u gotta react to sentai daishikkaku (go go loser ranger) its so fcking good. surprised u havent heard of it yet.
"The Fable" is such an underrated gem of an anime, it's basically about a professional hitman who has run out of jobs so his boss tells him to live a normal life for a year. The story is so good from what i read in the manga, and so far the anime seems to be doing it justice
For real, people saying the designs are bad but as an anime only im enjoying it a lot. (Tezuka productions are really shit at animating things tho)
Mysterious Disappearances (#22) was my favorite song from this season Spring '24.
Sentai kaishikkaku is go go loser ranger in English, youve probably heard some hype about it on twitter, its really good!
I'm dying to see your reaction to Mushoku Tensei, season 2 part 2 is so good!
If we're talking about anime themselves, then to me the ones that easily stand out from everything else are Hibike Euphonium and Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai (Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night), both music anime.
Euphonium, by Kyoto Animation, talks about a school band club throughout 3 years; and, as is customary with KyoAni, while the focus on the music and instruments is extremely precise and realistic, the spotlight is also on the human relations among its various members.
Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai, by Doga Kobo, tells the story of 4 characters as they meet, get to know each other and use music to heal the wounds caused by society and by the people around them, as they embrace a new beginning for themselves. And, while in this video it's not so obvious, the OP itself is lovely, probably my favourite of the whole season.
I really love Blue Archive opening. It's just looks so cute and sweet. Although there's so many gun, lol
#33 The opening of Shummatsu train is my favorite, it should have been a few places higher, since it is very good in keeping with the madness of the anime world
Not putting Dungeon Meshi 2nd opening is crime, literally best opening this season

My favorite Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) opening 4 soo good
This top 40 list reminded me that 3 popular isekai anime’s have made their return this season: Konosuba, The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, and Mushoku Tensai. I plan on watching these. While not listed here, I’m looking forward to RE:Zero’s return this fall. My favorite of the 4.
Imo the best opening of the season has to be Kaiju. I myself am not a big fan of Yungblud, but that song just slaps.
Also, I really would love to see you check out the openings to "Jormungand". There is 2 openings, "Perfect Order" is season 2 (so Op2). :)

I like 34. Highspeed Etoile OP by Nana Mizuki, 13. The Astro Note OP by Ai Furihata, 10. Girls Band Cry OP by Togenaishi Togeari, and 9. Tensei Shitara Dai Nana Oji Datta no de Kimama ni Majutsu o Kiwamemasu OP by Kaede Higuchi.
The one that got copyrighted 7:27 is from Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler, you already did a reaction to the openings but this one is from the new season, you should watch the opening and the ending too (actually all endings are really great, highly recomend)

Yuru Camp (35) is my favorite comfort show. It just is so chill.
Edit: Kinda surprised I didn't see My Hero Academia season 7 opening by TK on here, but maybe the list was made before it aired.
Personally I don't really like or hate any of these. Not the best season for music imo.

36(Viral Hit) i still don't know why they opted for that op but that's the only weak part of the series.
It's basically a student that has to take care of his mother finding out he can make money through UA-cam by brawling with others. He now stream snipes others that has been known to behave awfully despite being small. It's hilarious, it's action packed and has interesting concept.
sadly, you can tell they didnt get much budget for the adaptation, still liked it tho
