Just for reference, the explosion at the start was some freedomers getting smacked my two duty squads at the checkpoint. I personally would’ve gone for the extra ammo and to see if they had any meds or frags
Man, there is a quest at stalkers base on kordon to get trophy ak 47. This thing shoots 7.62x54 and hell it is powerful. Also, tank mg has 2k of those rounds if unloaded.
Good game play , for tip , the most closed trader is from Yantar with Sakarov, sell all yout shit for some 9x39 its very cheap after completing brain scorcher.
It really is. I remember doming exobois at the CNPP in SoC. It was a pain because of the bullet drop but one sometimes two headshots and an exosuit would he down. Or exoskeleton, I cant remember, its been awhile. And with how quiet that gun and its subsonic cartridges are, it was duck hunting at that point as long as I was behind cover and far enough away to not trigger their aggro in any way. Eezy peezy monolith squeezy.

The 7.62x54 sniper rifles are useless in vanilla stalker, Vintar BC best by a mile.
