Haha. Pet has to be set to passive when you feign death to trigger the combat drop to be able frost trap. Can do the same for cheeky explosive trap bonus dmg. You’d be surprised how many classic huntards don’t know this.

Nah pet just can’t be attacking. Needs to put on passive, then feign death, then frost. If you pet is still attacking a mob it you wont drop combat to place trap. But if your feign death macro should have /pet passive in it. This is how you put traps in a fight. This is the only technique against melee on classic hunter PvP. Feign death only a 30sec cd. Sooooo he shoulda done this immediately. Then by the time they got close to entrance feign woulda be back up. Two 60 HC hunters unofficial/offical And full Tier 2 on era huntard, But what do I know.
@@capatheist You can feign, but if your pet attacks you would get in combat again, so you would need to call pet back then feign to be able to trap. It wouldn't have saved the healer though.

I think you can literally copy gear & insta level on a private server you host & be GM. ( skip mobs go straight to Bosses to practice after mastering the mobs of course) I feel like hardcore needs discord as requirement especially with randoms. Idk if they were using comms, & using other discord other than guilds with randoms so you guys don’t leak info.
