I just made a small batch! 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/4 cup water (I used tap water) I cooked it on medium until it began to boil up, but then I turned it down to low. I whisked non-stop, it finally became darker and darker, then I checked my temp. 252° and I took it off the burner. Thanks for this! I can now ditch the razor and hella expensive razor blade refills!
LITERALLY!! This was the first thing I thought when coming across this video. I had one lady try and explain, but her recipe was all by eye. I could never replicate it again. The temperature ranges were extremely helpful too.

This has to be one of the best explanations of sugar waxing on yt. From the temperatures for specific hair types to how altitudes effect cooking it’s just *chefs kiss*. I HAVE to subscribe 😭😭🙏
Ingredients: Sugar, Lemon, Water, Baby Powder, Moisturiser Recipe: Put 4 cups of sugar in a pan Add 1 cup of lemon juice Add 1 cup of water Whisk until combined Now, Whisk on medium to high heat consistently When is starts to boil lower the heat and continue whisking If it starts to boil over remove from heat and then place sugar back on burner Continue heating and whisking until it has an auburn Color Turn off the heat and let it sit for 30-40 minutes Pour it in a container of your choice, it should have a honey like consistency, if it is too hard it means you overcooked it, add a little water and heat again and if it is runny it means it is undercooked, heat again. How to use? Wear gloves and make a small ball, use some baby powder on your skin, then place the sugar on the opposite direction of the hair, hold the skin tight, mood 3 times and flick in the direction of hair growth. Congrats, you don’t have any more body hair!! EDIT: To store the remaining sugar wax just keep it in an air resistant container
@crashburndicoot6940 alright now you little shit, you either talk to me with respect or leave alright? No one asked you to spread your negativity here. Anyone who is watching this video might have a few doubts or while sugar waxing they might forget a step so instead of having to watch the video again and again for any small details they missed out they can just read this super short paragraph. Watching the video is too time consuming.
@crashburndicoot6940 I think they’re just writing down everything she said in the video to put it into recipe form for people so while they’re making it they don’t have to look back through the video. Like a summary or smth. :)
Hi, does the container have to be made of glass or can it be made of plastic? To be honest, now I've made it and I'm confused about whether I should pour it directly into a container or let it sit first. I'm afraid the texture will change if refrigerated for too long.
The fact that I’m doing all this cause I do not feel like shaving anymore💀💀 shaving leaves stupid bumps and it grows back so fast. I want my hair GONEEE!!
Pro tip: if you use fresh squeezed lemon juice, add an extra full cup of sugar to the recipe. Store-bought Lemon juice like what she used is mostly citric acid and can actually change the consistency of your sugar paste. I found this out the hard way and had to completely start over. Once I added a full cup, my sugar was a lot darker and worked better for grabbing da hair
I can’t wait to try this! I’m 24 and I’ve been shaving since I was 14, and I am done, my friend. Especially since my husband likes my legs smooth, and so do I, but that means I have to shave them like every two days forever. No thanks. Time to try waxing! 😂 UPDATE AFTER DOING IT: You absolutely _have_ to boil it long enough, I’m telling you. Mine was a little runnier than hers, but I thought “it’s fine” and stopped. *_It was not fine._* It’s almost impossible to work with if it’s not thick and DARK BROWN. Mine kept melting sticking to my fingers and skin, and I had to stick the sugar wax in my freezer between every couple strips yanked. _For the love of everything, _*_boil it til it’s THICK._*
@@animatedNight - yes, mine got SUPER frothy and the top layer was covered in white bubbles. That's just the moisture boiling out of the sugar mixture. Just keep whisking it until it's 250 degrees F, and a dark auburn color! Then leave it to cool, like she says, and if it's a thick honey consistency when it's cooled, THEN it can go in the fridge for hours. If it's not a very thick honey consistency yet, boil it again for longer. That's what I had to do.
I ran to the store after seeing this video! I made it and tried it on my arms. I CANNOT BELIEVE IVE BEEN WASTING MONEY GOING TO THE SHOP FOR WAXES! Those days are over! Thank youu
@@taylortaft7866 I used the cloth wax strips because they were much easier as opposed to learning how to work the wax in my hand. But the strips take more wax because that piece of wax is one and done, you can’t use it over and over like she did in the video. Every section is a new wax. I used a craft stick to apply the wax(opposite of hair growth) then press a strip on(opposite of hair growth), let it sit about 5-10sec and pull(direction of hair growth). WORKED FLAWLESSLY!
This worked so well for me. Thank you so much for the recipe . I had a terrible experience having hair removal done professionally. They worked one spot until I bled. It was unbelievably painful. I had to leave, without getting anything else done but one armpit. I was certain I would never wax again. This approach is so nice because you can control how much of a section you work, and how many times you redo that area. I found that if there were a few stragglers, I just plucked them with tweezers. I also had better luck applying the sugar with popsickle sticks. I then applied a strip of cotton fabric to do the peel . That was much more affective, and much less painful for me. Hardly painful at all compared to my first experience with a professional. I will probabaly never shave again. Excellent video. Thanks again!!
I enjoy both removing hair and letting my natural hair grow freely, just depends on my mood. The real empowerment lies in the personal decision to do something because you DESIRE it, NOT because society tells us it's the way to be! Let's just take a moment to honor and appreciate the beauty of your natural body hair! It's totally normal and healthy!
yes!!!! oh my gosh it drives me crazy when people tell women they shouldn’t shave because “you’re only shaving because society tells you you should!” like what no i don’t i do it because i like how smooth my skin feels and because i think it looks nice leave me alone
Lmao i love this because this is exactly how i feel, ill go get a pedi and have hairy legs because i can, sometimes ill shave nd sometimes i dont. "Its natural hair that grows naturally out of my body, chill"😊😉
Same thougths! It's nice to keep everyone reminded about the waste we produce and how we should make the conscious effort to atleast lessen our waste production. Thank you!
Everyone pls pay attest: If lemon juice is fresh then double the amount of sugar if it wasn't then still both lemon juice and water should make half of glass if sugar is one glass. But if it was fresh lemon juice then sugar quantity should be double. Thanks to the girl in the comment below she actually told this and saved my two batches of wax🎉

SUGARING HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. I’m Indian, I have body hair! I remember being embarrassed about it in middle school like in gym class when I hadn’t been allowed to shave yet or when this one guy said my arms are hairy And lemme tell you I’ve been consistently sugaring (let’s say about 6 times total in the span of like 2 years) and my hair grows back so thin and sparse! It’s like barely there!! There’s patches of skin where I have no hair too 😍😍😍 I plan on sugaring consistently until my hair stops growing, it’s possible! This stuff is like a miracle! I feel so silky smooth and feminine like 24/7 thanks to sugaring because even when it grows back it’s barely there :) If you have any questions let me know!! PLEASE TRY THIS AND PLEASE DITCH THE RAZORRRR
@@riaria2909 for a while I made it without a thermometer and even with the thermometer I have trouble :( so what you wanna do if you don’t have a thermometer is test a small amount of your sugar wax in cold ice water. Then you can see if your wax is still syrupy it’s undercooked, if it’s pliable and forms into a ball after you take it out of the water then that’s perfect! You can find videos on UA-cam that use the cold water test to see if the sugar wax is cooked well
First ever youtuber who ACTUALLY explained the process . I'm really thankful . I have been shaving for like 4years and really want to try out wax but as in my town the parlours aren't that good at it . Finally your sis is gonna wax ayyy💁🏻♀️❤️
You're one of a kind. Explaining every detail yet making it look like so easy. Also on realistic skin not commercial kinda skin, which made you more unique. Couldn't resist to comment. Thanks a ton for the video.
Great video, you did an amazing job with explaining everything in detail. I'm originally Palestinian, sugar wax is the only type of wax women use in the Middle East (well at least at home). I moved to the US as a teenager, and when I realized I needed to start using wax instead of shaving I decided to ask my mom who lived overseas how she made it. Typical mother, she wasn't able to give me exact measurements lol, so after several attempts where she told me to go by color (she didn't use a thermometer), it came out too hard every time. My mom has since passed, and buying good wax to use at home can get expensive, I also think sugar does a better job of getting the hair out. As a side note, they never used gloves back, home, that's the only part I wasn't looking forward to. I'm so glad I watched your video and know I can use gloves. Thanks again!!!
Desttiny, thank you for this knowledgeable insight. I have been struggling trying to find natural ways in beautifying myself and this has been one of the most difficulest issue here. Thank you.
omg I've watched sooo many of these videos and no one explained it the way you did. I had to buy sugar wax and it was like $30 because every time I tried to make it I failed, but your looks even better than the one I bought. I'll definitely be trying it the way you explained. Thank you thank you!❤️
@@gayatrig4103 I have tried sugaring but I haven’t tried this method I never got around to it so sorry :( but I would buy the Veet sugar wax and other brands that sell sugar wax. With sugaring I did find it to for some reason lighten better than regular wax.
@@semedova4500 Hi :) I have tried sugaring not this method because I never got around to it but I still want to try it :) So with sugaring I would just buy premade which is weird because making your own is way cheaper. Sugaring i’ve noticed lightens your skin a bit more than regular wax, also with waxing in general I have noticed my hair grows back way thinner than with shaving.
I saw some comments saying it was too runny and I was contemplating trying this recipe but the one I was given at school and that came out really well for me was: •2 cups of [granulated, or brown] sugar (400g) •1/4 cup of lemon juice (60mL) •1/4 cup of water (60mL) It was incredibly easy I got a candy thermometer from Walmart for five dollars but honestly I didn’t need it. Because after it changes color you can drop it in ice cold water and see if you can form it into a ball, or if it’s too runny or stars coming apart then you know to leave it on the heat a bit, it’s not done cooking. But yes I love this recipe!!!!
@@xhovana3531 yes you can, wait till it turns a deep amber and see if it hardens into a ball after putting it in ice cold water just a spoon full. To instantly cool and test its efficacy!☺️
FIY - the fact the ball gets white after isn't because of your "dead skin cells" - it's because of the air that gets trapped inside of the sugar. The more you roll it, the lighter it gets (and you can even test it out yourself by rolling and pulling the ball of sugar for a little while). Any candy-maker will be able to tell you why this happens. Otherwise, great video!
It can be both. The way she’s talking about is because of dead skin cells - the whiteness you’re talking about is not. As a baker and having gone for sugaring for over a decade, every professional I’ve ever seen has said this. Both can be true.
I searched so many times "waxing at home" And I was failed every time.(Now I know it's course of all ineffictive videos which I watched) But this time I saw your video It's clear to understand you really want help to people . I didn't even use thermometer. Just with controling color I made this with your super easy way. THANK YOU VERY MUCH InsAllah In your whole life you will face such a beautiful things like yourself 😍😍😍
girl you saved my life. i've tried to do it at least 10 times (not even exaggerating) and it would always turn out like candy but this time it literally turned out perfect!
Definitely gonna try this. This is the first video I've seen that shows how to make the wax and use it properly! Oh and the inserts had me 🤣 Thank you so much for this.
Just made this last night! I think it turned out great, it’s got a really slow pour after it’s cool, like pretty thick like honey. Took about 50 minutes of standing and stirring! Took the temp right to 252 degrees F! So excited to try it!
hi do you still use sugar? Does it cause hair to thicken and grow? Or rather diluted? How long after sugar did your hair fall out? Do you think razor or sugar is better?
I’m also a licensed esthetician and you make this look so easy! I see why they offered additional training in specifically sugaring for hair removal and I heard most of the class is just getting used to handling the sugar wax. Yesterday I made this and tried twice to make a ball and failed both times (just goo all over my hands😫) so I gave up on that and grabbed some paper towels folded it over and used it for “strips” and it worked!! So I used this as a soft wax with paper towels as strips 🤣 shalom for the formula
Finally I pulled the wax back and hairs came off. 4th try. Now the flick is my next hurdle to have no wax left on my leg, and recuperate the whole ball of sugar wax into my hand. It's definitely in the technique. I'm not giving up!! Thank you for making this video 💜
I followed your instructions and I was able to make it according to my hair type. I'm so happy it worked. Thank you very much for this tutorial. I really appreciate it.☺️
Finally somebody who explained how not to bruise yourself no body mentions this and I ended up very bruised but want to try again but didn’t know what I was doing wrong thank you going to try again 😅
Omg just 1 video in and I'm in LOVE with your channel!! super helpful and thank you for spreading knowledge as a licensed professional 💚 it was so refreshing haha
This video alone made you my favorite!!! You're so detailed and helpful. Thank you so much!!! I've been looking up sugar recipes and NOBODY has given Temps. I think that's why so many of us mess up. I can't wait to try this
Pro Tip: if you don't have a thermometer like me, use cold water to test. At some stages, turn off the heat and use a spoon to pour some into the water. If it's ready, it'll be soft and able to mould. TESTIMONY: I saved this video about 6 months ago, tried it at that time and I failed because I overcooked it. But girlllll, this recipe is the bomb. 2 days in and my wax still has it's sticky consistency. Waxed 90% of my coarse hair in one go‼️ (using strips cause I couldn't bear flicking my own skin😹😭)
Gurl, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, I tried following so many tutorials and none of them worked until I found this one!!! This is gonna save me so much money that I was paying at the salon😂 Honestly didn't expect this to work perfectly!!!!
I've used stripless wax my whole life. Recently I moved to turkey and all they have is wax strips with very runny consistency, so I was forced to shave. THIS JUST SAVED ME
@Brei Wicker the first few times it will hurt most, but after a while you really get used to it. It‘s really important to let the wax cool off, to trim your hair if it is too long, and maybe start in places that don‘t hurt as much (maybe the arms or legs) to get used to the pain and get a hang of the flicking motion and so on
If it's too runny/sticky you can literally just put it back in a pan and cook it to a darker color. I cooked it to 250° the first time and it ended up being too soft so I just reheated it and used the water ball test and it turned out perfect! Thanks for the recipe!
As a guy I just wanna comment to help out my brothers watching: You're gonna need to make about 2-3 batches of this stuff bc the hair over-saturates the wax REALLY quickly and it ends up not grabbing the hair well (she's a pretty small girl too by comparison). Also, I recommend getting the wax up to 280 or even close to 290 Farenheight because I tried cooking to 250 as she said and it was way too runny (I live in the NY/NJ area and it's September rn so climate differences may change the temp you need); You gotta almost burn the sugar for it to harden and grab the hair when it cools down. In fact, I ended up having to apply it while periodically re-heating it so it could cool down just enough on the surface of the skin to pull effectively. The problem is, this ends up making you sweat A LOT because of the heat so you might have to sometimes stop applying and take a quick shower and start again. I'm a slightly big dude and really hairy (6 feet, 220 lbs) doing this for bodybuilding so If you're just wanting to remove the hair on your legs and arms ignore this but if you wanna get EVERY strand of hair below your head off your body like me, you're gonna wanna make a lot of this stuff, and its gonna take a while (for me it was like 3-4 hours total over a few days), especially if you're doing it for the first time.
I tried this for the first time today using the firm wax. Due to the extremely warm conditions of my surroundings it melted quickly so I had to use muslin strips. It worked out great but I'll be experimenting with the medium wax in the future. Thank you for your detailed hard work and for sharing your expertise with us!
@@Majhail_leen heat your batch to only 150° and a thermometer is essential. You can use either fresh lemon juice or apple cider vinegar but use 5 cups of sugar no matter which one you choose. Your home internal temperature also plays a part so if your air conditioning is on it works all the better.
Honestly I can't wait to try this, I'm going to make it and wax today. One of the benefits you don't mention in the video is that it's eco-friendly and doesn't hurt the environment 🌻❤ I hope with time my hair grows back thinner 💖

I don’t know if I would ever be able to do it to myself but I love the video and I would maybe try it on my legs and underarms. Thanks again for sharing your time and expertise with us💕
I'm an esthetics student and we just took our Alexandria Peofessionals sugaring course. I love sugaring so much already but as someone who likes to be self sufficient this video was amazing! I will definitely give it a shot and see how it goes. What I liked the most about it is that it looked like you didn't even need a warmer, is that true or did I miss something from your video?

@@DestinyPino if you see the replies can you address the many people that this didnt work out for? I just tried this and it looks not even a little bit like yours. Its all fizzy instead of a roiling boil and it boils over long before it can get to 250. It quits at 230.

I watch this without skip the video, because your Explanation so Detail, thanks For the recipe, absolutly i’ll try to make it… Sending Love from Indonesia 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Tried it for the first time yesterday. Accidentally made it a little too hot so it was more for coarse hair, but still worked. I also got it stuck on the back of my leg and definitely bruises up the skin on that leg getting it off. But overall, not a bad first attempt! I had this video up again while doing it, so it helped a lot.
@@rosendoguzman4036 hmm, idk. I waxed again today. First time since my last post. Used the same wax I'd made before. Was even easier the second time. No sticking to the skin and no bruises. Make sure you use corn starch/baby powder prior to application. I also used an old expired gift card 💳 I had laying around to apply and flick. It made it apply more evenly as I worked around my legs.
Your hand movement making a ball is so artistic! :o I am hypnotized :D Kind of remember me Asian traditions like the tea ceremony, it's so gracious and it's almost dance for me.
This is so helpful. I recently bought one of those heated roll-on waxers, and it was beyond painful. I will be making my own sugar wax using this tutorial and hopefully it will be my new method. Great video ❤
Thank you so much for the video. I did it and it's perfect. I'm sugaring myself more than 6 years, but this is the most stable sugar wax, i don't have to run out of the bathroom, in a towel, to the microwave it every 10 minutes.😁
I love this video, I’ve been trying to find a video that actually helps, but unfortunately I haven’t. Thank god you showed up in my recommendation, definitely subscribing!! :)
Well it took me 7 tries but I believe it’s because the thermometer I had. But BABAAAYYYYYY, it was actually fun to do 🤣🤣 my body temp is ALWAYS HOT so some flicks weren’t working because the ingredients kept melting 🤣🤣 but I actually enjoyed doing this and the outcome after!! My inner thighs were soooooo soft and smooth!!! Didn’t make it to the vajay because it was 12am and I was in the bathroom sweating 😭😭😭😭 but thank youuuuuu!!!
@@zeehuss7275 I don’t think so because heat will still be transferred from your body to the wax. Gloves can help to keep your hands mess free though. You can always pop the wax in the fridge for a few minutes and apply
When you’re making this recipe, I had a hard time getting it to reach 245°F using a small sauce pan. It would continue to boil over and I would have to remove it from the heat in order to keep it from making a mess of my kitchen. Use a huge pot when you Make this - even if you do a half recipe like I did
Same. I did a half batch and it kept boiling over in a normal pot and therefore I couldn't get it to go above 200F. I had to transfer it to a stock pot. I was able to get it to 250F but when cooled, now it's hard as a rock and unusable. I don't know what I did wrong.
Me having hard time too.. when it teach the colour, only 150 or below.. when it reach 180, colour alr look burned, and smoked kitchen.. omg.. I think boiled iver 20,30mins etc): I turned off after if smoke whole kitchen
Thank you for this video!! So informative! The first time I made it, let it cool overnight, and it was too runny. so I put it back on the stove, boiled it again, and once again it was just a tiny bit too thin. back to the pot to boil and I let it get up to 270. I was afraid I had burned it and ruined it because the color was much darker, but I let it cool overnight and tried it the next morning and it was great! it was thicker and firmer than the video but it worked great! Definitely going to take practice figuring out the handling of it but I think this is going to be amazing once I become a pro! So glad I discovered this right before summer!! Thank you!

Continue heating and whisking until it has an auburn Color
Turn off the heat and let it sit for 30-40 minutes
Pour it in a container of your choice, it should have a honey like consistency, if it is too hard it means you overcooked it, add a little water and heat again and if it is runny it means it is undercooked, heat again.
How to use?
Wear gloves and make a small ball, use some baby powder on your skin, then place the sugar on the opposite direction of the hair, hold the skin tight, mood 3 times and flick in the direction of hair growth.
Congrats, you don’t have any more body hair!!
EDIT: To store the remaining sugar wax just keep it in an air resistant container
how do you store the remainder?
Put it in an air resistance container ❤ finally I replied after 1 month

Yeah well lemon and lime have more citric acid than most of those bottles juices. Just add extra if you’re using store bought
@@to.lame.to.function5242 do you mean fresh-squeezed?
Thank you! I couldn’t figure out why mine wasn’t working.
You mean with 1 cup of FRESH squeezed lemon for 5 cups of sugar?

I can’t wait to try this! I’m 24 and I’ve been shaving since I was 14, and I am done, my friend. Especially since my husband likes my legs smooth, and so do I, but that means I have to shave them like every two days forever. No thanks. Time to try waxing! 😂
UPDATE AFTER DOING IT:
You absolutely _have_ to boil it long enough, I’m telling you. Mine was a little runnier than hers, but I thought “it’s fine” and stopped. *_It was not fine._*
It’s almost impossible to work with if it’s not thick and DARK BROWN. Mine kept melting sticking to my fingers and skin, and I had to stick the sugar wax in my freezer between every couple strips yanked.
_For the love of everything, _*_boil it til it’s THICK._*
Mine is thin and there is white bubbles forming on the layer, is it right ? A part of the process ??
@@animatedNight - yes, mine got SUPER frothy and the top layer was covered in white bubbles. That's just the moisture boiling out of the sugar mixture. Just keep whisking it until it's 250 degrees F, and a dark auburn color! Then leave it to cool, like she says, and if it's a thick honey consistency when it's cooled, THEN it can go in the fridge for hours. If it's not a very thick honey consistency yet, boil it again for longer. That's what I had to do.

@@gayatrig4103 yes, I did
@@clairejeanbaptiste5095 OK thanks
How did you remove the sugar wax after applying does it completely dry where you can pull it off easily?
Thank you for showing this on an actual hairy leg I’ve seen so many people do body hair removal videos and they have no hair 😭😭

I’m Indian, I have body hair! I remember being embarrassed about it in middle school like in gym class when I hadn’t been allowed to shave yet or when this one guy said my arms are hairy
And lemme tell you I’ve been consistently sugaring (let’s say about 6 times total in the span of like 2 years) and my hair grows back so thin and sparse! It’s like barely there!! There’s patches of skin where I have no hair too 😍😍😍
I plan on sugaring consistently until my hair stops growing, it’s possible! This stuff is like a miracle! I feel so silky smooth and feminine like 24/7 thanks to sugaring because even when it grows back it’s barely there :)
If you have any questions let me know!!

I saw some comments saying it was too runny and I was contemplating trying this recipe but the one I was given at school and that came out really well for me was:
•2 cups of [granulated, or brown] sugar (400g)
•1/4 cup of lemon juice (60mL)
•1/4 cup of water (60mL)
It was incredibly easy I got a candy thermometer from Walmart for five dollars but honestly I didn’t need it. Because after it changes color you can drop it in ice cold water and see if you can form it into a ball, or if it’s too runny or stars coming apart then you know to leave it on the heat a bit, it’s not done cooking.
But yes I love this recipe!!!!

@@gloryagu9074 yesss! You absolutely can.
Mine turned out funny..
How painful is it? Iv never tried wax before and im scared lol
I did that but it burnt it instead.
As a guy I just wanna comment to help out my brothers watching:
You're gonna need to make about 2-3 batches of this stuff bc the hair over-saturates the wax REALLY quickly and it ends up not grabbing the hair well (she's a pretty small girl too by comparison).
So nice for you to take out for your brothers! We need more men like you
Thank you!!! I’m in the tristate area as well and 250° F was absolutely not hot enough. My sugar paste is wayyyy too runny. Will heat again.

Kind of remember me Asian traditions like the tea ceremony, it's so gracious and it's almost dance for me.
This is so helpful. I recently bought one of those heated roll-on waxers, and it was beyond painful. I will be making my own sugar wax using this tutorial and hopefully it will be my new method. Great video ❤
I tried it … followed everything exactly and it doesn’t work. So don’t waste your time.
This is by far the best tutorial I have watched on UA-cam. You're a pro!😉
Thank you so much for the video. I did it and it's perfect. I'm sugaring myself more than 6 years, but this is the most stable sugar wax, i don't have to run out of the bathroom, in a towel, to the microwave it every 10 minutes.😁
💯
I love this video, I’ve been trying to find a video that actually helps, but unfortunately I haven’t. Thank god you showed up in my recommendation, definitely subscribing!! :)
Omg I’m so glad my video could help! Thank you for the support 💞💞💞
I asked AI to recommend a UA-cam video for sugar wax preparation and this was the only video it recommended
Hi try more of a firmer wax then a medium if you haven’t already due to your body temp being more towards the warm side then cool :)
@@lexy542 Do gloves help if someone has warm body temperature and wax starts to melt?
@@zeehuss7275 I don’t think so because heat will still be transferred from your body to the wax. Gloves can help to keep your hands mess free though. You can always pop the wax in the fridge for a few minutes and apply
@@moonver9712 No it grows much late than shaved coz hair is pulled out of roots
@@lexy542 thank you! Idk why I didn’t think of that 😂
When you’re making this recipe, I had a hard time getting it to reach 245°F using a small sauce pan.
Same!! The highest I could get was 225 and had to keep picking it up to keep it from boiling over
Thank you! I am having that issue right now and I was scrolling through the comments for a solution lol
Me having hard time too.. when it teach the colour, only 150 or below.. when it reach 180, colour alr look burned, and smoked kitchen.. omg.. I think boiled iver 20,30mins etc): I turned off after if smoke whole kitchen
Why didn’t I read this bro. IT TOOK ME A HOUR
Thank you!
Hi are you still using sugaring? Does it cause hair thickening and reproduction? Or on the contrary diluted?
Omg! Best video ever with wax. Thank you. You are so good at this!
I've tried so many recipes of sugar wax and they neeever work out :( I'll try this one out ✨ ps: I loooove your hair and your top 😍 you're so pretty girrrrl, thank you for this video!
Thank you so much Camilla! 🥺💞💞 you’re so sweet haha
Oh my god, first try, I made wax that worked SO WELL! Thank you for the instructions!!! I couldn't get the flick right so I used strips, and that worked LIKE A DREAM! One little glop did SO MUCH OF MY LEG. Thank you! ^-^ No more razors or expensive waxes for me!
Did you get it thin? I got it thin. So can we apply it directly and use strips or we should heat it again.?
A tip is smear it in opposite direction Of growth then flich the end up then pull like a strip
Can you do an explanation tutorial on how you carefully wax down 😸 there with sugar wax such as what wax routine you follow
Include animate pictures or something like that for better understanding too😊
Best sugar wax tutorial on youtube, Period! Thank you so much girlie 😍
this video is very helpful thanks i’m going to try sugar waxing soon :) i love the way you explain it i have been using hard wax for years wich is very expensive and painful. Sugar waxing only takes 3 ingredients that you mostly already have at home. Also ladies don’t be insecure about your body hair it’s natrual and beautiful if you don’t feel like removing your body hair don’t do it embrace it and don’t listen to people who don’t like it 💅🏻💕

How many grams is 1 cup
As soon as she stated lets not act like body hair isn’t normal I had to sub❤️
I heat it up to 255 and it thicken put when I put it on it is not hard enough to flick
I watched your video and I did it on my first ever attempt. I am super proud of myself. Thank you for your video.
I CANT WAIT TO TRY THIS! I've only ever gone to get waxed twice and I definitely feel like doing it myself is inexpensive and I will definitely take my time to do it.
Hi are you still using sugaring? Does it cause hair thickening and reproduction? Or on the contrary diluted?
Don’t waste your time babe I tried it. Followed every instruction perfectly and it just doesn’t work 😭 never got it to even come off my skin! No matter how hard/ fast I flicked it.
I’m happy that you did it with your hair on your legs!
I have tried sugar waxing three different times and every time I overcook it or burn myself. I’ve never heard of this way so I’m going to give it one last shot. I will update on how it goes. Thanks for this vid.
update?
tell me how it went!!
Did it go well?
I still haven’t done it! I didn’t even know anyone cared or would ever see this comment! I meant to do it the day I watched this but I just kept shaving out of habit! I will do this tomorrow and update you guys! Haha, sorry about the very delayed response! 😭❤️
Thank you for this! I made my first batch ever today and it came out perfect with the thermometer and temperature references you provided! Such a great tutorial!
When my mom asks me what I’m doing I’ll just tell her I’m making candy 😂😂
I told her that I'm making candy🌚😎
@@user-Ajj2hg7ji5h basically the same except candy they add flavor I've made candy this way n no corn syrup, 300°
@@samanthanicholson9015 Yes, I have seen a lot of videos about making candy in this way.
