I did a lot of this type of decorating in the 90's and 2000's looong before pinterest and internet. I still have some of them left as they are so durable! I did flowerpots, frames, chairs (!!), hanging decorations, decorated twigs, shoes, pictures, tires, and I don't know what. You name it - I did it all! Fun to see when things get re-discovered from the past😊
I did as well. Too bad I never thought to video any of the projects I took on. 😂 I remember my mom way back in the late 70’s using contact paper to “resurface” counter tops and end tables. She loved to redecorate often. I believe I gained her knack for updating or creating things on a cheaper basis. ❤
Hi sweety I'm sorry to hear of your grandma. She's in the arms of the lord. I've been through this too. I pray you are feeling better and God comfort your heart. God bless you and yours⚘️
I just can’t get over how tidy the dang Dollar Tree is….I’ve personally only seen one that tidy, and it was because it had just opened the previous week 😂
I love all of your projects but the little bee hive is my favorite and I also love the bell snowman. Thank you for all of the wonderful projects and videos that you have shared with us in2022. I hope that you and your family have a very happy, healthy, prosperous, and blessed New Year!
Long story short....I can't craft to save my life but I try every single day and I have to say with all the hundreds of people or videos I watch every day yours are the very best. Thank you so much. You are very appreciated
I love everything you have shown us today. Your tree is gorgeous. I watch all of your videos..how have I not seen it before. Thank you for the inspiration.
Many blessings to you and your family! Thank you for sharing your amazing diys ,I love them all, because they are beautiful and easy enough for me to make! 🙏🏽👍🏼👏🏼💐
I loved all of your DIY'S!!! I have 2 that I want to make soon. The container for the tree and the rug. They are so awesome!!! Thank you for sharing all of these!
time 14:18, with the bunny mat, couldnt you leave the "bunny template" on the mat and use fabric paint and spray it so the mat gets maybe easter color and when you remove the cardboard bunny template you would still have the bunny. kind of like how they spray a bleach mixture on t-shirts. may be easier they trying to cut the mat.
Love all the pieces. I can use using the monogram piece (minus the monogram) as a trivet. Use a color to match your kitchen or dining room. Thanks for sharing! Creative Blessings!
Shannon, let me first say that I very much enjoy watching your videos. You explain how and what you are doing, which makes it so easy to follow. In this video, you made the outside table using 2 large planters, glued them together at the bottom, and then put a round wood piece on the top. I'd like to know where I can get the wood piece used in this video. Thank you, and I look forward to watching more videos.
Very nice crafts. Before the dollar tree etc stores all they had in our area was 99 cent stores. I’d go there for some things but they didn’t have the quality of stuff they have now to create these types of decorative items.
@ Northern Winds, I did also!! That’s so awesome!! We didn’t even have all the discount shops/stores back then! We’d find items around our homes, sometimes ones would give things so we could create away till our hearts were content!!
I know, right?😄Edit: Sorry it took a while to notice your comment, I did not get notification because when replying to someone we need to write the name without any spaces @mamashanshan2772
This was a great video, filled with diys for all seasons, using nautical rope. My favorite piece is the doormat. It turned out great, but I think I would like to try to do it on a cream colored or tan rug and then trim off the outer edge. Love the outdoor table, the jute balls for bowl fillers, the beehive, and the hanging lantern! So many ideas to try!
If making the table for the outside, you are going to add some rocks or big rock inside to add some weight. If you don't and you live anywhere that can have heavy wind, the table will blow away.
Happy, happy New Year to you and your family from our family!🙏🥂❤️🎉 I remember most of your diy projects in this tutorial! As always, Shannon, great & gorgeous ideas! As always, thank you for sharing all of your hard work, creativity, talent, and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy, and positive! God bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇸😊
Happy New Year! All great ideas! I loved the gray sweater/ jacket with the black & white checked sleeves (that you had on in the Christmas bells videos) so cute, even though I couldn’t see the whole thing. 😃
Oh fun! Thank you for the simple explanations and ideas! I'm going to make the bee hive with my 9 year old. And then I'm going to make the table for the summer, and then I'm going to make.... haha.
The bunny mat is really cute. I feel like your bunny pattern could also be used as a reverse stencil leaving the light bunny on a darker background.🐇🐇🐇
Will you share what that is that you have your rolled vinyl on? And also where you bought your shelving for the flat vinyls. I have been looking and can not find anything that is big enough for 12x12 pieces. Thanks in advance
Oh wow...where to begin??!!! I love the way your creative mind just blooms 🌸 into these adorable finished pieces! I love too many of them and you make me want to make them all! Perhaps you’ve covered this in a previous vid, but how many of the ornaments (tree decor) did you diy? Also, what tree do you own? I love the long flocked pine needles 🌲 PS...Happy New Year, Shannon Blessings 💕
Hi i was wondering you and your mom made gnomes out of xmas trees from dollar tree i was wondering if you both could make a easter gnome from the pastel pink trees they got out and with the easter bunny ears from the dollor tree
I REALLY enjoy your videos!! ❤ I’ve been traveling the coastline throughout Florida since October. I’m going to make the outdoor solar vases w starfish. Then I’m going to make the rope coasters & initial wall hanging. Can you provide a link for the Amazon paint sticks pls.? I’ll be traveling the whole east coast & think the coastal rope designs will be adorable in my motorhome!
We don't have half the stuff yet in our Dollar Tree stores but our Dollarama Stores on the other hand, (where prices go up to $5 per item), have a whole bunch of new stuff.
What are your dogs names? We were "fostering" two found two week old babies that we bottle fed for 2weeks and they are finally getting some liquified "food". They are eating a lot more than I thought, so we might have giants in training 😊 us animal people just can't help helping 😊
If you don’t mind me asking, where did you get that glass container with a glass lid on your shelf been looking for something I can put homemade laundry detergent in
Welcome!!! So glad to have you here 🥰 Our tree is from Hobby Lobby. It was on year 4 last Christmas and we did have one strand of lights on it go out but was able to fix it. Onto year 5 next year. They are great quality trees 💗
Those solar lights can be easily fixed if they no longer work. There are 2 small screws on the back of the light , unscrew them , take out the battery, put in a AAA battery and it still will work, off during the day and on at night.
Shannon, I could not think of the name of your channel earlier. I looked up your Christmas channel, but that my be why your regular channel popped up. I wonder if industrial tin snips/scissors would have cut the carpet tile better.
Hello from Chicago! Okay, yes, I love love love your videos. So original, so inspiring. But I have a question on this one. When covering the dollar tree pumpkin you mention that you are so happy they now have white ones so you don't have to paint them. That confuses me because you then proceed to completely cover it with the nautical rope. Why would you have to paint it white if you're just going to cover it anyway? PEACE

Where is her dollar tree? Mine is never that clean and organized
And we'll stocked, with all the cool stuff, when I go can never find these things⁉️
My Dollar tree in Alma Arkansas is always extremely clean. Great job to the manager .
Me too plus the size!!! It's not fair... iowa has no big ones at all
The last dupe was spot-on! Nice to know it has lasted so long. As a pot for a tree, it seems timeless!

Marvelous diys. FYI- with the solar lights, be sure that tab is still in there or you will be getting a run down light.
I just love your ingenuity and craftiness….beautiful and very classy 🥰
Thank you for all of the wonderful projects and videos that you have shared with us☺
Great ideas with the rope. So creative and inspiring! Thanks for your video! The ideas are great for the holidays ! You are so talented!!

Lovely Matt would look great painting bunny silhouette onto the rug. Use the rug as a full-size rug. A lot work to put it on the floor.

If you don’t mind me asking, where did you get that glass container with a glass lid on your shelf been looking for something I can put homemade laundry detergent in
I think it would be handy to cut a hole in the top and add hinges to have handy storage inside the planter.
Love that idea too!
