Hope there is a Season 2, with a good and interesting storyline , ending with a proper and worthy Jane Austen conclusion. A happily ever after with Charlotte and Sidney together.
I soooo want a Season 2, where Lady Susan uses her influence to save Sanditon & Sidney from a loveless marriage. Mrs. Campion isn't foreign to jilting a lover, so it's time for her to reap!! I bet Susan would do it, just to "get Mrs. C's goat"!
You know what is crazy, the music with the videos is excellent and I have purchased the music. Watching the full series is great, another great scene is the carriage ride in London, everything she felt came out in that ride. The argument in the street, it was so passionate, it was crazy. Sidney is in love.🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️

Charlotte is so gorgeous - as no doubt Sydney is, for the female audience. All of the other characters are brilliantly drawn and the casting/acting is spot-on.

Only episode 1 was based from the book. The story stopped from there so the screenwriter finished the story. The ending is crap! That is not how Austen wouldn't have wanted her book to end. Love always triumphs. That is the Austen theme.

She had such great sense of humour in my understanding, I disagree. She wouldn't have written all these things in a novel, but that doesn't mean, she could have enjoyed this show. I think she'd turn in her grave because of people presume to know what a prude she was in person. Was she?

I've watched the series three times and cried three times...or more. Please, another season!
Still have not watched the last one multiple times, sobbed as Charlotte's heart is broken, when she says goodbye to Mary you can see the saddness.
