Thank you for posting another uplifting video. You cheered me up. I spent 22 days at the hospital with my mom because she broke her hip/femur and died last Saturday. I'm very sad, but know she's not suffering anymore and that I'll see her again in Heaven someday. Can you please pray for me to help me get through my grief?

Janice, I was going to tell you that my friend takes frozen or fresh cauliflower and put it in her food processor and makes her own cauliflower rice. It is so easy and so yummy. I know the one time you shopped you were only able to get two bags of it so maybe, that could be an option for all of you.
Buy a can of Shortening (for cooking and baking) stick a wick in it., It becomes a candle. I bought 2 for storage till
needed. Don't forget matches, or lighters.

They I remember a friend who was an entomologist, travelled widely from 1960. He went to places in the world we could only dream off. He always brought something back for my children Fromm his exciting travels. One time from Africa he brought something made of wood and posed it as a challenge to us all. We had no idea what it was and then five year old said it is a lock for a grain store much to his amazement and he asked how he knew. Very simple said child they don’t lock their house, the dog minds the chickens and it isn’t a tribal mask. How simple!

I am the second oldest of 7 siblings. I say that my siblings saved me. We grew up in an abusive home but together we survived. We are still close. For a while we were all each other had. We beat the statistics. We all went to college and are doing well. We take care of our mother and each other.

I was a night nurse for many years, and then in 2008 fell and injured my back really bad. I had surgery in 11/10 and the surgeon damaged a nerve and suddenly I am forever unemployed. My husband for 20 years has delivered linens to hospitals and nursing homes. So we have lived the night schedule for 30 years and we have been married 35.
For fleas use 1 part Downey to 4 parts water. U can spray furniture carpets everything. Doesn't have to be name brand Downey. I also washed my dog's in it.
last week it was over 40 c. with the humidex my bed is in living room due to a/c but now the rains have come and the weather is down to 24 c. ish so hoping it stays like this hugssssss

Every time I hear someone from America say it’s 100, my first thought is wow that’s hot, ( which it is) but that’s cause we use Celsius here in Australia and I’m thinking 100 degrees Celsius. I’m getting better at working out what it is now. We have winter over here, most mornings it’s been about -4 degrees Celsius (24 Fahrenheit, googled it for you). Squatters are a huge problem here in Texas too. Never let anyone know you're leaving the homestead, and if uou do always have someone stay in your house; ie: family or best friends.
We live in a scary world now, and not the America I grew up in.

My little girl of 5 is ill here in the UK. Lots of bugs going around. Our temps nothing like yours thankfully, I don’t do great when it’s too hot. Temps here are varied between 61c and 78c - positively cold compared to the Ozarks and this is UK summer 😂

My Grandmother s house was empty after she went to live with her daughter. Someone broke in and stole all the copper piping and electrical wiring out of the house.

To change from Celsius to Fahrenheit I double the temp and add 32. It’s pretty close. 20x2+32 = 72 degress

Ha! Shawn is so funny! "You mean like somebody HERE on our land???" I could tell that was going to be a strong "NO"! LOL Yes, I know exactly what you're talking about. I have a rental house and sometimes people move in (Squat) when renters move out. I am not a nice person and, when I ask them to get out, they usually high-tail it right out of there. Especially when it's me and my Bull Dog (Shawn will know what I'm referring to.) Was in the hospital one time though and this girl moved right in. Had to call the police, because I wasn't supposed to get out of the hospital for a week. They scared the heck out of that gal. I guess she had just gotten out of prison and they offered to give her a free ride back. Lol She went from not having any money to giving them $600 to give me and moving out within 30 minutes. That PD didn't play the squatter game that they do nowadays. Lol Hated to bother them, but I knew the longer she stayed the worse it would get. Missouri here too.
Finally getting to watch this . We were in the cellar under tornado warning during your live. All is well some family lost power but no damage. We dont usually get tornados in New England..

There is no way you are like the Duggars! Smh... Janice actually takes care of her own children. She doesn't assign certain children to raise younger children. I can tell Shawn and Janice believe in education, because not only have they both been to college, their oldest two are taking college courses and I believe Sam may be too, I'm not sure. Their oldest daughter is taking college classes and plans on being a nurse midwife. The Duggars believe in keeping the oldest daughter at home to take care of their siblings as well as their siblings children until their parents age. Then the oldest daughter is to stay home and care for the elderly parents. None of their children have an education... and it shows sometimes in interviews. They don't know certain things that normally children their age would know. It's sad.

The older children need to have jobs to save up for things they want . Working the homestead is momma and daddy's job. The older kids need to move out of that and start lives of their own. Feel so sorry for them.
@@user-pp6bc6cq4j I don't think the older children have any interest in being out on their own at this point. Kids that move out super young are usually the ones that are having problems at home whether it be them wanting to do things that are against the house rules or abusive/neglective parents. I was out on my own at 17, but my sons were 20 and 22yo. We all got along just fine, so my oldest son lived at home and went to college. He moved out when he graduated. Saved dorm rent and stayed away from all the drinking and drugging, so he could study. Graduated high in his college class. The second son moved out and moved in with a girl, put a down payment on a house. He had saved the money for the down payment by living at home rent-free. Everybody does things a bit differently, but I wouldn't feel sorry for the older kids. As you probably well know, if they weren't happy they would be out of there!
I'm one of 6 kids from my family an I just lost another sibling last Tuesday. She had 2 strokes an was told she had stage 4 cancer in most of her body in less than two months. It's still hard to except everything about how fast this happen

Im from Scotland and im just getting over covid nearly three weeks till i tested negative. But i still feel awful. Its been rather different from the first time i got it .
My daughter wanted to eat cheeseburgers for her birthday at a restaurant in our town. I spent $100 on 5 burgers and fries. No drinks because we ordered to go. I miss when you could get a whole burger meal for $10. Sigh 😞

Allergies can make you very, very sick Respiratory wise and then the drip upset your stomach because it’s running down the back of your throat down in your stomach. I work in the medical field and we have seen lots and lots of patience with allergies that have made them very, very sick that have been hospitalized so most likely that’s probably what’s happening in your area, just drink lots and lots of water that’s the best thing, also keep your hands washed very well and try to keep them off your face. You can go your whole life and have no allergies and then one day wake up and bam bam you you’ll have allergies also while you’re talking about temperatures other than Salt Lake City, Utah and we hit 101 today
I was brought up to never discuss religion or politics in company it just causes trouble. I meant to say I've noticed Sarah and you seem very close, you seem to get on so well. By the way when i say Scotland i mean the UK. Ps i have a love of books since i was able to read last count i had nearly thirteen thousand but mine are fiction and non fiction i love biographies and murder mysteries.

(from Shawn) Yes, we have wolf urine for the exterior fences around the livestock. We've never had coyotes that close to the house since we have livestock guardian dogs that would not allow it.
