Well, when a person not overly skilled in creating ciphers makes a direct one to one character language with the English alphabet, it's really easy to decipher it. If what they created had many more or less than 26 characters, or had characters that translated to other human alphabet characters, or one character that translated to specific sounds like a "th" or an "sch", then it would take more time to figure out.
Peridea is a very obvious key to the cipher, after which it effectively becomes a crosswords puzzle on Star Wars planets, so they couldn't honestly have been surprised after episode 2. And Arcana in episode 1 with its distinctive three A's probably would have sufficed as well, so if there had been a week between episodes 1 and 2, we would've gotten a video discovering the name "Peridea".

It is interesting how these seem to be indications of different planets in Star Wars, like Dathomir, Coruscant, Corellia, Lothal etc. etc. But their apparent placement, sometimes resembling orbits around other named planets, and sometimes as the center of such orbits, seem... Odd... I mean, all of these are planets, all in their own separate star systems. Wonder what these orbit-looking rings represent or mean...
There's never only been one galaxy in star wars. There's like 5 companion galaxies to the main universe and that's cannon. The rishi maze is technically a separate galaxy.
Timothy Zahn always referenced The Chaos as a place you could get to that was part of the existing Star Wars galaxy by normal hyperspace travel (as Outbound flight did) but it was on the outer edges of the normal galaxy. I wonder if this is an interpretation of that… and that it ends up in the Ascendancy and we’ll get to see Csilla, Naporar, and Avidich.
Did anyone else notice that if you zoom in on the leading edge of the gold lines going from planet to planet, instead of a solid line, it seem to be animated with the running movement of the Lothwolves.... i wonder if that's how the hero's will travel the distance??
Well done. My kids wanted to know what all those map locations were. Now i can tell them I (with a little help) figured it out. Thanks New Rockstars, you're the best.
Dave Filoni is trying to give us what we wanted- Star Wars. He is starting to separate everything into a new era of Star Wars that’s made for the fans…. as it should have always been! I am very excited and hopeful for this new direction we are going in!
This is really cool! Is this the same language as the stone Grogu was sitting on before he got kidnapped by Mof Gideon's Dark Troopers? Well done, figuring all this out.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE the channel, been watching since 2019! And I come back every upload to get notified of the latest news, and to hear about the Easter eggs in my favorite media! Also love the deep dive and the break room! Fun to listen to while working!
Here is my thought for a best case scenario for the franchise… the culminating movie takes Din Jarin, Ashoka, Sabine, Ezra, and all characters from Disney plus with the exception of grogu to Peridia. At the end of the movie, they come back and 200 years have passed. Grogu is now 250 and we start the next chapter far in the future with no more ties to OT.
It would be awesome if Thrawn actually created his own empire in the other galaxy and used ezra to be his top enforcer. Then in the crossover movie, Ashoka and mando try to take down Thrawns empire in a galaxy far away
If this is true with Dave Filoni's movie, then it is possible to see the rise/arrival of the Yuuzhan Vong as they too are from a different galaxy. Also, amazing video with these translations
Dunno if anyone's mentioned this (there are quite a few comments!) but there are seven lines that travel throughout the map, and they all converge on Peridia. And there were seven Star Wars rebels if we count Ahsoka....
It also possible that they’re heading to OUR world. Remember ET, he used the force and he recognized Yoda saying “home, home” they could be coming to Earth
I do know Aurebesh, but this is a little different. thank you for the work! turns out very different! is this the same lettering used in the Jedi temples? I thought it looked familiar, but I might be mistaken, since the Jedi temple ones always uses a top and bottom border.
If this is true and the Mandoverse shows are going to another galaxy, it makes sense now that all these characters did not appear in the sequels. It will keep the Mandoverse shows and movies completely separated from the sequels, unless Rey’s new quest in her new movie will be to find someone from these Mandoverse shows and bring them back with her to help establish the new Jedi Order in the sequel timeline. The only character that I know that will be relevant to that is Grogu, Jacen, and Thrawn (I have no idea of the lifespan of a Chiss) as the villain. Ahsoka is probably so old or already dead in the sequels, same with most of the other characters like Bo Katan, Din, Sabine, Ezra, and Hera. I don’t know about Zeb since I don’t know the average lifespan of a Lasat. But yeah, very cool. I hope they do this. Keep the Mandoverse shows separated from the sequel timeline. Then maybe have one or two characters interact with the sequels later.
technically there always been more than 1 galaxy in the lore. Rishi Maze, unless im mistaken, is a dwarf galaxy touching the edges of the galaxy. but ive seen varius iterations of rishi, so idk
() A "long time" ago in a galaxy "far, far away" () "Thrawn calls to me from across time and space" Thrawn was transported to OUR galaxy; the narratively amusing temporal landing sites are numerous.

Great detective work! Your videos make these shows even more enjoyable!
I like how well you treat your craft. You put a lot of work into this video and it shows keep app the good work, brother.
Excellent detective work with the maps in the credits. Thanks for sharing and will be helpful for sure as the series moves forward.
4:53 worth pointing out here that I think that exact image of a Loth-wolf is seen in the Mortis arc of TCW
Masterfully done
eavoss is a mad sciecitist, what an amazing job you are doing on Ahsoka. Thanks for all of you hard work.
If this is true with Dave Filoni's movie, then it is possible to see the rise/arrival of the Yuuzhan Vong as they too are from a different galaxy. Also, amazing video with these translations
Replayed that beginning 3 times- love how excited you look!
Wow! Thanks for this breakdown! 😮✨ very interesting ❤ keep up the good work!
YES! i was hoping someone would do this
Filoni needs to start using some tougher ciphers. You're making this stuff look easy, Eric.
Awesome stuff. ... Thanks much for the time and efforts 🙏👍🤠
I hope Cal Kestis is in this new galaxy. I don't want him to die 😭
I think you're talking about Ezra because Cal is on Tanalorr, which is in the Koboh Abyss, and he is perfectly fine.
Dunno if anyone's mentioned this (there are quite a few comments!) but there are seven lines that travel throughout the map, and they all converge on Peridia. And there were seven Star Wars rebels if we count Ahsoka....
This is why I follow you guys. These videos are peak geek stuff and I love it!!
Such an impressive video, bravo my friend.
Awesome video!! Great work deciphering the runes! I cannot wait to see where Ahsoka leads us to next! 😁
You do great man this channel deserves it's success
Thank you for all that information. You were very informative.
Excellent decoding work here !
Never thought about decrypting any of the symbols.
Mind Blown!!!!
Nice work! That info was awesome! 👏👏👏😎
It also possible that they’re heading to OUR world. Remember ET, he used the force and he recognized Yoda saying “home, home” they could be coming to Earth
You guys crushed it with this video. Well done 🎉🎉
That was the most nerdy thing I've seen so far! But I couldn't look away! Loved it!
YOU seriously are THE MAN!!! Love you brother!!!
Been waiting for yall to unlock this. You are too good
Wow, the amount of research done here. Thank you.
Great video, this just made me so much more confident in Filoni.
I’m just still impressed by your description skills. 🤯🤯🤯
9:02. Yes! I'd love them to create a storyline that can completely ignore the "events" of Star Wars episodes 7, 8 and 9.
That was a really cool video. I love how you explain the basics of cryptography.
Excellent job
I do know Aurebesh, but this is a little different. thank you for the work! turns out very different!
is this the same lettering used in the Jedi temples? I thought it looked familiar, but I might be mistaken, since the Jedi temple ones always uses a top and bottom border.
AMAZING BREAKDOWN, I love that this could open up Star Wars to a whole other galaxy that doesn't tie into the sequels!
@eavoss this video is fantastic. You sir are a true scholar to Star Wars
Love the Effort and Love you put into these videos 👊🏻❤️ Thank You
You guys are the BEST!! Thank you for everything you do!!
Wow, how you deciphered all that was pretty cool!
Very interesting. I love it how this channel translates alien languages when it can
If this is true and the Mandoverse shows are going to another galaxy, it makes sense now that all these characters did not appear in the sequels.
Thank you very much for the grea video that reminded me of the hieroglyphics exhibit in the British museum
You got me with this video. Subscribed! You’re awesome.
Nicely done. Anything that displaces, removes, or sets aside the sequel trilogy is a good thing.
Thanks for the amazing work! Mad respect! 👏👏
I would love to see a whole section of Star Wars that has nothing to do with the Skywalker drama.
Great video! I'm so glad you worked through this.
I always enjoy your videos…but I gotta say, this one was extra awesome to me.
technically there always been more than 1 galaxy in the lore. Rishi Maze, unless im mistaken, is a dwarf galaxy touching the edges of the galaxy. but ive seen varius iterations of rishi, so idk
Great work decoding the letters.
() A "long time" ago in a galaxy "far, far away"
() "Thrawn calls to me from across time and space"
Thrawn was transported to OUR galaxy; the narratively amusing temporal landing sites are numerous.
Amazing details, sooo coool! Thanks
Ive been recommended so many videos saying the same things or coming up with crazy speculation but u came w the repcits. I 100% agree that the odyn planet will have smth to do with shin hati and baylan skol.
