nutella.thursdayy I have a mermaid tail they are quite expensive but I got mine from fin fun and when you by the tail you have to buy the monolingual so you can put it at the end of the tail so it's stiff and you can swim

I would love to be a proffessional mermaid but I wear glasses and my vision absolutely sucks and as far as I know, there haven't been waterproof contact lenses invented yet

contacts work fine underwater! you just need to be careful when blinking, they can fall out. everything is blurry underwater though but i think thats for everyone correct me if im wrong. :)

I wonder if its humanly possible to modify someones lungs to be gills and to have them actually live underwater. That would be awesome. They wouldn't be able to go anywhere much though. But, they could make a huge aquarium, and people could scuba dive there so they wouldn't be lonely. They would even put little fish in there to look at. I think way to big. I have a problem, sorry.
If it was yet, there'd probably be a news story about it somewhere. I mean hell there's even the tiniest ever chance of it happening naturally by some mutation in genetics but there's a high chance sadly that the person would either suffer health problems as a side effect or be very cruelly ridiculed, perhaps even told that they shouldn't be alive. There was a little girl who was born with her legs fused together like a mermaid after all, and despite being alive and a strong little sweetheart there are people who told the parents that they were cruel for letting their daughter live.
Human skin needs to breathe and oxygen plays a huge part in the respiratory system. It's more than just lungs, but in the future it could be possible.

It actually is really hard to be a pro. mermaid. I wouldn't know, but I do have a silicone tail.
They had a whale of a time, but the mermaid bass was a bit shellfish by not teaching the maids by not letting the pearls rock their squidtacular tails, but it shouldn't come bass a surprise that another girl was jellyfish of the other girls tail.

In salt water it isn't as bad as chlorinated water. Salt water is closer to the composition of your tears and so it doesn't bother your eyes as much.
Also, if people actually showered before getting in the pool (and didn't pee in the pool) even chlorinated pools wouldn't be too bad. There's a reaction between the chlorine and certain things in your sweat (and especially pee) that is what makes it sting so bad.

Cool! Thanks for this. Now that Disneyland no longer has mermaids swimming in the (former) Submarine Voyage lagoon, I thought you had to go to Weeki Wachee, Florida to see a mermaid show. Chantelle Adlington oh, that makes more sense. I went to swimming lessons with my parents when I was a baby, so I can swim from that. I've been swimming for a long time and still have to "doggy paddle", but that's mainly because I haven't done lessons in 3 years. Just remember the ocean is much worse than a pool, you don't have any control.

She struggled and looked uncomfortable and based on comments backed up a lot of ignorant people beliefs. And I'm sure they could've found a black female who enjoys swimming.
+TokkaFan41. Ok guys really? I'm a black female and totally get what he is saying. Despite if Michelle is more active than Dot, you can clearly see she was more comfortable with swimming. Being more active doesn't determine if a person can swim or not. If he felt that Dot strugglling was a buzz kill then he has every right. She isn't the spokesman for all black people but I'm tired of black people pretending there aren't people who strongly hold on to sterotyping when race is involved. And he is just stating, they could've shown a black female who clearly enjoy swimming and a decent or strong swimmer.
It would've also kept up the energy. I my self cringed and felt bad watching her struggle.
Even if the person was of another race it would've been hard to watch someone try something out of their comfort zone and struggle at it.
