Not really, Walt was laughing at the absurdity of the situation and how he was completely screwed over. He had to kill an unkillable man and his wife just gave away all his money to someone she cheated on him with. I was so worried that the ending for BCS would somehow flatline. It ended up being just as good, if not better than Breaking Bad’s ending. Two of the best shows ever. Unironically bravo Vince and Peter

It reminds me a bit of the Raging Bull scene where Jake LaMotta punches the wall of his cell, while he is repenting of his actions. And obviously, it also reminds me Walter's laugh at Crawl Space.
I think seeing the writing reminded him of how much he helped criminals, and he realized he was going to be a hero in jail. At the end of the conversation he said "with me on top". He already knew he was going to jail but he knew he could be a king in prison
Until now, I didn't realize what an amazing parallel the laughing was to Walt in the crawl space. What's ironic about the Joker laughter is that he actually played the government by getting only a 7-year sentence. I feel he could've had it reduced even more, but the point of the ending was him finally proving Chuck wrong in a way. "He'll never change!" He did, at least by taking responsibility, because he knows what he is otherwise, and accepted he'd be better in prison. He's respected there, so it's not like he's gonna have a hard time. This ending was the one! More finales need to be this way. I've had too many favorite shows have lackluster finales. COVID ruined a lot of them, especially Supernatural.
1:32 this is my favourite little part in the show just how his voice slowly cracks replying the stupid decision in his head on trying to rob the mall, good on Bob for the acting right there for a small moment you can feel sorry for Jimmy.
Imagine if he didn't throw away that 7 year plea deal and had to start his life all over again (obviously he couldn't be a lawyer again and he'll have several felonies). He started from the bottom struggling, got to the top of the lawyer totem pole, and then has to start his life all over again at the bottom.
Him not throwing away the deal (or not getting caught) would be the same as Walter surviving and running away. The "book" had to be closed. Vince didn't want Season 7. It's not a bad thing or a good thing, I personally would opt for more seasons of both shows, but the actors also can't be interested forever.

Im not a cinephile, or anything, but rewatching this scene was so enjoyable. I think I've never felt something like that towards a scene, that isn't "big". You know, theres no action, just talking. I know who Saul is, I know what he did, I know the ending of the story but still, I just sat there, and I felt entertained. This show is just amazing. Everything shown in those 5 minutes is just perfect.Not saying its the best show ever, but those last 4 episodes are just pure art. Finale is just pure art, everything is here. Reusing Oakley is also a perfect thing to do - We know him, Saul knows him, and it's the last person Jimmy could count on. That colleague of his, that just got a bigger role in the world he once ruled. The scene, in which policemen look at the BCS commercial, is also great, it was unnecessary, but it was just right. It also felt close to home, because I had an exam today, and the teachers been looking at it in a similiar manner - Looking at work of some person, with such shock inside. My favourite part about all this - Finale feels, like putting all the puzzle pieces together, to finally make the picture - Directors thought so well on all this, its just the most random things that went to their minds, but it all worked so perfectly, especially the later scenes, with Oakley and Saul discussing his punishment - he mentions pistachio ice cream, which is well... green - color, which is associated with Saul's swindles. What a yapping.
