Ending 2, “great escape” from Cinema Staff was not your typical anime ending. The guitar work was utterly insane and the few endings that get you hyped !
@@Mattis06 nah, ed 3 foreshadowed the Rumbling, ymir fritz’s daughters eating her, when titans first invaded marley (fall of lago), the main 9 titans, and they crossed out the founding titan which foreshadows Eren’s death. they basically spoiled the whole lore
Ai Higuchi’s Ending 8, “see you later”, after reading the lyrics & full version is especially heartbreaking ❤️🩹. This is Eren & Mikasa’s song, a life we all wished for them to have. 😭
I played the final ending at my wedding, orchestral version, and it is painfully beautiful. I highly suggest looking up the lyrics, they make me cry every time. My heart aches so so bad for Mikasa and Eren, they deserved a happier ending together. But it gives a small sense of peace knowing she died and found him according to this video

My personal favourites are endings 1 and 4. I just love the way they sound. The emotions they give. Also the parallels between endings 1 and Akuma no ko are incredible

Ed 2 foreshadowed so much( 1:everyone who had a secret identity were on the other side of the war. 2: Mikasa was holding something invisible (Erens head) and a mantis was behind her and female mantises kill and eat their partners. 3: Erens founding titan can be seen in the end flashing while everyone is looking at it. 4: There was one scene i think that was from the manga from one of the final chapters. Keep in mind this was all in season 1)
Oh my god I noticed the mantis behind Mikasa but never realized that’s what her pose looked like, same with Eren’s founding titan in the flashes of the background :O. This shows rewatch value is insane, and I’ve listened/watched that ED a billion times (￣ω￣;)
You should react to them with lyrics.. you cant actually react to the music + visuals + lyrics all at once so it makes sense to revisit them now you know the visuals & the music but focus on the lyrics now youve watched the show.. they are beautiful
Btw Ive heard (not sure if true) that ending one is Mikasas side of the story and kind of a "letter" to Eren.. while the last ending is Erens reply to Mikasa.. all Eren wanted was for Mikasa not to suffer.. seeing all futures and past and having all the knowledge of past attack titans and future attack titans all he did he did trying to spare Mikasa the most pain.. but in the end all roads lead to tragedy.. so he took out all menaces (at least for his and Mikasas timelife) and then took himself out of the equation.. knowing that wouldnt last for ever.. Paradise would eventually be destroyed.. but that would be AFTER Mikasa had grown old and died of old age.. so he deemed it an ok timeline

You should go back and watch the lost girls mikasa OVA. The emotions you will feel will also catch you by surprise.
