Hell yeah, love to see playthroughs of story mods and anything else Stalker related (especially obscure stuff). I also got wrecked in the bandit fight....didn't expect to be so squishy compared to bandits as a guide in Prypyat....only belatedly realized it was due to the SEVA kit. Finally won via hit and run. Potshot, retreat to next corner, repeat. Ended up circling the building outdoors multiple times. Quite a long hide and seek melee. Very fun. But frustrating to only get it afyer dying five times....seeing you have the same "holy crap ballistics" moment feels relatable. (I'll follow your career with interest. I'm a few quests further in, but seems like a story chokepoint, so I'm hoping I'll be able to pump the brakes before watching further than I've played.)

@Zone Operator I don't know why you don't like the AN 94 it's so good with 2 round burst mode absolutely shreds so much better than automatic fire and a lot easier to control it's also faster than automatic fire. I agree the PSO-1 scope is not done very well in incubator it's much better in dream catcher though.

@Zone Operator the AN 94 Abakan has a 2 round burst mode which is more accurate and fires faster than automatic mode you should try it out.

That was until Strelok and the squad roles into Pripyat with a stalker carrying a gauss rifle, wearing an exo, and has the Oasis on his belt.

A great start, excited to watch the rest of this playthrough! It is great that there are now interesting Stalker story mods translated into English, rather than just the sandbox mods like Anomaly, but alas I don't have time to play games at the moment. Thank goodness someone is doing playthroughs of them! Given how awful that night vision is, you might be better off walking around at night with it off, and enjoying the beautiful zone night! Much nicer than a green screen and I'm not sure it would help you spot anything anyway. I really appreciate that you read out most of the important dialogue, or give summaries of it... on a phone screen or even a tablet reading the tiny text of Stalker games is impossible. I've heard that Incubator might have more than one ending, not sure if that is true though.
