I like the fabric from the demo best and Tula pink Roar second. I love this pattern. JoAnn's has the Its Sew Emma paper in stock, 40 percent off, and free shipping today! I ordered mine and can't wait to try this :). I will use fabric from my stash, not sure what yet!
I’m a Tula Pink fan, so I love that quilt, but the fabric you used is fantastic. Thank you for always providing projects to keep us going. Love Fat Quarter Shop
LOVED THE J WRECKER FRESH. I REALLY LIKE HER FABRICS. STARTED PAPER PIECED WHEN I FIRST SAW YOU DOING IT AND BEEN LOVING IT EVER SINCE. THANK YOU KIMBERLY!
Loved Cathe Holden, Kaffe Fassett, and Tula Pink. The tutiporial was great. Also Kudos to the staff that designed this pattern. I particularly love the way the pattern shows side by side images of the color placement when sewing with the foundation paper, and how the block will look after sewn. I’ve paper pieced for years and love it, but I think showing the side by side images is great for quilters just learning how to use foundation paper.
I think I like the Tula Pink fabrics best! Tutti Frutti second best. I love watching you use foundation paper. I didn’t think I would like paper piecing, but after watching several of your tutorials, I tried it and really enjoy the results. Thank you for all you do to inspire!
Loved this tutorial! I liked Jelly and Jam, Cathe Holden, Kaffe Fassett, Tula Pink, Tutti Frutti Batiks. Thank you for this beautiful pattern and the video.
I love how you gave us suggestions on how to use foundation paper. I have all sizes and designs of your foundation paper, so I appreciate this type of design to guide and inspire.
What a fantastic pattern! My fav is Kathe Holden, then Kaffe Fassett, then Tula Pink, but they are all lovely. I must order those papers and fabrics so I can make this quilt. Thank you Fat Quarter Shop!
The Kaffe version is my favorite. Thanks for introducing me to another great fabric designer though - Love this quilt and I never made the Economy Block yet - I may just have to give it a try.
This Economy Paper is my favorite! I made several pillow tops using this, just added extra borders to make the pillow a little bigger. They turned out so neat using this paper. Instructions are so clear and easy to follow. Thanks FQ!! and Kimberly.
Love the fabric and thanks for the great tips, Kimberly! The fabric reminds me of a dress I made years ago when I was young. I began sewing at 13 yrs old...60 years ago!😊
I decided not to wait for the kit. I just ordered the fabric needed (including backing). I have a Tucker Trimmer 3 that will make the square in a square block so I won't need to paper piece the blocks. 🙂
