  • My suggestion is to sing (at least) one of these solfege videos every day paying careful attention to matching the piano with your voice. Daily practice like this will improve your ear and your ability to sing in tune.
Another idea I like to suggest on these videos is to "sing" internally (in your "mind's eye") if you're somewhere you don't feel comfortable singing out loud (or to just mix up your practice bit.) Practicing this kind of musical imagination is good for your overall musicianship as well and is a good thing to work into your practice routines.
This video is a follow-up to these previous videos:

Key of G: • Solfege: Sing For Ten ...
Key of D: • Solfege: Sing For Ten ...

Key of E: • Solfege For Ear & Voca...
    Key of B: • Voice & Ear Lessons: S...

As you can see I'm working through the circle of 5ths to get to all of the major keys. It's a good idea for your singing and ear practice that you sing all 12 of them (all 12 should be up within a week at the latest.)
Composers generally use Db instead of C# because Db only has 5 flats while C# has 7 sharps but there are some famous examples of C# being used in compositions by composers like JS Bach, Maurice Ravel, Erich Wolfgang Korngold, and Franz Liszt.
I read every comment and I take suggestions. Let me know what kind of videos you'd like to see on my channel. Thanks!
