Awesome. I too struggled with alcohol and addiction for 38 years. Two prison stints. Multiple surgeries. 7 back, neck broke twice, hip replacements. The pills. Omg. 8 years clean now. Life is beautiful
Good for you. I’m 32 years clean from a drug addiction. I live an absolute boring life and I love it. Looking back I can’t understand the appeal that lifestyle had on me. Seriously, who wants to live like that. About 5 years ago I sustained a serious back injury. The first thing I said and did when being examined by doctors was to refuse any and all opiates, before it was even discussed as a treatment. Sadly my best friend 32 years after I got clean is still dealing with the monkey. Most addicts want to get clean but it takes a strong person to follow through
@@MikeHart72 Ty and congratulations to u also. I too live that boring, stay at home type life. When I was drunk or high I couldn’t stay still. One drink (bam) gotta drive see everyone lol. But so at peace with the boring life. I still active in AA. Trying work with others. Highlights of my week are meetings. Sad right?? Lol.
It's hard to tell how much of that is directly from his health problems. He's lost most of his teeth (meth will do that) but also this interview isn't recorded super clearly.
Perry has gone through so much. We are so happy we have helped him get back out there with the fans and the boys. He's way better than he was 5 years ago. Amazing seeing Perry's growth these last few years.

I know all to well the struggles with addiction, particularly alcohol, so when I see another addict push through their demons and come out on the other side, I feel their sense of relief and also recognize the fear and difficulty in getting there.
I always admired Perry's in-ring work. From ECW to WCW(his move set on WCW/nWo Revenge was killer) to the WWF. I was even fortunate enough to see him go up against Fit Finlay at a WCW house show. Great to see him doing good and living life! You can tell he enjoys talking about his career. Can't wait for the entire interview to be available!

he's lucky and I'm glad to see my man Saturn still kicking. the collision of promotions testing for marijuana and emergence of hardcore and riskier high spots led wrestling down a dark dark road from which many never came back.
Glad the younger generation of guys have a lighter schedule and a better understanding of personal health and fitness. Now they just kill time on the road by playing video games. The older generation paved the way and it definitely broke them down.

Very common in the ECW locker room. Rick Rude, Candido and Axl Rotten all did it.
Yes. You did.
Yeah, Nalbuphine HCL. I used to know a guy that would shoot Crystal Meth in his neck. It made the addicts that smoked it around him squirm.
