the kind of cave that as a warrior, I'm not going in there until 48 even with a healer, and never without one lol
@@drangus8818 On HC, I don't think I would ever go in this quest.
I also feel a bit of guilt, because I told Mizkif that Tanaris was boring and everyone was questing there, but it's probably because it's the easiest zone to not fuck up... not sure why he decided to go back to the same zone he died to tho... and do another cave...
