I just subscribed, this looks interesting. I am in Illinois,USA. Love your country. I am 71 and just got a monkey, started riding in my 20s,now getting back into it. I live 17 miles from 4 towns,an electric wouldnt do.
I am subscribed. Good story stays behind your present trip from 55 years ago. Monkey was always my favourite small bike. Waiting for the next episodes! Have wide roads, no rains, safe riding!
Thanks, @tibormolnar6074! It took me many years to get a Monkey. You are never to old to laugh your head of. That bike is pure fun to ride. 😂 Ride safe! 👍
@@PerWassberg I am over 65, still riding a Suzuki LS650 thumper. Sometimes got backpain, quite often have to stop for a rest, but the road calls me again and again. Take care!

Awesome guys, nice to see the Motonaut straps as well 👌 I'm tempted to get one and point i ninja green. My Kawa 75cc Monkey served me wellnin the early youth. ADV all the days on it. Single tracks inbthe woods. Beer at Hjalmars in this moment? 👀😁🍺
FWIW, new Gopros, and slightly older ones with the "Max lens mod" can keep the horizon straight and level automatically. Even if you rotate the camera upside-down, up stays up in the picture.
@@PerWassberg Actually I was trying to say that the content is great and deserves a better camera. ;) I sold my Monkey 125 a few months ago and I'm now riding a CL 500, and this was the first Monkey video I've watched after selling mine. Unfortunately I just can't have two bikes.
Your tip was good and appreciated. I have the latest GoPro but not using it the best way. Need to focus more on the filming and keep my head from spinning. 😂😁
@@PerWassberg Here's some Monkey 125 footage shot with a Gopro 10 and a Max lens mod ua-cam.com/video/mOPAYR3EbqI/v-deo.html I don't know if it's _that_ much better after UA-cam video conversion, but at least the horizon stays level ;)
Vackra bilder. Är de fina säten för en lång resa? (Have to practice my Swedish bit more) Like to see more from your journey. Hälsningar från Nederländerna (sorry there already was a question about the comfort 🙈)
If you're really serious about travelling the world, a 125cc Honda, although probably not a monkey bike, is a very good choice. It's fast enough to keep up with most traffic, it's light and manoeuvrable in rugged terrain, and most importantly the entire world has parts for it and can fix it! If all else fails you can just abandon it and buy another one quite cheaply.
Agree, and if you get stuck you can take the bike in your armpit and take it over the obsticle. The Monkey is crazy fun to drive and surprisingly comfortable. We were laughing for five days. 😂
Nice Video, I subscribed. I am following. I hope I will ride from Berlin to Nordkapp in August 2025. If anyone wants to join me, they can. Best wishes to all Motorbike friends. Murat

We are pritty much in the same age. Never stop riding, just going slower. 😁
I don’t really need a Monkey, but I would love to have one! Great video!
It makes your life happier. 😁😂
Inspiring. No need for an adventure bike for a great adventure.
I believe any bike could be an adventure bike. The pilot makes the adventure. 😁🏍️🐒

Your swedish is perfect! The seat is like a sofa. Very comfy. 👍

Mycket bekvämare än man kan tro. 😁
