What KILLS me is that everyone is geeking out about the Action Button being programmable to launch the camera…like there aren’t TWO very quick ways to access it already by swiping left on the home screen OR the little button in the bottom right of the home screen!! 😂 ANd hey, you can even use one of the volume rockers AS A SHUTTER BUTTON. I don’t get it, man 😂

Still have the 13 Pro Max. Thinking about getting the 15 Pro Max at the beginning. I decided not to at the end as I realized there was nothing wrong with my phone. Fast performance, long lasting battery and great screen.
I have the 13 Pro Max, as well. Honestly, USB C was enough to make me order a 15 Pro Max since I’m getting tired of the lighting cable.
USB-C is also the main reason I am going to switch. However, they have included support for fast charging faster than 27W, I would have pulled the trigger.
that’s what i did i just kept my 13 pro max another year nothing about the 15 line up that impressed me hopefully the 17 pro max have a whole design change until then i will be rockin my phone

Get the 15 pro max
Only upgrade to the 15 pro/pro max if you are coming from an iPhone older than the 14 pro. If your budget is only for the normal 15, don’t buy it. Get the 14 pro it’s better. If you have the iPhone 14 pro/pro max, you don’t need to buy iPhone 15 pro, at this point your just a consumer.
Yeah they’re trying to get me 😂. And only for those smaller bezels and stupid button instead of a switch that was, honestly, perfected when it was introduced. It’s my favorite part of the iPhone and why I’ve stuck with it for years. I need to wait. Wait damn it!
I’ll be sticking to my 14 pro max. The reality is there’s not much difference and from what I have heard, the 14 pro max is more durable.

The volume bottom has always been my “shutter button” on the 14ProMax. First year I’m honestly gonna wait and pass the upgrade.

I won’t even upgrade again till iPhone 20 something. Yeah! I’m keeping my 14 pro max for as long as I can. And as far as I see it, it’ll last me around another 5-7 years or so

15 pro max feels hollow compared to 14 pro max as it doesn’t give the hefty and expensive feel
15 pro max vs 14 pro max there is a huge difference in weight. People even say it’s TOO light now.. I disagree. Perfect weight to still maintain a premium feel but also give our wrists a break
the titanium makes the phone look and feel so much cheaper compare to the steel. Cant argue with that

I had an iPhone 11 since April of 2021. I was debating on whether or not I should upgrade to an iPhone 15 Pro Max when it released in September last year. I almost got swept up in all of the bells, whistles, and hype about the new 15…I’m glad I didn’t and here’s why:
On January 2nd I finally decided to part ways with my iPhone 11 and start 2024 off with an iPhone 14 Pro Max. In my opinion it’s the last of its kind in terms of how the battery is charged. I honestly don’t like the idea that an iPhone can now be charged with the same charger as a Samsung user. I know that sounds petty & ridiculous but I said what I said and I’m standing on that lol. I feel an iPhone should be unique and set apart from the rest in every aspect. I feel like the 14 Pro Max is a cultivation of its predecessors. And since Apple will never make an iPhone with the lightning charger again due to the laws that were enforced, I feel like I can finally rest with this particular phone for a long time without having to worry or feel pressured about upgrading every few years. I’m also with AT&T so I got a pretty sweet upgrade deal…$10.99 for 36 months for an 128GB iPhone 14 Pro Max! Unfortunately I didn’t get a trade-in value for my iPhone 11, but I’m sure I can sell it on Facebook marketplace.
USB-C, including faster transfer speeds and recording video straight to SSD, is my main reason for upgrading this year. I was rocking my 2nd gen SE and didn’t want to invest more money into Lightning.
Titanium is a plus.
So less weight differents in hand, actually you won't even feel it, and 1 minute faster transfer.. Definetly not a reason to go to the 15 Pro Max.
@@Tha-King-Arthurnot gonna lie I’m thinking of upgrading to the 15 purely because of USB-C cables. I literally have dozens all around my apartment but once I break a lightning cable I’m sol unless I wanna take a trip and get a new 1 in the middle of the night…
It’s only 20 grams lighter so you won’t notice it and titanium scratches more easily than surgical-grade stainless steel and you cannot buff out scratches on titanium like you can on stainless steel.
Not upgrading this year, sticking with the 14 Pro Max
No point upgrading every year unless you got extra cash to burn. Maybe every 3 yrs minimum

I was happy with my pro max 11, but upgrading to the 15 was night and day difference in every way . When it comes iPhone, I think it’s becoming pointless to even upgrade unless you are 3 generations behind or a must have exclusive feature released.

Great vid! Unfortunately I won't be getting it anytime soon. Although the main reason for me to get it would be the amazing camera zoom. The color coming off of the camera on your iPhone 15 Pro Max did not look amazing. Why did the washed out colors look like that?

You messed something up when importing the iPhone video recording.
I guess you filmed it in Dolby Vision HDR (the default setting on iPhones), and then converted it to SDR for this video. That will look really bad without some proper color grading.
I own the 14 Pro Max and I really can’t see the difference between the 14 and 15 other than a bit of different programming in the software. I will be bit buying the 15 pro max. There just isn’t enough different to justify the cost to upgrade for me personally even though I’m a titanium nut. My EDC gear is basically all titanium. I use a tactileturn sideclick (short) for my pen and I love me titanium frame lock higher end knives. I bought the Apple ultra because it was titanium… but with my phone there needs to be a noticeable hardware upgrade for me to justify it. This did not happen.

I agree. I own the 14 Pro Max (Silver) and absolutely love it. I’ll admit that Blue Titanium color is fire 🔥 though. That said, I hang on to my phones for a few years usually; and when I upgraded to the 14 PM last year, I was coming from the X..so that was a huge upgrade. Not much of a difference between the 14 PM and the 15 PM. If you’re still rocking an 11 PM or maybe a 12PM, I think an upgrade (to the 14 or 15 PM) would be a strong consideration.

Considering 15 pro trading in my 13 pro. 3nm and USB-C are the big draws. Will be visiting my local Apple Store soon, as my 13 Pro is still the bomb. Need to be blown away. Don't get me wrong, I want it, but I don't think I'll notice a difference. Not currently a power camera user.

Why is a physical shutter nice lmao? You're knocking the entire framing of the photo out of place when you press it. There's a reason most people don't complain about having to lightly tap the touchscreen. Ideally, you'd prop your phone up with a tripod or use a gimbal and then have a remote shutter button.
Pretty sad that the big “upgrade” is switching to a universal power cord that’s used by every other electronic device device created in the last 5 years.
If that were all it is, but that's a carefully crafted lie by Apple's competition.

The video quality is looking off because you are using HDR. You can fix this on Final Cut Pro by using the HDR tool. Turn it back to SDR ✅
Good content. As for the titanium frame, its only 10% titanium infused with aluminum. So do yourself a favor, use a case. That blue frame will show scratches real easy. And the back glass doesnt have a metal plate like the 14pro max does. So definitely use a case.

@eriqhayter3117 Yes, because of the cameras. Do yourself a favor and buy a good case that has a good front screen lip and a good screen protector before you get the 15pro max. This way, when you get the phone, you'll be ready. That's what I always do. I never get the phone first.

The 15 pro max feels very cheap and the pvd coating scratches really easily i have the 15 pro max and i might return it and downgrade nothing noticeably different the 14 pro max feels more premium
I know a lot of people are passing on the upgrade for now, but like I said last time I commented on an iPhone 15 video, this might (MIGHT) actually be the first time I upgrade my phone by choice rather than out of necessity!
The USB-C alone is extremely tempting, and I recently learned that the action button can run any shortcut--this, by extension, means the action button can do ALMOST ANYTHING. My imagination is running wild.
Also, possibly hot take: I like the idea of the action button better than the silent switch, because such a tiny switch can be a bit fiddly to work with at times.

Agree, if I was going to upgrade to anything from me Se 3, it would of been the regular 15. It's not worth the $800 to upgrade at this time though, nothing wrong with my Se 3. Will wait for the Se 4 .
I decided to get the iPhone 14 Pro Max, Costco had it on sale for 999.00 with Apple Care Plus! I saved $400 with tax over the 15 Pro Max, I am happy! I will see Apple for maybe the 17?

I bought an iPhone 14 Pro Max because I absolutely love the shiny stainless steel sides and so do a lot of other people we don’t like the new titanium 15 version it’s just not attractive at all. It actually makes it look a lot cheaper fingerprints don’t bother me we all have to clean our phone anyway.

How the hell do these reviewers sit there going on about the design ant how gorgeous this one is and go as far as saying the last model looks “so gross”? For what a few finger prints? The phones look 99% the same for the past 3/4 generations… had to stop watching, the bias is too strong.

My iph 15 pro max started to overheat like crazy, in approx 10 min normal use with no gaming it starts to be very hot and the entire things starts to move very slow (similar when you put your ph in lower power mode), never had this issue with 13 pro max
So I guess with every generation, the overheating 🥵 problem gets worse on the phones

witch mean it will be the best phone with better CPU and Apple GPU (6-core graphics)
this 2 thing it's really good for ppl who playing games and also if you play to take this phone you can keep it easy up to 5-8 years till we get something huge like that !
so if you are going iphone 15 pro or pro max then go for it if you want iphone 15 to be fixed with better things wait for iphone 16 and trust me you will not change this phone for long term :)

Action button for the camera yet there’s easy ways to get the camera and the volume button is a shutter button too. I don’t get what’s so special about the 15. Spec wise it’s the same apart from an update on the cpu. The 15 breaks way too easy. I don’t get it🤯🤯
Not really an iphone user, but because i was allowed an upgrade i wanted the s24 ultra & notice it weren't coming out till January(17th) so i decided to go for an iphone, last i phone i had was iphone se which i believe was in the iphone 5 series, so i said let me try iphone properly, got the iphone 15promax. iPhone 15 Pro has a USB C 3.1 10 Gbit/s data transfer rate. For me it is going to be a easy change to USB C for charging. Ever since it came out I have used a "MagSafe" style magnetic lightning, charging cable. Already have the USB C magnetic tips so I will not need to purchase new cables.
I have ever since destroying a past iPhone by dropping it, as soon as a new one comes out of the box it goes into a case, and I put on a glass screen protector. Have had the glass screen protector crack after I dropped it. Then replaced it the very same day.
"Action Button" for this normal it will be the return of the "Home" screen button/sensor. On my iPhone 11 Pro still to this day more times than not can not get the swipe up to work. So it is swipe, swipe, swipe up until it returns to the "Home" screen.
Hope that since it looks like I will have to setup a Shortcut to use the "Action Button" to make it go to the "Home" screen that I can make the "Action Button" goto a landing page with a number of Shortcuts. Of course for this old normal "Number one with a bullet" would be the "Home" screen action.
Apple does make great products but not worth buying every year

Also using 11 pro max but my phone backside is cracked bad, battery sucks, charging port is barely working (have to fight with it just to get it to charge then not be able move it), and all around acts funky sometimes. I’ve had it since it came out and looking to get 15 pro max today 😁
Yeah, next Friday I’m downgrading the size of my phone to the 15 pro because they’re offering them free for existing and new customers so why not upgrade from the 14+ to the 15 pro and my girls getting her first iPhone after sticking with an S 21 for all this timeshe can’t wait
