  • Ingredients:
    1 or 2 Onions
    3 cloves of garlic
    1 tablespoon of chopped ginger
    2 tablespoons Awaze / pepper paste
    1 or 2 fresh tomatoes
    1 tablespoon kibbeh / spiced Ethiopian butter or regular butter or oil
    Fresh rosemary
    1 teaspoon Black pepper
    1 tablespoon or less salt,
    1 or 2 pound lamb or goat meat (preferred)
    Eaten with injera (traditionally), rice or bread.
    Also our Awaze is made from a mix of Berbere (traditional Ethiopia Eritrean pepper powder)
    Garlic
    ginger
    liquor
    olive oil
    Then kept in the fridge for weeks and months.
