Glad to see Bremner doesn't look as rough in real life as he does in the film.

Bremmer is such a good actor bringing spud to life. In TS1 spud seemed to appear as a gullable loveable harmless fool. However in TS2 spud is revealed to be aware of the pain of the world (Particularly in notion of bigby in is book)

Seen it two nights in a row already at the cinema and will probably see it a few more times before it goes out!
It can never top the original, but it fills a big gap in my film life!
    Let's do another!

There is, but its not done in a way which makes you feel awkward, its more funny than you know full on awkward and its only a few seconds. I don't like sex scenes either, but I have been to see this film 5 times now and that aspect of it barely registers.
I waited 20 years for this, and I want to soak it up as much as I can in the best possible environment.
its one of those films which you can watch over and over, its sentimental, thought provoking, well written and I love the Scottish accents and sayings. Many of us watching this will have been young when we saw this and are now entering different stages of our life akin to the onscreen motley crew and much of the film mirrors that, I feel a close bond with this film and its characters because I spent so long wondering what they amounted to after the original.
They could EASILY do another, but if they never did, this is a pleasing way to end it forever.

finally saw it today and after walking about glasgow and reflecting on all the real people that can easily experience things like these characters I was so sad. I loved it

Watched it last night and was definitely not disappointed, can't wait for the DVD release so I can watch it again, another trip to the cinema might be on the cards.
Heard/read mixed opinions about it before I went and most were in favour of the film, some were comparing it to the original which I refuse to do as they're filmed & set 20 years apart, I'd advise anybody who liked the first one to go and see T2, and anybody who hasn't seen the first one to watch it then go see T2, the way they walked right back into the characters they were 20 years ago was brilliant and it couldn't have been easy, some of the scenes are hilarious, and out of the 4 characters if you asked me to pick a favourite I could only say 'all of them' Begbie's still a nutter, Spud's found it hard but he'll still make you laugh like fcuk, Sick Boy's still determined to be a wealthy businessman of some sort & Renton's still the more sensible one of the pack.

God damnit this is the one film I want to see the most this year and it's not even playing in my city. I may just drive down south 2 hours just to watch a movie.
