I will never forget Club Penguin. It was my favorite thing to play, almost 24/7 each day. I played it until the very end of it's life, starting after the third anniversary (I still remember the yellow blue and pink hat you got from the party). When I developed Tourette's syndrome, my very first vocal tick was the squeaks the puffles would make. That was always fun explaining that to people, and I still get them sometime today. I miss it :(

(No one was ever impressed, but jokes on them, do THEY remember the yellow puffle made it's first apperance in the 2007 halloween party? I think not!)
I loved the connection between the gamers and the developers, i loved the art, the story, the details, the hidden things!!!! This made history, this touched my heart and my childhood in a dramatic way. There won't ever be a better game in the world. Rip.
I miss the game, and I really admire your job in Club penguin . In 2010 I knew 6 kids with the same age of me throught CP, and now we continue been friends, i'm very happy for have met them, we have a lot of good memories of the game. Now we are college students.

THE MONA PENGUIN. OH MY GOD I remember when it was in the catalog!!! And I also remember that I kinda wanted it, but it cost like 5000 coins, so I never bought it. And then it obviously never returned, and it ended up being a super rare item, that I COULD have had if only I tried to earn more money and wasn't a ten year old who didn't realize that this would be really cool to own! The first penguin band background was even worse for me; I was at that scavenger hunt, I found all the instruments except ONE, so I didn't get the background, and I still kicked myself about it a decade later. Greetings from this penguin who joined in mid-2006. Gosh, the mention of the MCCP forums brings back memories.

In regards to the CP crew listening to fan ideas...I remember when I was younger I'd always email Club Penguin. Usually to give them themed party ideas like Doctor Who and stuff...But it was SO much fun because the employees who would respond to the emails were the nicest people ever. They'd ask me questions about my ideas or what characters I liked from whatever show or movie I mentioned and it always made me want to spend a bunch of time chatting with them because they were so sweet. That's just a really special CP memory I have that I feel is pretty unique.💙

I have been dying to know. Every Thursday when a new edition of the Club Penguin Newspaper would come out - would it just be someone in the office making up something for the Agony Aunt advice section? Me and my friends wrote in multiple times a week for years and never got picked. Just curious 🤣 Love your work!
I wasn't in charge of this, but my understanding was that it varied. Sometimes it was an exact question from a player, sometimes it was a question a lot of players were asking that was rephrased to address them all, and sometimes it was a fake question that was needed to help propel a certain storyline along. Sorry that yours didn't get picked! Writing to Aunt Arctic was incredibly popular, and I believe there were tens of thousands of messages sent every week.

I just subscribed. "Club Penguin" is a huge part of my childhood. I remembered renting in the nearest internet cafés from our house just to play this game. I was so happy playing the spy missions, and when the first time I got accepted to enter the Dojo. I am now 23 but I still treasure this experience. Also, I am happy that "Club Penguin Rewritten" has been created. =)
