In this video, I have invited Wangchu, a northeasterner, to take on the challenge of listening to Cantonese intensively for hours. How did he perform? Did you understand me completely? Damn, such a blessing being able to be born in southern China
You don’t have to struggle learning Cantonese or mandarin because you’re raised up with those languages
Sucks for non-native speakers who want to learn cantonese because there are very little resources and a lot of us can’t afford to go live abroad :/
hahah but you have no idea how many college classmates mock at my Mandarin when I was in college. there is always a Cantonese accent when we speak Mandarin. and some parents thought I was from Guangzhou and my mandarin was not as professional as people from other places of China. They think I am even less professional than from Taiwan. Some students think I am not from HK and they think only Hk ppl's Cantonese is native. It puts me in a dilemma sometimes.
What I am saying is that we always wish we were in our target language's country. I want to live in English-speaking countries for a few months too. But I can't afford that.
But You are luckier than me haha because youtube brings me in front of you.

You’re right…. We can’t choose where or how we are born …just have to learn to deal with the struggles
@@DopeCantoneseIt's unfortunate the Southern Mandarin accents are not appreciated. They sound better in terms of all the R sounds and SH sounds. The North has a lot of spitting sounds
so many words from Cantonese and other Souther Chinese languages are in Vietnamese also like the word for special is ALSO

這就讓我想起我以前的女朋友教我說白話的方法…這樣確實可以學到不少
然後每次從我嘴裡蹦出一句國語她就罰我10塊錢…😂
記得剛開始一天就被罰了幾百塊。但反過來她也學會不少韓語。廣東人學韓語特別快，相對北方人有很大的優勢。
我都有听讲韩语中有不少发音好似广东话，有机会我都会研究一下
