It's amazing how tight and advanced Gojira's first album is And the progress from album to album is otherworldly It took me 6 months to learn this song first by charting it then sitting down at the kit and actually putting it all together I've seen Gojira 8 times and they are one of the few bands that are actually better live Love and good vibes to the World wide Gojira collective 😎✌️🤘🧐
Joe- "i am not that good of a guitarist ya know. If you put me in a room full of professionals id have nothing to add. I cant really read or write music scales so i just try to see what cool sounds i can get by experimenting". What a cool honest guy, and yeah, he certainly found the cool noises. Lol.
for the story younger joe lived in a forest for a while whit his girlfriend with no electricity and stuff only nature , this song is about this experience
I really adore Gojira, a month ago I saw him live at the Mexico City Olympic velodrome and it was incredible, an indescribable sensation runs through your entire body.
i have said this before! You should look at the full live recording... This is from "the link alive". The best live show i have seen... on video, i wish i was there....
D Music Life!! Always a great reaction! Been watching you since early Jinjer days. Man do I have a band for you - check out Crypta "Trial of Traitors" official Napalm video. This death-metal band from Brazil is next-level! Some of their influences are Morbid Angel, Jinjer, Gojira, to name a few. They were personally requested by Morbid Angel to go on their last tour, as well as Ghost also requesting them. Crypta has two lead players who have wicked magic, the vocals are other-worldly, and the drummer is astounding! Peace!
Saw them play this at a little club in Denver a long time ago and it was fucking amazing. Never heard the album version until that show and was completely blown away.
I feel like you guys will thoroughly be blown away by the journey Nevermore - This Godless Endeavor will take you on. You'll walk away from that song blown away by musicianship, lyrics and have more questions than answers & be checking your schedule because you need a nap and want to listen to it again.
Want to go live in the forrest forever..lol when i was a kid i used to think same, just go live in the forrest.. but i love Gojira, and this one is very tight live like you said..
I've been rocking with you since car days....you recognize devastation when you hear it....I'm going to Sessanta tour...Primus , A perfect Circle and Puscifer....this shit is going to be LEGENDARY,,hope you catch West coast part...I'm driving 10 hours from Florida to Georgia to catch this one🤘🔥
gojira pantera and meshuggah are weirdly actually all in the same class of metal, pantera heavily inspired early meshuggah, meshuggah and pantera had an influence on gojira, and then gojira became a unique and amazing band
Once you understand Meshuggah you see their influence everywhere. All of the most popular metal bands look up to them. I just watched a video from 2012 of Meshuggah playing in the middle of the day and Corey Taylor and Joey are there watching them from the side. Pretty sure one of the guys from Mastodon was there also. Songs Meshuggah did in 1995 sound like they could be released today. That's how ahead of the game they were.
@@maureenwagg5305 true when you look at their recent work , but go back to "terra incognita" or even "the link" and it's less obvious.I think it all goes down to Joe's and Jens voices mainly IMO
This was the first song of theirs I heard after my initial listen and it's such a unique song. I love your reactions and reviews!! Please react to The Dillinger Escape Plan's song Honeysuckle 🤘
True sad story. Me and my baby momma split after 7 years. For 3 months, I listened to this song 24/7 on repeat and contemplated suicide. I drank a gallon of vodka every day and fantasized about hanging myself on this tree by my pond. I don't know if listening to this helped or hurt but I survived and they are still my favorite band
Man I know y’all did lizard skin already but can y’all please do the version from this performance (the link alive). I know y’all know that but just in case.
their first album is unbelievably heavy
It's amazing how tight and advanced Gojira's first album is And the progress from album to album is otherworldly It took me 6 months to learn this song first by charting it then sitting down at the kit and actually putting it all together I've seen Gojira 8 times and they are one of the few bands that are actually better live Love and good vibes to the World wide Gojira collective 😎✌️🤘🧐
One of their most underrated songs imo, it’s an absolute rhythmical masterpiece and most gojira fans don’t know or rate it
This is so good.. Gojira imo arent as magical as first four albums.. Maybe because there so good. Metal masterpieces..
In the forest is one of my favorite, so underated
Joe- "i am not that good of a guitarist ya know. If you put me in a room full of professionals id have nothing to add. I cant really read or write music scales so i just try to see what cool sounds i can get by experimenting".

Mario is a human metronome. Such a beast on the drums.
for the story younger joe lived in a forest for a while whit his girlfriend with no electricity and stuff only nature , this song is about this experience
I love that kid. Mario is mind blowing. At 61 I've heard great drummers but Mario is on a whole other level. Can't get enough of Gojira.
FUCK YEAH 🤘
Mario's wearing a shirt...some rare footage.
I’ve waited a year or more for this reaction! Their first album is amazing.
You should also check out "My Last Creation" off of their L'enfant Sauvage Special Edition album. It's underrated I feel.
Ahh, the mighty Gojira. One of my favorite bands. So good and so tight.

cheers from south brazil!!! gojira best band ever
Despite being so simple and I guess repetitive, this is legit one of my favorite songs by them
my jaw was DROPPED for 2 minutes straight the moment that song kicked in with the tight gallops😭 GOSH!!
Finally!!!! Been waiting for this a long time ago! Keep it coming guys!
Saw them play this at a little club in Denver a long time ago and it was fucking amazing. Never heard the album version until that show and was completely blown away.
Thanks for this, one of my favorites, soooo tight, soooo deep !!!
8 miesięcy wstecz widziałem was w ocenie zespołu Nightwish teraz przypadkiem też was widzę i życzę wam wszystkiego najlepszego z Polski dla was
I think that song is hard to absorb... listen to it on repeat and discover devastation 🤘🔥

Seen them in Summer in the Arenas of Nîmes, France (old romans ruins where we have concerts in summer:p) It was fire.
Want to go live in the forrest forever..lol when i was a kid i used to think same, just go live in the forrest.. but i love Gojira, and this one is very tight live like you said..
GREAT song. Merry Christmas y'all 😊😊
Top 3 bands of all time for me
I think the best description for Gojira's first album is "suffocating".. in a good way.. it is like filled with void
D-you shared gorgeous job-have a good day!

Nice man!
Sessanta was even more amazing than I dreamed...Primus fuckin DESTROYED IT🤘🔥
I know we're both serious Tim Alexander fans...he was incredible
Amazing live 🔥🔥🔥🔥
is it just me ? the more i listen to some "old" Gojira , the more i hear Meshuggah's influence

Influence, maybe, but they are way more melodic than Meshuggah. Different vibe entirely.

Love live at Rio or their full demo Possessed (17 min or so), so worth it, pure Death. keep the Gojira vids comin!
Christmas wish…The Anchor “Masterpiece” show this female fronted metalcore band some love.
This was the first song of theirs I heard after my initial listen and it's such a unique song. I love your reactions and reviews!! Please react to The Dillinger Escape Plan's song Honeysuckle 🤘
next Gojira - Hellfest 2013 - Where Dragons Dwell \m/ \m/
i'm pretty sure they already uploaded that one and it got taken down :/

I drank a gallon of vodka every day and fantasized about hanging myself on this tree by my pond. I don't know if listening to this helped or hurt but I survived and they are still my favorite band
TOOL in a few weeks. Ready to start the. We Year like this past one ❤
is it just me or does gojira seem like death (the bands) child
they are also musically influenced
What a masterpiece. Highly underrated song.

Man I know y’all did lizard skin already but can y’all please do the version from this performance (the link alive). I know y’all know that but just in case.
