@@rainsong7327 Thanks! It is different, thats for sure. Also watch out for the difference in depth, 18" is different than 14" as well! Ive been practising playing the way that beater is not buried in the head after the hit - this helps with playing 24" kick.
Snare sounds amazing 2! I just ordered these same sizes minus 18” floor Tom. I can’t wait. I have a bunch of vintage kits but wanted a more modern shell with the sizes I play the most. Pro Beat was it. Can’t wait to try it. Your tones and drumming sounds great! Thanks
I have this exact kit. They don't look quite as yellow as they do in this video. Sound wise, however, they are every bit as good as they are in this video!
Great demonstration my friend, can you tell me what batter head you have on your bass drum and if you have any muffling inside?? I have the same set up and currently have a Remo Powerstroke three and I’m not in love with it yet, thanks
Hi Clint! They are tuned quite low, batter heads are on the edge of getting rid of the wrinkles, bottom heads slightly higher. Also the bigger the size the less wrinkles is visible after pressing the head with the finger on the center of the drum: so the 13" is very loose (too loose and too low on this video for my taste), 16" has some wrinkles and 18" has none. You're right - this kit might be tuned too low for acoustic sound only but thats not my target at all. I always play with mics, both when I practise and during the shows. I usually play heavier stuff with those so toms are always mic'ed up, same with bass drum. Thanks for watching!
I will bring up tone of 13" just a little bit, to matching better with these floor toms. In this case 13" sounds like 14" floor tom. Fabulous sounding kit anyway.
Thanks! 24" 30th Anniversary Ride, 21" Signature ride next to it. 20" Special Edition jazz ride above the hat. Hat was a mix of 15" 30th Anniversary with something more bright on the bottom.

@@mikedulin1325 I'll have to think about it and setup the recording gear, preferably for some cover in higher tuning. That finish is really special isnt it? Still stunned every time I sit behind it
Beautiful kit...And I love big, full, round, boomy toms...But I feel the same way...They're a little to low and muddy for my tastes...But still an amazing kit! 😃
Ok I have to say, thats the best low tuning I've ever heard EVER.
Too kind, thanks!
VERY NICE INDEED !!! Great tone as well as the playing , LUDWIG FOREVER ...
Those toms sounds like bass slides. Soo good. 💪🏻
Damn! Lovely deep tones
This is so friggin cool. Great groove and snare chops.
thanks man!

Such great tuning and playing. Masterful!
too kind! Thanks a lot!
Fantastic sound along with a fantastic drummer !!
Blessings,
Brian
Never thought I'd want a yellow drum kit but that looks AWESOME!

Thanks for stopping by and congrats on the new kit. I'm sure you will love it.
Such a beautiful kit! I love the finish...

JEEEEEEZ killer kit, killer setup, killer drums, killer cymbals, killer sound. just bought a bop kit and you making me regret that hard
Bop kits are great as well man! Thanks for stopping by!
Just ordered the exact same kit. Man, can't wait for it to arrive... Amazing playing by the way!
Sounds amazing. I love those sizes.

Love the tone your pulling out of that kit, sounds killer. Well done!
Thanks a lot Alex!
Whoo-Shaking the earth with bass drum!
Great sound and playing

Straight from the depths
Hell yeah!
Beautiful
Sounds kick ass !!!
NICE

Hey Chris, if I recall correctly, there was little to no muffling inside. The batter head was Powerstroke Dot.
best tone ever hear, im tama fan, but sounds amazing, are coated ambassadors or emperors?, thanks
Thanks! Those are emperors
Thanks for demonstrating the wide tuning range of Ludwig Classic Maples! 45 degree bearing edges on all the drums? What kind of reso heads?
Thanks for watching. 45 edges, stock reso heads. I believe they are close to clear ambassadors.
SB what size is the kick drum I’m thinking a 24 but a little hard to tell from camera angle.
Hi Lynda, the detailed sizes of the drums are in the video description, the kick is 24x14.
Cool.
dobrze brzmią te beczuszki.
How Is the year of the drumset?! I mean Is the new Maple Classic or a vintage set?
I love these! Are they 7ply shells, or 3 ply??
7 ply
Wow! Great sounding kit and playing! What camera are you using here?
Hi Jim, thanks for stopping by! Its Panasonic Lumix G7
THUNDER !!!
Is there any tension on those tom heads? Super low. Sounds cool mic’ed up, but all attack live acoustically about 10 feet in front of the kit.

Szymon Baranowski cool man. Sounds neat tuned low like that.
Damn some great sounds right here. Classic. May I ask what the room is like where this was recorded.
Sure thing. The room size is roughly 5x7 meters, ceiling at around 3.5m. Not a lot of acoustic treatment to be honest.
Damn. Sounds killer man. Some well turned cans and of course good playing. One more thing what are the heads on toms and kick?
I will bring up tone of 13" just a little bit, to matching better with these floor toms. In this case 13" sounds like 14" floor tom. Fabulous sounding kit anyway.
Nice! What is that speaker looking device in front of the bass drum?
Hey, thanks. Its a subkick - speaker with an inverted phase so it serves as a microphone.
man, I didn't think that drums could be tooned so low!
Wow Love your sound ! What are exactly your cymbal set ?
Thanks! 24" 30th Anniversary Ride, 21" Signature ride next to it. 20" Special Edition jazz ride above the hat. Hat was a mix of 15" 30th Anniversary with something more bright on the bottom.
What brand of cymbals? Great playing and great sounding kit !!! Thanks
How did you tune these? They sound amazing

What heads do you have on there? Are you using a tunebot?
Hey, those are coated emperors. I dont use tunebot, I prefer my ears.
@@szymonbaranowski2574 right on! I have a hard time tuning my CM I just ordered a tunebot might help who knows
Give me those drums!
Apex mics? they look a lot like the Apex mics I use..nice kit
Sennheisers E604 on toms, E602-II on kick, Shure SM57 snare, Shure PG81 room/OH. Thanks for watching!
wish I could afford one 🤦
Not a fan of the cymbals here, but the drums and the playing are killer.
Thanks!
No DW kit will EVER sound like that. Sorry DW fan boys but this kit puts ALL DW's to SHAME.
Drums sound good, brass....eh
Not my cup of tea tuning...too loose. These would sound magical tuned up even a little bit. Great chops though.
they DO sound great tuned higher as well, definitely. Thanks for watching Mike!
@@szymonbaranowski2574 maybe a new video at higher tuning? I love that aged onyx finish too...killer.
