I love how 'Bad Choice Road' in season 5 had a callback to this montage with the split screen with a melody of this song, only they long to get back to each other instead of growing apart.
This is my favorite montage in the show, it shows how the months go by for the lives of Kim and Jim, how they’re living through the same life of being lawyers but doing it through different paths of law. The song itself means how they’ve done something stupid. How they love each other but never admit it. In fact the moment Jim says it, it falls apart
Once they break up there is a much, much larger time skip too. Plus this ones takes 5 minutes to show the gradual change, while the one I'm talking about from S6 occurs in a second. Wild
The writing (and acting) on this show is just so damn good! This and Breaking Bad are as close to perfection as it gets. We need more shows like this to come out. Bob Odenkirk and Rhea Seehorn are two of the best actors of our time.
We started the series wondering why Saul never mentioned Kim, as it progressed, I wondered even more, but during the final season, it became clear. The final scene was something that I wished and hoped for. Hoped that future Kim would visit future Gene and they would somehow reconnect. I cried like a baby as I watched it over and over
Sopranos season 2 finale, season 5 finale and season 6A episode one I do love Breaking Bad and BCS and I've watched more times than Sopranos but the writing in Sopranos doesn't even feel like TV, it feels like it's actually happening it's so so so good. Worth checking out if you haven't. If you have, watch Frontier with Jason Mamoa.
this show is so fascinating and well written with it's characters, and can also somehow be so profoundly touching at times. It's hard to describe why this scene is so effective, but it really is so special to me.
Even if this scene was never made for Better Call Saul, it would be an amazing heartwarming, but also depressing short movie. I freaking love this scene!
I made a star wars version of this with Obi-Wan and Anakin as a tribute to director of this episode/montage and the Obi-Wan Kenobi series... Deborah Chow. (Its on my channel if anyone cares) one of my favourite scenes in the whole show.
It was all because of Kim, if she hadn't left, Saul wouldn't have gone down hill like he did. And Kim was acting as if Saul was all alone in those schemes with Howard, were she was an equal partner.
Kim admitted being just as responsible when it came down to it. Calling them poison together. Frankly, I think they were just applying themselves to the wrong business. Could have done great things together, but they each did just as well apart.
Bro I wonder if she even thought about how her snitching would affect Mike. She clearly snitched for herself. To make herself feel better without realizing that SNITCHES DIE in tht game she’s playing.. I don’t even think that she thought about that part let alone thought the whole thing through completely

The scenes where there’s water while Jimmy is dehydrated in the desert too.
This scene is heartbreaking after seeing how Kim's life turned out in the last episodes

he was suspended form law though
@ he was still making a living by doing what he does best, associating criminals by selling drop phones
I´ve said it before and I say it again: best love story in a TV show.
2003... reminds me of how this takes place after cell phones are common but before smart phones and social media.
Huel and Jimmy eating a sandwich in the van was heartwarming.
"Perfect, down to last minute detail" is the exact way to describe this scene
Makes sense since the last episode of season 6
This video just reminded me that I need to rewatch AGAIN lol. This show never gets old honestly. Easily one of the best of all time
Andrewgarfield is always trueeeee
There’s something so bittersweet about this song and montage. It’s really stuck with me ever since I saw this episode.
This scene is also the biggest time skip in the show, skipping like 9 months of in-show time
Very interesting
Didn't we skip a few years with the black and white scenes
Once they break up there is a much, much larger time skip too. Plus this ones takes 5 minutes to show the gradual change, while the one I'm talking about from S6 occurs in a second. Wild
This is the moment Kim Wexler became a Crest user. Colgate's 9 out of 10 dentists feared her because she's the 1 out of 10.
A lovely couple who enjoy having fun, aren't sociopaths and I hope nothing bad happens to them. 😊
You will be sad I saw all the 6, seasons

"with good behavior, who knows?"
Gene is well-liked by all of the inmates so it's easier for him
One of the best montages in all of tv history, paired with the Bad Choice Road one
Sopranos season 2 finale, season 5 finale and season 6A episode one

One of my favorite opening from the show. The story progression and music choice are spot on.
Just wrapped up the show 30 minutes ago, and I had to come straight here for this beautiful montage. Absolute Masterpiece ❤
I miss premium TV like Better Call Saul
Freakin loved these montages
Same
I’ve been listening to this version of the song for the past few days. It’s the perfect song for these two!
Kim was definitely a ride or die chick.
She is in Bad Boys: Ride or Die.
I dunno. She left Jimmy after Howard was killed.
@@Kenny-the-Platypusjust seen it in the movies theater it was good to see her face again
@@SECRETARIATguy224 Understandable tbf

Best montage of the BB universe and one of the best scenes in the show imo. Also, excellent song choice!
La mejor intro de BCS junto con Winner 🥺
Succession could never reach.
Lowkey could.
Even if this scene was never made for Better Call Saul, it would be an amazing heartwarming, but also depressing short movie.
I freaking love this scene!
The best montage in the show by far
This Lola Marsh's versión of Something Stupid Is the best version of the song.
This is one of my favs (there's just so many) through out the series.
We need another spinoff show in the breaking bad universe, please Vince 🙏
This is my favorite montage in the entire Breaking Bad universe 💙
This is my favorite SCENE in the entire Breaking Bad universe 🔥
This makes me cry
man i miss this characters I guess another rewatch :D
The story and characters of Breaking Bad are tough to beat but BCS is just something different man
This is amazing
The best "something stupid" version of the song ❤
This opening is a gem
This is a masterpiece ❤
Love this scene
incredible scene
Please upload the Winner Takes it all scene!
I brushed my teeth while watching this
And the best musical performance by Israeli band Lola Marsh❤
That's a lot of meals for one day
Masters of montage
I think Season 5 might have been the best season of the show :)
I love this scene
Best opener in the Gilligan Verse
Kim and Jim are slippin'
sad to see a masterpiece like this didnt get a single Emmy's. hollywood is braindead and tone deaf
Ah this Lola Marsh song is invaluable :)
Hobbs and Shaw be like:
Please make an alternative ending where Saul accepted the deal
Beatles a day in the life
Need to Call? Buy from Saul!
Beautiful I say. It’s dam beautiful

LOL

Not at all what Kim said lol

everyone involved in the howard case is dead so there’s no one to snitch about other than jimmy
First?
third
Women...
This scene is almost as cringey as happy bday ted
Huell looks so much older here.
I would give this show a 9. Excruciatingly slow pacing except parts of season 5/6 and cartel/nacho/gus/salamanca scenes.
Thats the point brother. Its all about the build up
Breaking bad was the asme way
Slow burn shows tend to be slower paced
